Cell stole my money. I bought airtime for R18 using my Capitec app After deducting R8.20 for an advance I owed I should have been left with R9.80 so I had seen a data bundle I wanted to buy but short so I took another advance of R2 making my total available R11.20.When I tried to buy the bundle it says I'm still short when I check my balance it shows I only have R3.10.Can someone at cell explain why they stole my money.I didn't have my data on has I was using a wi-fi connection so where did R8.10 go. We did a application on the 1st of October today is the 6th and this useless company doesn't give you feedback you call them and stay on the line holding without ever getting to speak to someone you email them and they reply hours later what a useless company to deal with it's a disgrace honestly. This guys are useless there application app is a waste of time it's been 3 days since I've done a application with them I've accepted there Debi check order which they very quick to send.i then tried 3 times uploading documents to there useless mobile app site which doesn't show documents are uploaded but I get and sms confirmation it's done. Only when you email them and they reply after 24 hours you find out they haven't been received and then you have to mail them all the documents now my application is just standing you mail them you try and phone them not thing they don't care.They dont understand if someone is applying for a loan it something important. In my case it's for a medical reason but why should they care they say they offer fast service but all lies I will probably not be around to see that money when or if it gets paid out. So anyone trying to apply with this company do it 1 year in advance. There should be a option to select zero for companies like this.

Despite this, MTN failed to follow my request and instead debited my Nedbank account on 1 July 2025. On 1 August 2025, I contacted MTN to advise that no debit order had gone through from either my Nedbank or Capitec account. I had sufficient funds in both accounts to determine from which account the debit would be processed. I was informed the debit order would go off in the evening – which did not happen. I called again the following day and was told it would be processed “anytime,” yet no debit order went through. Over the following days, I spoke to multiple agents who all assured me that my account was “up to date” and that the debit had been processed successfully. I repeatedly explained that there was no record of any debit order on my accounts, but I was continuously reassured that everything was in order. On 5 August 2025 at 18:52, I spoke to an agent named Tshepiso (reference number: 1-56321692275), who confirmed that the payment had gone off and that my account was up to date. I specifically asked her to confirm this because my bank records did not show any such debit, but she still assured me it had been processed. Today, 14 August 2025, I discovered that my SIM cards have been blocked due to “non-payment.” This is completely unacceptable. I cannot even call MTN to resolve the issue because my calls are blocked. This situation is frustrating, highly inconvenient, and demonstrates extremely poor service. Your failure to correctly process the debit order — despite my repeated efforts to confirm payment — has now impacted my service and will likely affect my credit profile. I hold MTN fully responsible for this matter. I request that you review all recorded conversations I have had with your agents. I expect an urgent call from an MTN manager within the next 24 hours. If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will escalate my complaint to the highest authority. I look forward to your prompt response.
