After being a client for years, this was very disappointing I needed to upgrade my phone, so called upgrades The operator confirmed there was stock of the device, we agreed my new package and within 15 or 20 minutes, we were done! With delivery confirmed in 2-5 working days. Well, 5 working days later, I get a text to say sorry device is out of stock So I called after sales support, who confirmed that there were no deliveries of the device in the future I am unclear who it goes from stock to delivery to out of stock for good. And Why Vodacom would lock me in for 36 months? I then had to track down stock. Spend another call to cancel the upgrade And then spend 1h40 minutes in store upgrading again Vodacom, this is shocking service from you and you should do better. 30 years as a client and this is what I get?
I logged a complaint on the Friday afternoon The CGSO followed up shortly thereafter On Monday, the supplier was in touch On Tuesday the supplier confirmed a replacement unit And this was after weeks! WEEKS! of trying to get a repaired or replaced unit and being faced with terrible lies I was super grateful to the CGSO for their intervention! And suggest we use this route for assistance!

This is a joint review on Defy and Barnards Repairs My dishwasher from Takealot has been faulty from day 1. Takealot don't care about problems once sold - go to Defy. Wish I'd known that! I registered the warranty with Defy and called to explain my problem - dishes were not drying Barnards repairs was the allocated agent to come and do the repair 1st technician - came with no parts. Next day replaced the motor - even I know a motor won't dry dishes! Called Barnards again, next agent comes to see the problem. Assures me it is the PC board and guess what - 7 to 14 days to repair that! WHAT?! By now, we are 2 weeks into this backwards and forwards process. Barnards decide to then fetch the machine on Friday with promises to return it by Tuesday Just ******* stories about testing and more testing and no feedback unless I stalk them Now, Wednesday, they have said they can't fix it. They need to write reports to Defy to support a 6 week old machine is broken. I've again asked for it to be returned - promises made it will be returned today. And it is now 5pm and it is not here So another wasted day of no dishwasher, no repair, no refund DEFY you should be ashamed sub contracting to a business this shoddy And you should be following up with your clients to see the status of their repairs. A brand new machine purchased on 23 August has never work.3 weeks of this nonsense with the contracted party. And who knows how many more days to go Shameful business practice from you both

Poor poor delivery and service Parcel collected Friday Since then it has bounced between PTA and JHB depots Delivery has been confirmed, then there is a problem Then confirmed, then a problem again Apparently now my address is the problem and it will be delivered on a day when nobody is home Agents just hang up on calls Agents on what's app just disconnect the chat Nobody takes any accountability for this matter SHOCKING
Worst ever courier Waiting 9 days for a parcel - I could have walked to the distributor quicker than this And when you phone they blame you for not answering the phone and actually lie when they say they have been phoning you for days - I specifically checked back and they only ever called yesterday! Absolutely the pits!
