Formal Public Statement Public Notice Regarding My Experience With MaxLaw Credit Legal I am issuing this statement to document my personal experience with MaxLaw Credit Legal and to inform other consumers who may be considering engaging with this company. I approved a DebiCheck mandate presented by MaxLaw Credit Legal. Prior to approving the mandate, I was informed that I would receive a full credit report, a credit assessment, and further guidance regarding my financial position. After the mandate was approved, I received one phone call requesting that I sign a power of attorney authorising them to act on my behalf. When I requested clarity on the nature and scope of the services they intended to provide, communication from the company ceased. Despite multiple written and verbal requests, I did not receive: • The promised credit report • The promised credit assessment • Any form of follow up communication • Confirmation of cancellation of the debit order I also requested that the debit order be cancelled due to non delivery of services. This request was ignored, and the debit order was processed against my account regardless. My statements are based solely on my own documented experience, supported by my communication records and bank statements. I have since discovered that numerous other consumers have reported similar experiences, which raises broader concerns about the company’s conduct. In my opinion, the pattern of non delivery and lack of communication is deeply concerning and warrants caution from the public. I am sharing this information in good faith, in the public interest, and without malice, so that other consumers can make informed decisions. I reserve all my rights in this matter.
I have paid twice in one month just to keep going other wise i cant work ive complained countless times i still get a message saying i havnt paid this is unacceptable for a company of this stature
This company debited my account without providing any kind of service
******** debit my account and no service was provided don't use or engage with this company
Receiving 5 to 6 call per day regarding my account telling me I am in arrears but the have not allocated 2 payments I have sent multiple emails showing the payments
Subject: Formal Notice – Harassment and ******** Communication Dear Brooks and Luyt Attorneys, I refer to the repeated telephone calls made to me on 20 February 2026, including seven calls at approximately 20:35, as well as calls made to my place of employment. I have already spoken to one of your representatives regarding this matter. Despite this, your office continues to contact me excessively and after business hours. This conduct constitutes harassment. You are hereby instructed to: Cease all telephonic contact with me. Cease contacting me at my place of employment. Direct all further communication to me in writing only. Please note that continued harassment will result in formal complaints being lodged with the Council for Debt Collectors and the Legal Practice Council without further notice. Furthermore, any threats of repossession without a court order are ******** and misleading. Kindly confirm whether legal proceedings have formally been instituted and provide written proof thereof. Govern yourselves accordingly.
Harassment at my place of business even after I have committed to a payment arrangement they still contact me continually and at my work when I mentioned that they can't contact me at work the woman said they will contact me were ever they feel like it even went as far as saying when u put the phone down we will call you again and there is nothing you can do about it. Very disappointed, signed up for the mobile plan, and I can't even watch a single movie, keeps bufferin,g and the download isn't even working i want a refund
KFC Rooihuiskraal bought 2 all star boxes from them when I opened the box it looked like someone had drop the burger on the floor and then put it in the box it was terrible very bad food quality they are there only to recycle clients as quickly as possible regardless of the quality of the food I have had a few issues with this store I have complained before KFC never even bothered getting back to me
Contacting and harassing me at work I am paying what I am able to pay
