Absolutely shocking experience. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this one is well-deserved. I bought a 2019 Renault Clio from this dealership in February. Within 3 months, I reported a noisy timing chain – something that should’ve been picked up in the 90,000 km service (which, by the way, was never done until I brought the car back a week after purchase). After reporting the issue, I was ignored. I had to take the car to my own service provider, who confirmed the timing chain was worn and the turbo was overboosting. Only then did the dealership agree to inspect it. They kept the car for over a week, then claimed everything was fine — despite the same problem continuing. I brought it back again. This time they blamed the water pump and V-belt, and said I’d have to pay for those to be replaced before they’d investigate further. I didn’t agree with the diagnosis or the idea of paying for parts that weren’t the real issue. When they returned the car to me, the timing chain had collapsed and the turbo had seized – they didn’t even tell me. The next day, the car was completely undrivable. They took zero accountability, and now I’m left with R60,000 in damages for a car I’ve driven less than 5,000 km. Special mention to Jacques Van Den Berg – completely unhelpful and unsympathetic throughout. Avoid this place at all costs. Dishonest, careless, and not interested in standing behind the cars they sell.

We were thoroughly disappointed with our recent visit to Carnival City, which was supposed to be a celebratory evening for our wedding. Unfortunately, the venue was severely overcrowded with excessively intoxicated individuals. The atmosphere, which should have been family-friendly, resembled a chaotic party scene. My wife and I felt uncomfortable and unsafe, as we were followed and harassed by some of these individuals. The lack of intervention from security and staff was alarming, leaving us to fend for ourselves. To make matters worse, many of the arcade machines were out of order, further detracting from our experience. We strongly believe that a capacity limit should be enforced to prevent overcrowding and ensure a safer environment for all patrons. Our wedding evening, which we had looked forward to celebrating at Carnival City, was utterly ruined. We are extremely dissatisfied with the venue's management.
When you sign up, you get to choose between two options. A R50 bonus or 100% matching bonus. I chose the maching bonus and deposited R200. After depositing it, my initial deposit was no longer able to withdraw. Now that's not the issue. The issue is to wager your bonus. I went and did R250 bets like 20 times and I was still unable to withdraw. After all the bets I lost the money and my bonus wagering was only at 67%? This is rough. I mean how much money do you have to bet in order to wager your bonus??? With other casino's, if you get a bonus then you get to play with the bonus and still withdraw your own money that was initially deposited. Which makes it a nice and intriguing way to capture customers. This process with play has now just upset me and I'll never use it again. I was testing the waters as I gamble often and this was just a horrible experience. Another complaint. At one point I had R1067 or so in my balance. Then all of a sudden when I placed a R250 bet, my balanced dropped to R500 even before the roulette table started rolling. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS.
Sunbet slots are a joke! Honestly - I've played so many times and you can simply not win at all! The loss rate is probably 98%.
I HAVE PAID UP MY ACCOUNT A LONG TIME AGO. THEY ARE NOT UPDATING MY CREDIT SCORE AND JUST IGNORING MY REQUESTS. I CAN NOT RENT A PLACE TO STAY AND I CAN'T GET A NEW CAR BECAUSE OF THIS STUPID THING THEY HAVE ON MY NAME AT THE CREDIT BEREU WHICH HAS BEEN PAID OFF A LONG TIME AGO. CELL C HAS THE MOST DISGUSTING SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN. I WILL NOT RECCOMEND THEM AT ALL. YOUR COMPETITORS DO IT BETTER!
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They simply do not care about you as a customer. My issue has not been resolved since two weeks ago.
