I insured my laptop in August, and then it got ****** on 15 November 2025. When I claimed I am told that the event occurred within 3 months waiting period. This is nonsense and unacceptable. How do you impose a waiting period for an item like a laptop? And why didn't they tell me when I took this policy ? I want all my premiums that I paid to date, this is ridiculous. If you say it's within 3 months, didn't you collect 3 premiums from me already? I will be going to the ombudsman
We are have no network in orange farm since on Sunday the 23/11/2025. Nobody is doing anything about it,no communication. We paid for 30 days,what happens to the 3 days where we couldn't use the internet. This is affecting our jobs as we work from home because we now have to go look for alternative connection while we paid for a month's internet. The service there is deteriorating at a very high speed, no sense of urgency for there customers, this is not my complaint and nobody ever came back to me on my 1st complaint, this is how little they think of people that pay them
I ordered a laptop in the UAE and DHL was appointed, from the onset there was delays with my shipment when it arrived in Johannesburg, meaning they knew that they damaged my device. It was eventually delivered after a week of back and forth, RAM was the third party appointed by them to deliver my device. The screen was completely shattered upon arrival. I logged a claim with dhl because they were appointed to deliver this. I am now being told unclear stories apparently I have to log a claim with dhl UAE, which is confusing. It gets more confusing because I'm not even given more information on who to contact, I'm just told this nonsense. And must I be the one to log this claim? Is dhl south africa and dhl UAE not the same company? And did I damage my laptop? I want this claim resolved ASAP, am I being taken advantage of here? You will fix my laptop ,and you will do it quickly. Otherwise I am taking this across all social media platforms
They increased their prices without prior notice. I only found out at payment stage. When I ask why we were not told that there will be a price change the consultant tells me that it is a prepaid service so it was up to me continue with a payment or not. That was the most ridiculous answer I got from a company that I'm a customer to. What is this,a take it or leave it kind of business? Is that how we are seen at this company, just numbers that add to their revenue? When we raise concerns we get this nonsensical attitude and not an apology
My son is an NSFAS beneficiary who app**** for accommodation on the NSFAS portal at SIXTH ON STATION in East london. It was approved and we even sent an email to Glenda, who advised that a room number will be sent on monday 20/01/2025. I followed up today and there was no response. when we checked the portal we found that the application was cancelled. we did everything on the 15th after my son registered at Walter Sisulu university, we then relaxed because we thought that accommodation is sorted out. if we did not check with NSFAS what was going to happen to my son ? He will be travelling from Johannesburg to east london we do not know anyone there, but you treat us this way. Or priority goes to students who will be paying for their accommodation? if so why are you with NSFAS? this very unacceptable and very unprofessional, and very *********. why accept the application and then cancel it without communication?
I have been trying to link my new phone since Tuesday without success. I am prompted to link it with a selfie,but I get an error everything. All my selfies are clear,but somehow your system doesn't allow them. I am unable to transact because of this inconvenience. You will need to link my device using another way because I cannot go on like this. My camera is clear, which means it's your selfie system that is not working and it is not my problem. You must give me access today otherwise I am closing this account an moving my salary to another bank with less hassles
These people implement a 5 hour outage every second day in orange farm. I am one of the people that buy their expensive electricity in the area but I am always in the dark. This cannot go on, I think the community will have to come together and take the law into our own hands,we can't be played like this
I had never seen such a service.my meter was replaced on 25 April 2024, I had over 400 units in my meter,and I was promised that my units will be returned, to date nothing has been done,I have sent them numerous emails and I lost count. I am asking myself what people who work there are doing the whole day,if a query takes 2 months to resolve. This proves how useless government sectors are.Thwy are quick to hike electricity prices,and then take our electricity,I am unemployed and I survive on selling food,now I had to take my profits again to buy electricity because this company does not want to return what's due to me.
I bought a solar system in 2021 because I did not have electricity.I was told that it is a 2.4kw solar system and it will run a tv,lights,charge phones,laptop,decoder and all other small things, also a fridge during the day. The thing was installed in August, It worked without problems,then in October we had electricity,so it only worked full-time for 2 months, from October we were alternating it with electricity when there is load shedding.in the early months of 2022, I haven't even used it for 1 year, it started giving problems,it only worked properly when there is a sun, during cloudy weathers and at night it would die within 2 hours.I complained to the company and they took it, and said they are going to replace batteries,returned it after 2 days. I used it for about 2 months,then it was back to square 1,the thing died within an hour when there's no sun.I complained again and they sent technicians,who told me that the battery life is only 1 year. This is the information that I wasn't given when I made the purchase,it was only given when there was a problem, and the system cost about R30000. It is still not working currently,the useless system only works until 5pm, after that I have to switch off the tv,I can't even charge a phone, I can only plug a router so I am not bored,but even so,it only lasts 2 hours or less with a router only.this was a complete *******,and I also found out from 3 of our family friends that theirs is also useless,only lasts minutes. So our money was taken by this company and we were sold **** systems because we are black people who stay in the poor township of orange farm and we know nothing about solar system.one of the people complaining about the system is an elderly person who's on her retirement.we spent money on this thing to make out life easier,turns out we just threw our hard earned money away. ********* company sold us an unreliable system. I am even wondering if this thing was approved by the relevant authorities before being sold,I need to find that out. I am advising everyone out there to never buy solar system from this company.you will regret it after a few months. This is a most ********* company I have ever seen. Funny enough, people who installed for me all resigned shortly after doing the Installation,which is alarming.but I repeat,do not buy your solar system from invest solar
I wanted to make a bet online. I deposited R20 on Saturday using OZOW, which is one of their payment options. The R20 did not get credited immediately,but my bank did charge me for an immediate payment.I tried to get them to allocate this,I sent them a proof of payment twice already, but I have been getting nonsense feedback. I get a different reference each time I follow up, but there is no action.this is an absolute poor service I have ever seen, if they are struggling to allocate a stupid R20, what happens to those who want to claims thousands that they have won? I have used OZOW when making online payments with other merchants,the funds are always processed immediately,but it's a different story with this one,it looks like people who work there don't know what they are doing.
