I submitted a complaint to CSOS KZN which eventually culminated in sending final submissions for adjudication. This was in November 2024. I've tried contacting CSOS intermittently since then with no real response at all. I find their arrogant and flippant actions toward a sanctioned process absolutely pathetic. CSOS is the last line of defense for people like me that require our voices to be heard when unfair practice and blatant ignorance prevails.
I sent my Kirby vacuum cleaner to the kirby Edenvale service center, but when it was returned to me after a invoice for over R2000, I did not receive my vacuum cleaner. The one I received back is old and dented and the pipes are in a really bad condition, effectively it is unusable. Upon contacting the service requesting my own machine back, they just appear to fob me off. It has now been three weeks of me trying to get clarification and satisfaction and my patience has come to an end. These people regularly pester me to send my machine to them for servicing, but their service is atrocious.
I recently used Lift airlines for the first time, the booking, communication and service on the ground and in the air was awesome. It is so refreshing to come across a company that is professional and friendly. Thank you to Lift for a wonderful experience.
I had to make a phone call to the 0860 number of Discovery Health and the call ended up costing me R40, because the operator put me on hold for over ten minutes, until to my surprise my airtime ran out. I am under the impression that 0860 numbers are free of charge?
I had a Telkom fibre connection installed in August 2021. I haven't paid any invoices since then because I simply cannot create an account on the Telkom app to do so. The app is the most useless and un-user friendly piece of technology I've ever come across. On selecting the help function, it just comes upas not available. I have now been handed over to some law firm. Just like any government institution it is absolutely useless and frustrating.
I have just moved into a lifestyle retirement village in Scottburgh KZN. The Kone elevator has been out of order for some time and by listening to other people that live here, this is a common occurrence. The other day I saw a pretty old lady in absolute agony with a pinched nerve in her back, having to climb four flights of stairs. I notice that periodically a Kone technician appears and hangs around a bit trying to attend to the broken elevator, then leaves for another week or so, with the elevator still not working. For representatives of an international company that allegedly prides itself with world class product and service (according to their website), there seems to be a major disconnect between what they say and what they actually do. So I would seriously recommend to anyone in the design and construction of structures requiring an elevator, to think very carefully about using Kone to use one of the other well known brands such as Otis or Schindler. I have had the experience of witnessing the professionalism, caring and promptness of Otis Elevators.
I wish that I could be writing a good review, as I prefer doing this. This is a follow up of a review I posted some weeks ago referring to service that is way under par. I purchased a pre owned motorcycle from Harley in Alberton in September 2020, although I received the bike on the 29th September, I did not get the Natis documents. Its now going on nearly three months and I still don't have these documents. To add to this, the brake lights don't work when applying the foot brake. This was a snag noted by the dealership when collecting my bike. Vey dangerous when vehicles cannot see that you are breaking. Guess what, still nothing done about this either and this is after contacting the owner/manager with all promises about a speedy solution.
I purchased a pre-owned Harley Davidson from the Roc Harley in Alberton. Upon collection of my bike on the 29th of September there were no E-Natis registration papers available. It is now mid-November and still no papers. I think this is a poor reflection on the company with no apparent sense of service or urgency. How difficult is it to obtain the registration papers, this after I paid R3500 for this service?
I purchased a pre owned Harley Davidson from Roc Harley in Alberton. Upon taking delivery of the bike on the 29th of September 2020, it was found the that foot brake wasn't activating the stop light (this after I was assured that the bike goes through an exhaustive mechanical check before I receive it) and there where no registration papers. It is now mid November and still no papers and number plate, of which I paid an extra R3500.00 for. Pretty bad service I would say.
Hi, I unfortunately suffered water damage to my plastered ceiling. Monterose builders was the company of choice by Outsurance to effect repairs. The whole ceiling (6x5m) in my lounge had to be pulled down and replaced and re-plastered. I was not looking forward to the mess and inconvenience that this posed. The Monterose team arrived, protected the carpet, TV, electronics and sealed off the kitchen and rest of the house. Within five hours, the new ceiling was up and plastered and the crew left the site after cleaning up. Well done on a well oiled team and obviously a professionally run company. Thank you
