On the 30th June 2025 ,I went to Jabulani mall to buy. A few items .I got to the till and took out my items to pay which I did ,as I left the till I realised that I pay the normal prices for the items and I was not asked for the xtrasavings card.I then went back to query this and a controller by the name Thembeka came and instead of assisting made the situation worse as she did not resolve the problem but rather created an even bigger one.She said that to rectify the error caused by them she needed to do a refund back into the card which by the way was the first for me ,she explained that the refund takes atleast 5min to process then we can pay for the items .I waited for that refund for about 10min there until I suggested that I pay for the items again which I did .I left the shop with the hope that I was told it doesn't take long .Today it's the 2nd and am yet to receive my refund when I checked the message from the bank it mentioned something like 7 working days for the refund to be processed.What am I supposed to do while waiting as that money was meant to be used for something else,Why did that controller do something that she has no clue of and in turn **** to me .If ShopRite doesn't want us to buy from them again they must say so.Yesterday I called the store to speak to the manager and was transferred to Andrew who stated that he is not a manager and I should wait while he calls him I waited for more than 4 mins more ,I hung up and called again and still his highness the store manager was not anywhere to be found .I am highly annoyed and greatly disappointed by Jabulani mall's service.I'm not just a number ,I'm a customer.
I'm really really annoyed,I requested a trip today from Maponya to Jabulani mall ,this guy accepted the trip and while I was waiting for him to come he started the trip and I thought maybe he is already here and I noticed that he was not getting any closer but rather further and further away at that time I decided to cancel the trip and request another ride to my suprise I was charged a cancellation fee for a ride I was not even in . Please refund my r29.12 .I had to request another ride.How can I make 2 requests a few minutes apart from the same location and yet the trip that did not happen was already at a different location?
I bought a set of underwear from southgate and upon realizing that I do not need them I then took them to the jabulani branch to get my refund and they only credited the bra and not the panties yet nothing stated that I can't return them on my slip.The slip I was given was plain at the back and only accessories, jewelry and cosmetics were stated as items that I couldn't return. I find that as dishonesty from your side. Had the slip clearly stated what can and what can't be refunded I wouldn't be writing this. I am now sitting with panties that I will not wear anytime soon.I require my cr back.
I am writting this letter as a very dissapointed customer in actual fact dissapointed is an understatement.Last year i made a booking for the r1190 for 2 special at the westgate branch .It was first an issue were i wanted 1 pair to have antiglare and one of the consultants told me how the special does not accept extras only after i sent a complaint that i was told that it will be done .I then choose a frame that i wanted antiglare on and i was told that it had it .I got my glasses and i always felt that something was not right and i raised it with the optometrist and they said all was fine ,the 2nd pair was also a problem and i had reported it multiple times and it was even booked in more than once and eventually said the will change the glasses on the pair that did not have "antiglare" ,i eventually decided to stay with the glasses as i was tired of the back and forth.The 1st pair that was said to have antiglare was also giving me issues but like i said i had gotten tired of reporting one and the same issue that no one seemed to understand. Today i went elsewhere to get the glasses checked out and once again spec savers did not miss an opportunity to disappoint ,i paid for an antiglare which was never ever done .So what happened to my money that was paid for the antiglare why was i taken for a ride ?I'm constantly having to take off my glasses because wow that which you gave me was a huge disappointment not on one but both pairs .In all my years of wearing spectacles this was the worst experience ,i was going to let this be hence i never thought of using spec savers anymore and went elsewhere until i found out that my money was taken and service not delivered.
I sent my kids to get me a full chicken with two sides with extra sauce on the chicken from westgate gate today @15:44 .The kids got home with the chicken and when they got here the meat was as dry as dry can be ,when i called the store to complain i first spoke to Fikile who then transferred the call to Thembi who then asked Noel to call me . Noel said sorry the only way to fix the mess that was caused was to offer me a 1/4 chicken to sort out a full chicken mess .This is the worst form of disrespect i've ever been subjected to .I buy a full chicken and he wants to fix the mess created by then with a 1/4 chicken.If this is how Nandos Westgate does things then wow I'm really really disgusted.
The worst service ever ,they tell you they have a special and when you get to the branch it's a different story .You then agree to their available package and choose a different frame from the now agreed upon package and a day later want you to change them again😠.Then you ask about the payment option they tell you about an option they have but they don't give you the full info then that package is not available because...You complain about all these things and the likes of Maggie call you already with their minds made up to say we have failed you as a company but then so what attitude.I've appreciated Mellins services for years and if I were to rate them for prev service I would give the 30\10 that's how exceptional their service was but the service I got this year was the worst I've ever received from them .
I bought 2 garlic rolls from Spar Dobsonville yesterday,they were not so fresh but I bought them because I really needed them and thought that when I warmed them up they would taste different instead it got worse there's not even a little bit of garlic taste on those things .Money wasted I'm really really so disappointed .Food lovers westgate still rates one of the best in garlic bread. I'm really not happy.
About a week ago I went into the bank city branch to see if I could get a 1 temple or a new frame that would fit my son's lenses.I unfortunately did not get a frame but the guy that sits by the entrance took the glasses as he had spare temples to the back honestly I thought he would be able to assist little did I know that the frame would come back with a broken hinge at the bottom and the top one cracked .Just as I got home the top hinge that was left that he cracked gave in.Yesterday the other temple gave in and I realised that he damaged the hinges by forcing the wrong size of temples and the hinges got damaged .Honestly now my challenge has gone from bad to worse as he cannot wear them in anyway and he uses them full time. I'm really not happy ,I would have tried other branches to see if they might have a frame or a temple that fit would fit perfectly.
Appalling service from Tinswalo at Game Westgate who was so rude from the word go because even when I got to the till she didn't greet me I ended greeting her and she seemed less interested to assist and I thought to myself just do what you are here for and leave.I had bought a sunbeam fan heater which was on display and had no box which Thami/Themba Tshabalala advised me that I would get a display discount and I humbled asked Tinstwala about it and it was as if I swore at her ,her attitude changed for the worse she became even more rude .Her actions just said you know what you are irritating me .Her body languagespoke a million words.She went to call some lady I think her name is Gasemang when she came to me to assist i expressed to her that I honestly do not appreciate Tinswalo's attitude and guess what she did absolutely nothing concerning my complaint .I waiting for this Gasemang lady to see how best she can verify the discount issue. While that was happening Tinswalo left the till and never came back even when whe saw that I went and bought something else while waiting for the discount issue to be clarified she just looked at me and just ignored me as if to say i'm irritating her or maybe I smell or maybe my money is not good enough Game.I've never ever been disrespected in this manner as a customer ever.If this is how Game treats us I wonder if I will ever set my foot again there .
I am ****ed off at the service received from pick n pay protea glen yesterday. I bought a 2kg sky auto washing powder which was priced as r38.99 however when I got to the till the price scanned at r47.99 when I told that girl that was assisting me that the item scanned a different price to that at the shelf she insisted with a dismissing face that it minused ,I took her word for it as I was in a hurry. When I got time to relax I looked at the slip and the item did not minus.I feel very disrespected as a customer 😤 we work hard for this money for someone to joke with it.I want my refund of the difference that was overcharged and now I will also demand the double the difference. This thing could have been easily attended to had that girl listed to me 😡😡😡😡
