Perhaps it was my bad luck that i had a not-so-great experience. The salon is busy all the time. This is a good sign but here's why my experience was poor - the nail tech had a challenge with doing French gel nails and took a longer time as she had to keep doing corrections. The result was not-so-great and one of the nail tips starting lifting within a week. There are not enough driers for each chair so they have to keep hunting around for one to become available. The nail techs do not take pride in their own nails - my nail tech's nails were chewed on and dirty, The ladies on either side did not have presentable nails. Body odour and bad breath are also important personal hygiene matters especially given the proximity of nail tech to customer and neighbouring chairs. BOA, may i suggest that you train up all the nail techs adequately, let them use the products as their nails are a means of advertising too, get a drier per chair, and be more responsive on the Whatsapp channel. The big positive is the pricing is reasonable and the salon is neat, clean and very pretty.
The last few reviews for this company follow a trend, all 5 star ratings on the same day around the same time. (two of these have been removed by HelloPeter as I reported them for being written by employees who I could identify from my comms, I have proof). Chosen through our Insurer, our experience with Mr Plumb was very disappointing and we ended up having to go with an alternate contractor because of the lack of service delivery. We would definitely not recommend Mr Plumb to anyone.
First time doing the picnic at Groot Constantia (Simons Restaurant). Beautiful place and the weather was stunning. Room for improvement: We initially received the incorrect box but had a short wait whilst it was repacked. Dessert was disappointing, 4 tartlets of which the base had softened and become stale. The kids box looked poorly. A yoghurt cup, a cheese bun, a paper bag of chicken strips, packet of NikNaks, packet of sweets and a golden delicious apple that was brown and soft. Please take more care with presentation and contents of the kiddies box. In the cutlery box at our setting, there were dirty forks, likely used by the last guests and left back in the box. Our picnic was prepaid. We received a service fee of R84 on our drinks bill of R100. The pro's: The setting is beautiful and there are ample blankets as well as tables. Well behaved doggos are welcome. The Double box for the adults contained some great offerings (charcuterie selection on top, delicious coronation chicken and salads at the base. The price for the picnic is fantastic. Drinks are sold separately and are reasonably priced. The waitstaff are fantastic.
Ten stars for Carpet Flair! If they are appointed by your insurer, you are in great hands. Glenn, Cathy, and the team are personal, professional, and lightning-fast. We couldn't be happier with the results. Highly recommended!
Exceptional employees who genuinely go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and cared for. An extremely pleasant experience from the first consultation phone call (where the procedure was explained in detail) right up to after the infusion was done.
5 stars for ease of use of the website, for quick and pleasant response when I enquired about my order, for fast turn around and for the most beautiful photobook. Will definitely order again!
Dr Jessica Paul, Intercare Milnerton, is amazing. No rushing, she takes her time to explain and her checks are thorough. She demonstrates genuine concern for patients. What a gem!
Cape Town branch. Brandlin and team, Super humble and accommodating. Premises is spotless. May your business be blessed abundantly.
Awful service They don't answer their emails The phone line quoted on the voucher did not work Vouchers are only valid for a year and there are never appointments available in the western cape due to Cullinan having been closed for renovations The website is a nightmare to navigate as vouchers reflect as invalid. The website could do with a refresh as well (old info referenced) Appointments reflect as open but upon calling, you are advised that they are fully booked.
Basing my experience on my last visit which was enough to mar my view of the particular branch. Firstly signage is poor, sale signs are misaligned with the actual products on sale. None of the prices post discount being app**** are reflected so you have to do some math or ask the employee. And that was where my issue started as I guess the male employee was peeved by me asking. He then demonstrated pure irriration at every exchange. In the market for a leather weekender bag and more so because there was one significantly reduced, His foul attitude turned me and likely many before me away.
