Bought a Defy DBO775 70cm Gemini Oven on 10 October 2025, on 17 December it stopped working and I reported it. On the 30 December 2025 the technician came by, inspected it and made his report. I followed up on 15 January 2026 and the was that the technician will collect the spares tomorrow (The 16th). On 23 January 2026 other technicians came by and did the same inspection and report again. They did not know about the spares that should should have been collected. I was informed that the repair will be done on 31 January 2026. Now it is 9 February, and I still do not have a oven. They do not reply on messages, when you call line are busy. I call the technician office number.... nothing.
JP, MCJ SOLUTIONS / AMG MAINTENANCE just takes money. My wife requested motorized garage doors to be installed by JP. He was quick to accept money and would start the Monday morning. He never pitched, around 11 AM when we called. He said that he had some problem with the supplier and will come the Tuesday morning, it is around this time he started saying stuff like “I swear I am not ****mer” out of the blue. Tuesday he was he did not answer his phone for a long time, eventually he left a message that said his phone was on charge and he was taking a bath (+-10:00 in the morning) and said he will come Wednesday. Wednesday @ 09:30 he asked if he could come the Friday because his sister is now having a baby, and that he must install 2 aircons at a primary school close to me anyway, followed by “I swear I am not ****mer”. I called the school as I am very fami**** with this school and the school knows me… The reply was that there was no aircon installation or repair to be done and that they do not know this person or this company. I called my bank to query the payment I made, the bank reply was that the money that came in to MCJ’s account was immediately transferred to another bank (Must go and check my messages, think it was M Bank). I asked the bank to block this account. It was not long when this guy was crying saying that he cannot come and do the job now because there is diesel money in the account. (So, all you need to do is go to the bank and verify your information, ID. Not that difficult). After this there was a lot of back and forth. He promises he is coming. Then when the day is almost past, he would have some excuses. No diesel or, bakkie broken. Yet he will reply stuff like “sorry I had to do an emergency job in Durban” (without a bakkie or diesel, traveling from Pretoria to Durban now). Then there will messages like he has lots of jobs to do in my area and he even have family nearby, so when I ask who his family is or, where will these other jobs take place, he disappears from the face of the earth. So, we decided to go to small claims court. We got a court letter and asked if we should send it the address, he put on the quote he said yes. So, we send the letter couple of times, and it is being ignored. One day I took the letter to the address myself. When I arrived there, I was greeted by his aunt. Grandma sitting on the stoep. She asked how she can help me; I showed her the court letter. She got angry and said that she is so tired of Jp giving this address as they do not know where he stays, probably with his girlfriend in “Springs” they said (BS Story), he does stay far from there. Then she went on about how the bank also visits as they are looking for his bakkies (Plural, bakkies). When uncle saw aunt angry, he came closer asked what is wrong? When she explained to him, he turned around angrily and mumbled something about him. Point is that his family including his mother lives there, not him according to them. (The Sheriff department knows where he stays) Eventually the court date arrives, and we sit in court, and they said to wait few more minutes for JP to arrive. After 15 minutes not pitching, we continued. After we finished, just as we walk out of court. Suddenly he messages my wife (always want to talk to woman and not men) via WhatsApp asking how it went. So, he said he will now pay R**** back a month and that we do not send the court letter. We agreed to that, another year passed, and nothing was paid. This is now past 3 years where he cannot unlock his locked account, cannot pay back, cannot install, just lies. Now he is busy with some wendy house BS story. RED FLAG!!!!!

I receive calls from African Bank which I never gave my number to, so they stole my number... imagine what they will do to your money. And the Robot recorded voice is so bad.... WOW.
Wow. Few months ago I complained that I received calls from clientelle which I did not want. It was sorted and I was at peace for a while.... BOOM!!! Now I am receiving SMS's.
Do not know where they stole my number from, but I never heard of Blue Label. Did not give them consent to call me, or gave them my number. How can we trust your service if we cannot trust you with cell numbers.

I have heard of old mutual before, but apparently they know me by taking my number and SMS me without my consent, and then I have to "optout" if I don't want their messages. I never gave them my number. How can you trust them with money if they do this with your number?
Never heard of 1Life and they bother me with SMS's without my consent. Then I must SMS back to optout? Cannot trust them when they just take your number and bother you like they want.
