I went to John Dory' Vaal Mall with my family on 07 Aug Friday evening and we were turned away 65min before closing time arrived at 20:50 the Manager told that they are no longer serving any customers even though on Google the closing time showed 22:00pm and the door were still open. The Manager David gave lousy excuse saying on days that its quite they stop serving food early my question is why not stipulate so customers know before driving to ypur restaurant very unprofessional. Ic never experienced such from a reputable family restaurant 😕
I bought chicken at Checkers Horizon roodepoort 16.06.2025. The best before date was 18.06.2025 when I got home to cool the chicken it had such a foul smell, very disgusting and alarming especially for checkers they don't prioritize health and safety as the fridges also had a foul smell. The store is not up to standards with regards to cleanliness. I took the chicken back and told them I needed a refund and they need ro replace my petrol money as this was an inconvenience for me. To my surprise they did such a back and forth with giving me my petrol money when I I had to the store twice that day and obviously could not cook for my family ad planned I'm really disgusted by the management and how they handle customers.
I canceled my Bidvest insurance extended warranty policy as I was not happy with how they communicate and their customer service . They have no sense of urgency and no respect for their clients they don't even bother to give you a response when they reject your claim had ti chase for a response received after 2 weeks insteadof there 48hrs promise. After I canceled I have been waiting for my refund as I had paid premiums for 2 years. My cancellation was done 2 weeks ago and was told that my refund would be paid in 72 hours another week has gone by and still I have not received my money. They keep saying they will call and send me a proof of payment. I urge anyone who has an insurance with them to reconsider because if they can not assist you speedily with small claims imagine the big claims. And bad communication and false promises
We hired Inyati to do borehole drilling they did a Geo survey and advised us to drill min 60m and Max 130m. They Didn't get to any water, after drilling up to 120m and after spending money with 0 results. The area does have water as tgere are other boreholes so it seems tge surveyor didn't do the riggr thing especially having drilled that far and no one advising that we should stop cause there isn't water. The manager was sent to site after we had expressed our disappointment and we wanted a solution. The fut was very rude and no one wants to take a y accountability now they're not even taking our calls. This is poor workmanship and ********* business practices
We bought a canopy at Beekman Krugersdorp when we went to enquire for the 1st time if they sell second hand canopies they said they don't as it's too risky for them and gave us a whole lot of scenarios advising us why it's not ideal to buy a secondhand canopy. We then made a decision to buy a brand new canopy which was over my budget. This morning we went collect the conopy and we were kept waiting for 5 hours as the sales guy Mathew claimed there was a small bubble that needed to be fixed. 5 hours later they fitted canopy and after fittings we checked and saw that 1st of all this canopy was not new its a second hand canopy at!! secondly it has dents and scratches and dirty and they claimed this come from their Cape town Warehouse. We were mislead and **** to by Mattew. We had to get angry and tell him that we will not accept this for him to admit this was not right even when he saw this and then he started trying to resolve it. I feel that this is the service that black people will receive in an Afrikaaner owned business and area. If we hadn't complained he would have let us drive out of that shipment centre this this awful bad quality product without having said anything about it. We paid for something brand new and we were de*****ed shame on you
I submitted a revision of Assessment in 2021 and and until now it hasn't been resolved I've followed-up sent complaints and gone up and down the Labour Centres. We are already struggling as small businesses in south africa and when we get opportunities we can even comply because because in the government entities do not do the job.
I have a debit orde which the dispute was resolved successfulland the funds were supposed to be refunded into my business account within 5 working days. It's gone past day 7 and FNB hasn't refunded me the funds and no one can help I keep calling non of the consultants seem to know what's going on. I even spoke to the chanel manager Sbusiso Cele who tried to assist and pushed rhe managers to call me to resolve this. One of the Mangers Kendall called he said hus escalating and he will sort it out soon. I thought they would resolve this immediately given that they mislead me az a customer and went over the turn around time but I'm still waiting as this hasn't been resolved yet..FNB is very incompetent especially its business telephone consultants no sense of urgency what so ever and are making us small businesses suffer even worse when loading shedding is already taking a toll on our businesses.
