Bought an external HDD - on a Black Friday special - and everything was working according to plan with the delivery - but as soon as it landed in South Africa and the custom tax was paid - it has taken over a week to get from Johannesburg to Durban for delivery - the company used is Speedaf - there are no slots on the website to make a complaint - you send emails the tracking email - not replies - I was given some cell phone numbers for Meili - the custom tax middle man - and they have tried - I saw a cell phone on one of the tracking emails - phoned that number - and he told me another guys was now delivering it. I have waited at home all day today - and still nothing at 4.45 pm
Standard Bank credit card division is VERY quick to write to you, phone you or hand you over when you are late with a payment - but when you are ahead of the payments - and ask them to please reduce your credit card limit - they conveniently forget you - or if they answer you and give you an email address to contact to change the limit - and then you never heard from them again. Trying to control and reduce the debt - but Standard Bank - the so-called, driving you forward, is not even driving right now - You tell me!!!!

I did not know that the image, the rules and the service at Wimpy had got so bad UNTIL today. Visited Davenport because we had no electricity at home - just wanted a cup of coffee, tea and a plate of chips. The order was placed - and took over 15 minutes before the coffee and tea arrived. Tea - ordered was Five Rose - and Rooibos arrived - sent it back - and the 2nd pot came again with Rooibos - and only the 3rd pot they got it right. I did not know the Wimpy allowed tagless teabags to be used ?? The milk arrived in a cracked jug. Then while waiting - 3 different groups came in with food and drink from outside - sat down - did order something but still started to eat and drink the non-Wimpy food and drink. With the problem with the tea - when the 3rd pot arrived - I asked for the manager - to which he did not come - even when I called again for him while paying. Told he is in a meeting. I asked about the customers bringing in food - the female waitron told me the one customer was a regular - it was OK what she was doing. Since my days as a manager at Wimpy - the level and standard has really dropped. I almost told them I am not paying because of the bad service. This happened about 13.30 - check the cameras ??? And to date there has been no response A really POOR show
I have written three times since receiving the SMS that Abacus was going to lapse my policy - they did not even phone me - or contact me via email ?? That is serious customer service to a policy holder for nearly 5 to 6 years now. Take your money but will not help ??? It seems you don`t want to answer - now I will take this to Hello Peter - Sending again because I have not heard back from you - BPI0022684 - FSP 52068 - SMS received stating no payments have been received policy lapsed. I have checked my banking schedule - to which a payment every month is done - but I do see that certain months it has not gone through. Payment dates - 3rd Dec - 3rd Sept - 12th August - 3rd July The months of Nov, Oct - were scheduled but did not go off my account. Please can you check - I can pay these 2 months - can`t lose this policy - and I will be checking with my bank why these 2 payments did not go through - thanks John Perfect
To all customers of Woolworths in the Musgrave Mall, Durban area - avoid - don`t go there because the security guard while checking a foreign Indian couple about the items of purchases - and I then suggested to him to take them off the floor and do the investigation in private - he turn agro toward me - asked if I was the security - and he told he can do whatever he likes to me - I told him to go for it - he ran to the cupboard got his baton - and threatened me - when I put my arm up - he jabbed at me - hit the point of his baton into my jaw. This is all on camera - I only made a suggestion - and he assaults me. Manager took my name and number - let us see how quick they deal with this. Well - Woolworths has lost a customer - and alot of other customers - won`t be coming after what the security guard did.
This morning wanted to log in - and I am told my profile has been disabled ?? For what reason I have not idea - so this morning I can`t do my banking ??? Serious
