Jewel was my 15.5 year old dog. My dog Jewel fell sick on Saturday the 13th September around mid-day. She had vomited early that morning and after that she seemed unstable on her feet. She appeared quite weak, and her gums appeared pale. We tried to feed her by ourselves to get her energy levels up but later decided to visit the vet. The Fourways Vet Hospital was the only facility that we were aware of that operated after ours and we arrived at their doors at 6pm on Saturday. The staff was polite and after a wait a nurse took Jewel away for general assessment. She was still very weak at the time. A little while later my wife and I were ushered in by Dr. Farai Munjer. Jewel was not in the rooms, but the doctor continued with his findings. He said that Jewel had a high fever but was otherwise fine. He advised that she had cateract and could be barely see that’s why she was stumbling around, other than that she was fine and that he would give her an injection for anti-nausea and an anti-inflammatory. At no point did we see the doctor with our dog. We were aware of Jewel’s diminished sight and hearing due to her age, but she was far from blind and a very active dog otherwise. The doctors last words were that she should be fine and if we were not happy, we could take her to our family vet on Monday. We brought Jewel home still weak expecting a turn around. Early Sunday morning I awoke to my wife crying in the lounge, cradling Jewel as her breathing had shortened dramatically and my wife expected the worse. We waited an hour before rushing her to out Vet in Olivedale. The Vet immediately said that her tummy was very bloated, and her gums were indeed very pale as I had noticed the day before. She took Jewel for an x-ray at no cost to ensure that her prognosis was correct. She was stunned that the doctors at Fourways Vet did not pick up the severity of her condition. She reported that Jewel has a mass that burst in her abdomen and the content of this has filled her abdominal cavity. She was in severe pain at that point there were no possible treatment. With a heavy heart my wife and I gave consent to the doctor to put her to sleep. I am utterly disgusted by the level of treatment at Fourways Vet Clinic. It is my belief that if the cause had been identified on Saturday they might have been treatment options available but die to the miss diagnosis by Dr. Farai Munjer we were forced to put our dog down. The lack of professionalism and ridiculous prices leave very little to desire of Fourways Vet Clinic. We have been left heart broken and angry that our dear pet could not be saved. It is my belief that if this was picked up on Saturday something could have been done to save my dog. I will be taking this up further with the South African Veterinary Council for further investigation as I have found numerous complaints online of a similar experience with other pet owners. I will also be taking this to the local media and social platforms.
My bike sat at Biker Warehouse for 2 weeks for a service. During that period I had to pay for new bar ends due to the loss of mine and when the bike was returned the engine warning light was on. This was not the case when I handed the bike in. On returning the bike I was told that they did not have the diagnostic tool for my bike and could not assist any further. I was asked to take my bike back to a manufacturers dealership. It goes with saying that I will not be using their service department in future.
I have been a client at this company for several years. The service levels are atrocious. Quick will sales and to charge clients but never get the details right.
I wish there was a zero rating. The casualty and their billing department are useless, especially from the administration side. I receive a summons warnings 3 year after the visit date with no previous communications. We will ensure that we do not support this facility again. No comms for 3 years but a summons reaches my phone number. Impressive.
You would probably end up six feet under before you managed to do anything a Douglasdale police station. The attitude and service is outrageous. I was being assisted by. Constable Kwinde who spent his time rocking on his chair and yawning. Every question was answered in distain. He 3ventually got up and let with out completing my report when he saw a college going out with a number of shotguns. How can we trust in these officers. The level of incompetence is baffling
If you ever want to encounter unfriendly, unprofessional and disinterested staff, visit Leroy Merlin Fourways. I have visited the store several times and every visit seems to get worse. The staff would rather play on their phones then help you as a customer.
I have been complaining about the same issues for months regarding the pool and the garage door at the residents. I have dealt with the agent that placed me, as well as the maintenance admin and they have tried to help as much as they can. I eventually was asked to speak to the principal to try to resolve. For a business that is aimed at dealing with clients on a regular basis I was shocked. She talks down to you and then bases her argument on photos taken when marketing the property. As I disgruntle client, I raised my voice in regards to incorrect facts and she cut the call on me. I cannot understand how she holds the positions she currently does. Its ridiculous.
I made a purchase on the 25th of November 2022, Black Friday. ! item was cancelled. I sent an email to takealot to enquire why the order was cancelled. Instead of responding to my mail the entire order was cancelled by the consultant. I now require the items and they have increased in price. The call centre is basically useless. Staff working at home and are to busy with other activities to assist, other staff members do not know the protocol to follow and cannot escalate the matter.
Don't ever use this company. I have waited a week now for my deposit to be refunded. The staff waited for the last minute to confirm the bank details. I was then told it would be a further week for the refund to be applied. After contacting the company, I was sworn and the phone slammed down on me. Lucky and Mabile were arrogant and refused to provide any assistance.
