Denis continues to provide terrible service to their Medical Aid clients. In this case Bonitas. It's time for Bonitas to get a new provider. Denying claims on basic dental procedures on full comprehensive cover using the excuse that it needed authorization. Then you ask for authorization and they say they can't do it until new regulations. In the meantime, my elderly mother must sit in terrible pain. Just for an extraction. Don't be fooled when they reply saying they will get in touch. The last time they said this, they were rude and dismissive.
Since Bonitas has subcontracted out to Denis for Dental Care, my mother has had endless problems. She has comprehensive cover, and she can't even get Denis to authorize a basic procedure. This is after Denis rejected a previous emergency procedure. Now my mother must sit in pain because she had to get authorization that the dentist says shouldn’t need authorization. Bonitas will reply to this will great earnestness about solving it but they lie. They won't take responsibility for Denis. Don't sign up with this medical aid.
Do not sign up to use their spaces. My mother in law signed up for a month to month contract. Then they started adding services she didn't ask for. She canceled before the end of the first month. But they are still billing her. That includes those extra services she didn't request. I'm telling everyone all the entrepreneurs in my network to avoid them.
If I could rate them -5 I would. They installed a month ago... zero support since. And what a mess the installation is. They put the solar panels in a position so it only gets sun at the end of the day. The left a mess of cables. And every day, the power trips. Tonight's it's tripped 4 x in one night. It doesn't matter whether we are using grid power or power from the battery. And they don't offer any support even though they promise it. Been waiting for a month for them to fix it
Best dentist ever. Every single person in their practice gives their best. I'm so glad I found them. I've had some serious work done and it was done with empathy and excellent care. I've had no problems since with their work.
This is a review on an experience a few years ago. They paid out in full after I broke my toe. I've stayed with them since. Premium increases have been minimal.
Do not sign up with Bonitas. They use the most terrible service called Denis to handle accounts. They have a 20% penalty fee of any resubmission of claims. You can end up paying a R1000 or R5000 for a claim they reject (a legitimate claim). They are rude, lazy and inefficient. It takes over an hour to get someone at the call centre. They are a nightmare. My mom had an emergency procedure and they denied her claim because it needed preauthorization. But it was an emergency. She is 86 years old. The emails they send are as if an AI bot has written it. They can't be understood. They don't read the emails you send to them either. Please please don't sign up with Bonitas
Please don't use them to handle your accounts. They are rude, lazy and inefficient. They make life very hard for your patients.
They don't honor their service plan. Do not buy a VW. They are refusing to service the car for its last service on a three year plan. We extended the plan when we bought it. What a mistake. 360 degrees opposite experience to Toyota. Don't buy VW.
FFW have been good to me over the years. They handled my claim without any issues, their roadside assist is efficient and their support team are accessible and eager to help.
