Twice in a very short space of time I have placed online orders with Woolworths. One was for a baby gift and the other was for some winter clothes for my granddaughters. I am so impressed with the way in which my two orders were handled. No mess, no fuss. The correct sizes were delivered and they were delivered efficiently. And I am delighted to see that Woolworths has moved away from plastic packaging. My parcels came in cardboard boxes, and were beautifully wrapped and packed. Highly recommend Woolworths for online shopping.
I placed an online order on 18 April 2022 in the sum of R1631.00 for four different items. My order was confirmed via email on 20 April with all four items showing. Again on the 20 April I received an email confirming that ONE of the items would be shipped, and this was done fairly promptly. Then there was deathly silence from Leroy Merlin, until I emailed them. I received a reply from one Jeanette Kganyago, on the 26 April informing me that they had not received payment from me!!!! I immediately sent a copy of my Credit Card statement to Jeanette. On the 27 April 2022 I received an email notification that my order had been CANCELLED due to non-payment. On 28 April Jeanette wrote asking from which store I would like to receive my goods, because she had noticed that I was close to their Greenstone store, but I had placed my order at their Fourways store. I SHOPPED ONLINE AND DID NOT SELECT A STORE! I wrote back to Jeanette on the 28 April 2022 telling her this, and stating in no uncertain terms that I wanted my goods to be delivered URGENTLY! Jeanette responded on the same day apologising for the poor service and assured me "I will definitely try my level best to sort out your query." I have not heard from Jeanette or anyone else from Leroy Merlin since the 28 April and today is the 11 May 2022. I am absolutely disgusted at Leroy Merlin's lack of service and their attitude and will definitely never shop there again.
I booked flights for my husband at approximately 7am this morning through Travelstart. At 7h18 my husband received an email from Travelstart, stating that his payment was being processed. At 7h25 he received a notification from RMB Private Bank stating that the amount paid for the flights had been reversed. After a protracted period of time I eventually found a Cape Town telephone number for Travelstart. I phoned them at 10h46. I hung on for 10 minutes 57 seconds without being put through to an agent. They do not have a regular email address available, so I then "emailed" them on their website. At this time (20h42) I have received no acknowledgement from them of my email. I am warning you all - NEVER USE TRAVELSTART. Either book directly through an airline, or through a reputable travel agent. I am disgusted at their lack of concern.
Went to Spec-Savers Stoneridge for my latest eye test and prescription glasses. Leonard (who does the admin) and Cecilia, the optician gave me professional, efficient and friendly service. Highly recommended. No hassle, no fuss.
On Sunday morning 6 February our family (12 persons) visited Papachinos Stoneridge. What a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, served hot and no orders were mixed up. Our waiter was friendly and efficient and the play area for little children is absolutely the best I have seen at any restaurant. Highly recommended.
I have been dealing with Hayley at the Edenvale/Bedfordview branch of Stor-Age. I was absolutely blown away by the efficient, friendly way in which she helped me. Plus, I made inquiries at a number of other storage companies in the area, and Stor-age was the most cost efficient option of them all. Highly recommended.
I have done virtually all my Christmas shopping through Makro Online. I am super impressed. I have received all my items carefully wrapped and in great condition. They do not keep you waiting for an inordinate length of time between order and delivery. In one instance where they ran out of stock I received a timeous email, giving me the option of waiting for stock or receiving a refund. I would recommend Makro Online shopping in a heartbeat.
On 29 September 2021 I visited the Greenstone Vodacom Store to upgrade my contract. I was assisted by a consultant named Michael, and he was amazing. Efficient, friendly and sorted my contract as quickly as possible. I have had some hairy experiences in Vodacom stores, but this one was a great encounter.
This business had a website, I spoke to someone by the name of Sam who said that they would come and quote me the next day. Steve pitched up and quoted R1400.00 to repair the TV. E-walletted the sum into his account. The TV worked for one night! I phoned Steve who said he would come to repair it the next day, but didn't pitch up. Spoke to him a second time and he promised to come today 16 March, but again didn't appear. Now when I try the number I used yesterday it says the number does not exist. I have obviously been conned.
