I am writing this with great anger and disappointment with Cinecentre Midlands Mall. The lack of respect and arrogance of their staff is totally appalling and infuriating. I went to Cinecentre with my wife on the 3rd of June (which is her birthday) to watch the 8pm Screening of Mission Impossible :Final Reckoning. We got to there at about 19:55 bought our 2 tickets then proceeded to buy our pop corn and drinks. The line was a bit long and our turn to buy only came at about 20:05 and we knew the movie had already begun so were in a bit of a rush. When I reached the count I called out my order which was 2 large pop corns and 2 large drinks. The lady serving at the counter whose nametag read Nqobile Ngcobo looked annoyed and force a Sawbona (Hellow) at me, I paused for a moment trying gauge the situation and she again looked at me with a straight face and said Sawbona. Her body was stiff her mood was tense and she was forcing me to greet her which imp**** she wouldn’t proceed with the order unless I backtrack and greet her by force. I said my Sawbona but now it was cold as I was annoyed by her arrogance and condescending attitude. I then asked for the manager Sanjay and alerted him of the situation, to which he deeply apologized for the lady’s behaviour and kindly asked her to apologize. The lady did not show any remorse and told her manager in the face that she will never apologize. That scene of insubordination left me with many questions about the way your establishment trains the staff. My mood for the night was ruined and so was my wife’s as all this transpired right in front of her. I was not going to report this incident by it kept bothering me as it might occur in the future to other clients. This can negatively effect your business if it has not already.
Supersonic is the worst internet service provider you will ever come across. They overcharged me by 3 months then they shut down my wifi and went MIA when i tried to contact them via phone/ whatsapp and facebook. I would advise against subscribing to their ****my wifi and if you are still with them switch before you regret it!
i opened an SMS portal account trying to advertise to my clients and purchased SMS yesterday on the 10th of October 2024 and they did not credit my account. This morning on the 11th of October 2024 they deactivate my account but did not issue a refund and said to contact my bank. How when you are the ones who took my money??? I would advise against using their service at it has poor way of dealing with clients and offer no help whatsoever
I bought a vehicle from We buy cars website on the 10th of february from Richmond branch and the salesman contacted me and we finalised the paperwork and also sent me an invoice for the delivery fee to their Pietermaritzburg branch which is nearer to me. Today is the 23rd of february and still the vehicle has not been delivered. My question is why allow sales to customers from other provinces when you cant deliver? The saddest part is that i have complained and no one attends to my complaint and even the sales man Mr Taswald Franz does not communicate. We buy cars has the worst after sales service on earth and i will be lucky if they deliver the vehicle in this lifetime.
I tried to sell my car to metro car sales and they say i should rather sell it provately and have them assist with finance applications. I found a buyer and they sent their documents to the dealership for finance application and got approved. The sales manager then told them to not buy my car and buy one of theirs instead. The buyer called and told me this ********* behaviour from the Metro Car Sales Manager Mr Elvis Naidoo. I went to the dealership to finalise the deal and Mr Naidoo started telling me they would add extra charges to the sale and vat had to be paid and other suspicious things that they never mentioned before the deal came to their table. I ended up cancelling the deal because of the shady behaviour. Be careful when dealing with Metro Car Sales.
I was very disappointed by the worst service I was subjected to at a DSTV Agency in Pietermaritzburg called Websat DSTV Agency. I had to take my frail granny to DSTV because her decoder had an issue, when I checked on google I noticed they had one on Greyling Street in town and on the website it said they close at 16:30. So I drove there and we arrived at 3pm and waited outside at 16 Degrees Celsius. They were only allowing 3 people inside which was odd because they had a lot of space. I went in and raised the issue that its cold outside and we have senior citizens in line which is unfair. They did not show any interest in what I said and ignored me. At 3:20 when it was my granny’s turn to go inside the tall Indian gentleman who worked there shut the door and said they were no longer taking any more customers. When I tried to point out that it is unfair and we had been waiting in line the Indian gentlemen shouted “I will f*cking knock your teeth in” and locked the door. Another African lady in a cream coat came to unlock the door to let a customer our and when we tried to raise our issue she ignored us and violently shut the door in front of us almost hitting my face. I never imagined DSTV customer service to be so violent and heartless. I had to drive my granny how without being helped and she has to spend another night with a broken DSTV and cant watch her favorite shows. Please attend to this issue because it seems like we are not the first dstv customers it has happened to and if it is left unattended we will not be the last.
I am a black business man making a living from selling wigs and hair extensions. Currently I was looking to expand my business by opening a hair boutique at my local mall which is LIBERTY MIDLANDS MALL. I emailed their leasing agent Sophia Naidoo and explained the nature of the business i was looking to open at their establishment and whether they had space for a tenant. The lady emailed me back saying the mall already has a tenant which already sells wigs (which i have never seen) and they do not want to take tenants in direct competition. The last time i checked Business IS competition and Liberty midlands mall has many businesses what are in direct competition, there is only so much you can sell at the end of the day. For example there are over 6 shops that repair phones that are consecutively allocated. There are also countless clothing shops and restaurants not to mention jewelery shops in the same Mall. The only unique shop they have is the Cinema and the Gambling establishment. From my perspective it is either the leasing agent has shares on the hair shop or is being prejudice against a young black man looking to expand his business. I further requested a documents which stipulates the leasing conditions of the mall and she claimed she was the only authority and that she has alerted other agents to not consider my proposal. That statement sounded personal and unprofessional coming from Ms Naidoo. If she has the sole authority to decide who can and cannot rent without any written mandate from management then it is very irresponsible of the Mall. This reminded me of the saying about our so called FREE and rainbow nation which is THERE IS NO BLACK IN RAINBOW.
I am very disappointed for the bad service I received from Garden City Motors Pietermaritzburg which claims to be a certified Merc dealership. I sent my car to them for a water leak and overheating repair. They booked it in then did diagnostics and called me with a quote for R34000. I gave the go ahead and then I never heard from them for 3 weeks, they never called to give me an update and when I called the dealership, I couldn’t get through to the service advisor responsible for liaising with me. I went to pick up my car and to my surprise it still had an engine light and was still needing water refills and on top of that my center console lid was broken and couldn’t close plus now it had an oil leak. My disappointment runs very deep and I don’t even thing I will ever send my other cars to them for repair since they displayed such incompetence and showed they are threat to the very cars they claim to repair. They must just shut down if they no longer know how to repair vehicles
Cinecentre Midlands Mall has the worst service is South Africa. It is unbelievable the high standard they hold themselves on when you compare it to their actual service! On the 11th of November 2022 i booked 6 tickets for my whole family to go and watch Black Panther: Wakanda Forever 3D. First of all their screens look poorly maintained as they have visible dirt spots on them that are very distracting when you are watching a movie. The most annoying part i discovered is that their movie projection is so blurry and low quality it was so hard to even see the faces of the characters during the movie. I did not keep quiet i went to one of their employees to ask if they could fix it and they never attended to me. This occurred twice. I then went to look for the manager who came with me and said they saw nothing wrong with the movie and this was a normal way to view it. I realised that this Cinema was a total scam because they were showing an international big budget movie in a low quality setting that was sad to even watch. i stuck around for an excruciating 3 hours watching blurry images on their broken screen and broken projector. They were able to turn a special family outing into a horrible one. Never go to any Cinecentre to watch a movie as they will just take your money and make you watch mediocre images on their outdated screens.
I have always had the dream of buying a lounge suit from Leather Gallery and this year i was able to fulfill it. I bought their expensive couches worth R63 000 and a mirror worth R10 000 plus on top of that a coffee table worth R10 000. I was happy when my furniture arrived and set up by their delivery team, it was the happiest day of my life. Later that day we found out that the 3 seater couch was had a broken foot, were too disappointed because we thought this furniture was high quality. We took picture and sent it to the sales person and they organize for the couch to be replaced the next day. That incident alone left doubts in me and my wife's head as we started to question the quality of Leather Gallery's exorbitantly priced furniture. The following week my 3 year old son was playing in the living room and sat on the marble table we bought from leather gallery and it broke into pieces. We were stunned as to how a small 3 year old has the weight to break a brand new thick marble table. Are they selling authentic quality products? are they taking mediocre fake products and passing them off as quality and putting a hefty price tag on them just to scam people? Anyway luckily we had a video of the incident and we sent it to the sales person to assist. Leather Gallery refused to replace it and they said we must pay R899 so they can put a glass top on the coffee table which we feel is unfair on our part. Why are they selling fake items in the first place? Why are they expecting customers to pay them more money for repairs after the customers had already spent close to R100K in their shop? Do they care about customers or just want to take their money and run? I will never trust this shop again ever in my life and i will neither make any future purchases from them nor recommend it to those close to me.
