I’m trying to apply for vehicle finance through Standard Bank and I’m not getting assistance. They requested for my employment contract and I sent it to them . It is signed by me and HR manager but they still sent me an email requesting for a letter signed by both parties. Tried calling my private banker but he is nowhere to be found I even sent emails via banking app but they never bothered to get back to me. I’m honestly starting to get frustrated and thinking of just applying with another bank. And I Might as well cancel my accounts with Standard Bank too coz I don’t get assistance I need
I got into an accident, I couldn’t drive my car so I contacted blink by mi way for assistance. They kept on transferring me from one consultant to another. When someone finally assisted me after waiting for too long they told me they will tow my car . When it was time to take my car to the panel beaters with a tow truck they gave the towing company a different address to the one they gave us. And we only found out about this when we got to the place that they actually gave us two different addresses. The panel beaters told us they don’t have my car on the system, so they won’t accept it. We tried calling to get clarity as to where the car must go but still no one assisted on time. The tow company advised us to go to the one they knew, because apparently the one blink by mi way was producing bad quality and they take time to fix cars. I’m so disappointed.Now I’m trying to find out if I can get a courtesy car but no one is assisting me. I feel helpless
They gave me KWID when I had selected a toyota Yaris . I was charged R11500 for deposit, a ridiculous amount of money for an unstable KWID . Only rented the car for 3 days mind you.The KWID was not comfortable to drive , I couldn’t drive up to a speed of 80 KM per hour, because the car was shaken by wind and other car’s passing. now that it’s time to get my deposit back Europcar is telling me stories saying I will get it after 21 days. How ridiculous is that ?
Please be warned before joining MiWay blink, the premium and access will be low but the service you’ll get will be very bad! I sent a claim for hail damage , and I did not receive any updates on the claim I had to constantly be the one sending them messages on WhatsApp asking for update. i sent another claim for left hand side mirror damage , they told me it has been approved and the panel beater who will fix the problem is in germiston. Germiston is far from where I live and work so I asked them to check with panel beaters from midrand and they are refusing to help. Also , The panel beater in germiston is situated in an are with questionable safety , I saw this when I took my car for assessment. I’m asking them to change the panel beater or at least show me three quotes they received from before deciding to go with the panel beater in germiston and they’re ignoring me . And I asked them to fix the side mirror because it’s very risky and unsafe for me to drive without it. They are still refusing to assist. At this point I’m not even sure if I will get the assistance I need

MiWay insurance has a tendency of debiting me before I actually get paid and on the agreement I told them to debit my account on the 29th of each month. I complained about this several times and they reassured me that it will never happen again! Guess what ? I got debited a week before pay day again! I’m trying to call their consults now to cancel this insurance with immediate effect because I cannot continue to complain about the same thing each month!
Yesterday on the 26th of March 2023 I tried booking a ticket for the theme park and the sytem kept on rejecting my card payment… I then asked my friend to book the ticket for me as I was struggling on my side. She booked the tickets for the both of us . Then 30 minutes later I receive a bank notification saying R250 has been deducted from my account and I get a message from Gold Reef City with my order. I tried calling the theme park to tell them about my situation and the staff was not helpful at all , they kept on transferring me to different people. When I arrived at the theme park, where we get our tickets, I spoke to one of the cashiers and asked them to please refund me for the one ticket that got purchased moments after asking my friend to buy the ticket for me as I was Struggling, she told me it’s not possible they cannot refund me. I asked to speak to the supervisor but she was not helpful too … her name is Lerato Moko… something like that. She took my details down and said she will make a plan … and the plan she is talking about is not going to work for me.. she says they will extend the expiration date on my ticket but will not refund me. This is utter nonsense , especially when I’m in this whole mess because of their system. R250 is a lot of money and I cannot just donate it to such a big organisation for no reasons!
I’ve been with afrihost since last year and they are honestly the best. I’ve ordered a fibre relocation twice and the process was very quick both times. I always have good connection and I pay way less compared to other fibre providers. The agents annoy me sometimes with the many questions they ask before assisting but they Are very helpful.
The service I’ve been getting for the past two years it’s amazing. The technicians always show up on time whenever a problem is reported .
