These guys are the worst. They send you a "shipment scheduled for delivery today" message but do not arrive. They are very expensive but lack the capacity to deliver on time. If you don't want to deal with their nonsense, try other guys. 1 star is too much for them
I'm on prepaid. Recently they sent me sms threatening to block my sim card because my "phone is blacklisted" I just ignored them. They eventually blocked my sim. When I called, they didn't know why they had blocked me, so they didn't have a choice but to unblock. What a lousy bunch. Prepaid is king, u give me grief, I port to the next provider.
I am a Miway client for personal car insurance for a few years. Excellent service, good technology and immediate claims approval on their app. I have recently joined Iwyze business insurance. Five days after joining they have already debited me pro-rata, which is ok. The problem is I have not received my policy documents. I have called their call centre several times and send them emails via their website but nobody wants to send me these documents or update my phone number so I can register on their website to get those docs. IS THERE A COMPANY IN 2023 THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN APP? PATHETIC! Clearly their lower premiums are consistent with their poor service. I wonder the frustration one would experience if you have to claim. To hell with these guys, they can keep their policy docs! I'm switching my business insurance to Miway.
My contract is expiring in 2 months' time. I cant wait to cut all ties with this pathetic company but It is not clear how to exit the contract. This company has deliberately made the process difficult by making impossible the registration process on their website. It is very easy to sign up for their contract but impossible to get out. Has anyone managed to beat their foolish system?
I was recently notified by a credit bureau that Vodacom had made an enquiry on my credit profile. I have not app**** for any of their products but they feel entitled to access my credit info. Making too many enquiries gives an impression that one is always applying for credit and eventually reduces your credit score. Institutions that are supposed to protect consumers e.g. NCR, NCC, Credit Ombuds are toothless and have no skilled personnel to compel these corporates to obey the law. This ******** behavior by Vodacom and its partners must be condemned and exposed on all social media platforms.
I bought a car from this so-called best Mazda dealership in the country. I paid for registration and licensing, but they failed to register the car till the permit expired. I did the registration myself at my cost, now it is a mission to get a refund. The salesman Matthew simply ignores emails and WhatsApp messages. This very same Matthew was very responsive before my bank paid them. This is a huge dealership that can easily refund a mere R900 but they are simply refusing hoping I will eventually give up. This is ***** business practice. I have bought many cars previously, but this is the first time I encounter such ************* and ********* salesman. Guys please be careful of these supposedly best dealerships that fail to deliver as promised. But if you ever find yourself at that place, please avoid this salesman who just want to close your sale and then dumps you.
I'm starting to appreciate the importance of comparing prices before buying products, especially insurance. With the economy in the doldrums and companies offering 0% salary increases for the past 5 years, Discovery Medical Aid has the audacity to hike premiums by 8%. It's profit at all costs for these companies. Their alternative is for me to downgrade my plan so that I may run out of funds should I get sick. Last week they charged me R400 for the covid vaccine that the government was offering for free. I will not accept this extortion. It's time to switch.
I think we should have a rating of less than 1 star for companies such as this one. Just going through other people's review, I am not surprised that there is no response to all reviews. Just like for everything else in this country, no one takes responsibility but everyone takes the bonus. The Media is also not helping. The only thing they are reporting on such companies is their growing profits and huge bonuses, and not that these companies are extorting money from customers. There is a sense of hopelessness that comes across the many reviews here. I'm sure there is a government body that should be responsible for fixing this mess, but they are hiding behind red tape and their huge salaries. What do we do next?
I have both telkom prepaid sim and contract data sim cards in the same phone. I pay for 40 gigs monthly on contract that I can't use. The contract sim constantly has no access to internet thereby compelling me to I buy prepaid data which surprisingly always has access to internet. It is very clear what they are doing. This company has removed contact information from their website so that they do not have to deal with customer complaints. They keep selling these contracts they don't have capacity to fulfill. This is the very same old company that dismally failed on landlines and now their incompetence has grown up and graduated to mobile. There is absolutely no hope here. They don't care about criticism on this platform and social media. I will just cancel this mess and pay the the penalty than to spend another 12 months paying for garbage. No wonder they are hurriedly cashing out and selling this mess to their even more useless competitor
I emailed mtn in august about termination of my contract. They responded it will terminate end October. Now in November i get an invoice. They claim they've moved me to pre-paid, which is just nonsense. Pre-paid means you pay before use, so how do they invoice for a pre-paid? It appears these guys have come up with a formula to fleece money from clients after their contracts expire. I'm not sure what the NCC and the Ombuds are doing about this malpractice. I'm also not sure why mtn management is continuing to profit from this extortion. When a contract is done, it's done. Please stop these shenanigans!!!
