I see now that multiple people have reviewed BASH as shocking. I am trying to return shoes purchased that are too small.. I received an email saying that they had made "multiple attempts" to collect the shoes - what utter nonsense I did not even receive a phone call. I think this is there way of avoiding returns. I will never support this business again.
Utterly non existent service. Multiple emails and phone calls to no avail. Astounding that Xolani the sales rep and Wilma in accounts between the two of them are unable to respond to email or phone messages. This is the last time I will ever use this service provider.
I purchased Soundcore by Anker Life Note 3i Earbuds. After 2.5 months the left earbud packed in. We tried everything but it would not connect to any device. Nor would it charge. I returned to Takealot MRRN-D7X4M-ERP4 requesting a refund. Two weeks later I receive the Earbuds back - the same pair. No explanation, no repair, no refund. I have emailed customer service. Crickets. If Takealot will not honor warrantees for electronic goods they can be sure they will very rapidly lose market share.. Shocking service. And zero explanation.
I would give it a zero if I could - Ordered something 8 days ago which has apparently been on its way since. I do not live in Antartica but in Hillcrest KZN. No help from the complaints department. Shocking service - it was billed to arrive in 2 days. What a joke. I will be insisting on a refund and supporting another retail outlet that actually provides a service.
A pity they don't pay attention to returns the way they do to orders. Logged a return on the 19th January, and 04 Feb still waiting for it to be collected. The email address supp**** on the 'logged return' email they sent is incorrect! Definitely won't order ANYTHING from Makro again that might go faulty or require returning. Shocking service.
We have had FNB as our Business Bank for years. The only reason we stay is the complexity of changing banks. We have had nothing but shocking service. Emails ignored, account bank cards not issued when requested, taking a month to open a new account!! the list goes on. Rajesh Singh at Musgrave Branch is currently meant to be our point person - hopeless service. They add nothing but more work to the already over subscribed plate of a Director in the Non Profit Sector..
The Toyota brand will take a hammering with their Innovation Group partnership: I been trying for THREE months to get them to transfer the extended warrantee on my Cruiser from its previous owner to me. Three months. Multiple emails, multiple calls to the call centre. Absolutely zero response or follow up. Shocking service, and enough to make me think twice about ever buying another Toyota if the warrantee back up is this bad

It seems from other reviews Takelot is going down hill. So sad was my go to shopping for years and deliveries so reliable. Last few weeks I have been waiting for three orders that are scheduled for delivery that day then repeatedly rescheduled. I have even had one now returned to the warehouse. The reason for the delay is frequently stated as that they tried to deliver but couldn’t - but there is someone permanently on the property and other deliveries get here every time. Two of the three orders I needed rapidly and this is exactly why I ordered from Takealot. My advice is CHANGE TO ANOTHER ONLINE STORE LIKE LOOT OR BUY DIRECT - DONT USE TAKEALOT ANYMORE. They are not longer reliable
