Our visit to The Jungle was far from what we had hoped. We arrived at around 18:30, were greeted, handed menus, and placed our drink order about 10 minutes later, followed by our food order. Unfortunately, that was the last time we felt properly attended to. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and only checked on us three times in the 1 hour and 30 minutes we waited for our food—once to take our second drink order, once to acknowledge she was “all over the place,” and finally when bringing our meals. When my burger arrived under a Tiki mask/hat-style presentation, it toppled over. Instead of addressing the issue properly, the waiter simply lifted it back up and mentioned reprimanding the kitchen staff, which didn’t solve the problem. My partner’s Misty Mountain burger was served with the top already removed, which was odd. Worse still, we were given no cutlery and had to eat with our hands until halfway through the meal when utensils were finally provided. Adding to the disappointment, we were supposed to receive a drum with dry ice for a theatrical touch, but we had to ask for it—and even then, it never came. The food was cold, the service was terrible, and there was no sense of accountability from the staff. This was our first time at The Jungle, and given this experience, it’s highly unlikely we’ll ever return.
I had the pleasure of being assisted by Nontobeko on Saturday, the 23rd of November, while sorting out my new cellphone contract. Despite an initially frustrating experience with Telkom—where I was credit vetted twice for an iPhone 16 Pro Max that wasn’t in stock—Nontobeko went above and beyond to resolve the issue. She managed to cancel the previous applications and redid the process, even though my application was flagged for review due to a system error. Throughout this, I was attending an out-of-office meeting in Cape Town and couldn’t visit Kolonnade Mall, but Nontobeko kept me updated every step of the way over the next four business days, even while she was on leave. On the day I returned to Johannesburg, the 25th of November, she contacted me to let me know my application was approved and went the extra mile by sharing her personal number for coordination. On Friday, the 29th of November, after being stuck in traffic for over three hours and missing the shop’s closing time, Nontobeko graciously unlocked the door and assisted me despite the inconvenience. This level of dedication and hard work exceeded all my expectations. Nontobeko truly embodies exceptional customer service, and I can’t thank her enough for her assistance. She turned a frustrating situation into a positive experience. Thank you, Nontobeko!
Ref #39035, my review got accidentally deleted. But I was charged for utilities I did not use especially for water, during the time that I was not in the unit. Although you sent screenshots “claiming” that no deductions were made, how come the deductions reflect on my app. I have proof in the form of screenshots, which I have attached and forwarded and have even more.
I moved in to my apartment about a month ago and honestly working with Fungi has been the most daunting experience. I have emailed and called several times, but simply no answer. For the Easter weekend, we decided to lock up and go away for the weekend. However I am being billed far more for not being there than I do when I am there. Nearly R1000 for utilities for the span of a week. A thorough investigation needs to be done, this is ridiculous in all honesty.

I had the worst experience at Popeyes. My partner and I were on our way back to Pretoria from Johannesburg and decided to make a pit stop at Popeyes, Sandhurst Shopping Center in Sandton, since we've read about it on social media and wanted to try the food ourselves. Firstly, the later taking the order was short off, rude and very impatient. Secondly, the coldrinks in the dispenser had no acid. We waited for 20minutes, after receiving our food and no luck, everytime we asked how long it would take we got told 3min, 5min. After 10minutes we decided to exchange the cups for bottle coldrinks which the lady gave that wasn't even equal to the size we initally ordered. Furthermore, the gossip in front of you in their mother tongue. Lastly, when we eventually got to eat, the food was cold, the chicken tasted like it had been fried in dirty oil. It was truly a dissapointing experience and a waste of money!
I called Telkom around past 10 on the 30th of April informing them that my dsl line has no internet connection. Later in the day the technicians showed up and checked our cabling as well as the nearest Telkom box to our house. When they came back to inform us on the situation they said no they will be back tomorrow to fix the situation as it is at the central Telkom station. Today is the 1st of April and they have still not showed up however they deducted the money for the next months subscription. I am utterly disappointed in the service as it is long weekend so we know they won’t send anyone out after the 2nd I wouldn’t recommend Telkom to anybody I know they are incompetent and so slow with resolving issues!
They always provide me with the best client services. I am always aware of new products, promotions and discounts. Recently I received a call saying that they will be delivering a new handbag just to say thank you! Honestly, Isabella Garcia never fails to surprise or provide the best! Thank you!!
This service is quick and efficient. My driver clicked on “delivered” on his delivery app and I panicked so much because I thought my package got delivered to the wrong address since I got the notification on my app. Before I could even inform Checkers, I received a WhatsApp message from the driver stating that the driver only left the shop now and will inform me once he is at my house, he even apologized for having me worried. That’s fast, efficient and reliable service right there that should get acknowledged. Thank you!!
I ordered food from Pizza Pug Express, for the first time I don’t have a problem with the actual restaurant, because their food is up to standard. However, MrD disappointed me, the driver threw out my food and left without an apology or offering to pay for it. Instead he took the full amount for the food and got on his bike and drove away.
