OMW, where do I begin? My 81 year old mum and I have been to pillar and post and still not assisted. Her Postbank card where she receives her sassa pension into was *****ulently used by someone. When I tried to draw her money for her, the card kept saying declined. This happened for three months. On eventually calling Postbank we were advised to go to Sassa. I eventually got a statement from Postbank, opened a ***** case and went to Sassa on a Wednesday. I took the day off so I can sort this problem out only to find out when we get there that old age grants are only dealt with on a Monday and Friday. I had to go bank home. Back to Sassa tomorrow but the frustrating thing is that everytime you call them and explain the problem, you get told a different story everytime. Between Postbank, Sassa and the police station you run around like crazy. Now imagine an 81 year old having to sort this out in this frustrating process of you can call it that. I am beyond angry and disgusted by the service we provide to thw public. Why isn't all this communicated properly on the website and media. Why is it so difficult to solve a problem with government departments. Lack of communication and bad service is a norm it seems.
If anyone is applying for a sassa pension, don't choose to use the postbank card. Rather opt for the money to be paid out into your bank account. What a nightmare my 81 year old mum is going through. Some unknown person has *****ulently used her details and withdrew her money for 3 months now. We have been pillar and post trying to stop the card, report a ***** case and get sassa to change to using a bank account. What a painful experience for an 81 year old. First to find out some unknown person has withdrawn your money while you sit with the card at home. Then trying to get in contact with postbank to get a statement. Worse nightmare ever. They don't have a physical office and I struggled to get through their call Centre number. Then it was a mission and a half to get the statement. Finally got the statement after having to speak to a manager and losing my temper. Word of advise, use your bank account. There is just so much ***** out there. Unbelievable
I am so frustrated with this entity. I have been trying to unsubscribe from receiving emails from this entity but unable to. First they asked for proof of emails which was given then for login details which I don't even remember. They can't just stop the emails. Unbelievable.
In August 2025, I bought 1kg Kashmiri extra special masala. I only only it in the beginning of Sep 2025, when I discovered that the masala gave the curries a distinct sour taste. At first I thought it was just me, then used it again to cook another curry and discovered the same sour taste. I called Gorimas Sandton to explain my issue and was told that someone will call me the following Tuesday. To date, no call back, it's been 3 weeks. Also the person refused for me to bring in the masala so they can test it and said must wait for someone to call me. I explained that Sandton is out of the way but I had time that weekend to drop it off, she refused. I also advised that I usually buy from Gorimas at the Glen and never had a problem. I am so heartsore that Gorimas Sandton couldn't care less for a customer who has been purchasing from them for over 7 years now. So disappointing. They didn't have the decency to call me or even offer a replacement for the masala.
I love Temu. They are fabulous. Deliveries are always on time and never had an issue with the quality of a product. There was one parcel that I didn't receive, they sent an email to enquire if I still wanted the parcel or want to cancel. I cancelled and got my refund the same day.
I placed and paid for an order with Shein on 16 March 2025. First, got an email to say that the parcel will be delayed because there is an increase in orders. On 26 Mar, received an email to pay Customs duties, paid immediately because I needed the parcel by 31 Mar. Guess what, haven't received my parcel as yet. Called the delivery agent, Imile Delivery and every time I am given a different story. This was my first purchase with Shein and a horrible experience. I ordered clothing for a function but had no clothes for the function on the 31 Mar. The delivery agent is not even saying that they will get it delivered ASAP, just have to wait out the process again. Very disappointing for my first purchase. I was planning on buying alot more but with this experience, I'm sceptical.
My review relates to the Shein giveaway packages on Instagram for a minimum amount. So, I was skeptical about this but looked at reviews and people were commenting about how lovely their surprise packages were. So I decided to give it a try, made the payment but not receiving the package. You give them all your delivery details but you keep getting sms from delivery companies and when you go into those links, asks you to pay a delivery fee. I was stupid enough to make the delivery payment but then the site just blocked. I actually got sms from different delivery companies which should have raised my suspicion already. No confirmation of delivery still. I was so excited about getting this surprise package. Well, I was surprised all right, package not arriving in this lifetime. These things are all a ****.
We absolutely love Temu. Temu has everything you need any of time. Temu is extremely efficient. We were so amazed at how fast our order was delivered. Will definitely recommend to anyone.
This company is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Second year using them for my son's school textbooks. Had an issue with purchasing a wrong textbook.
