We have reported two Telkom poles on our property on the 9th of February 2026. One is rotten and the other one is virtually falling over and has broken our boundary wall. They arrived on the 15th of February 2026, assess the problem, promised to come back on the 16th, but they did not arrive. They arrived on Tuesday the 17th late in the afternoon and dropped off 2 wet Bitumen poles on our lawn. These poles were just treated with Bitumen and very wet. They put these poles on our grass and promised to come back on the 18th. It is the 23rd today and we are still waiting for them. Our grass are getting damaged, are most probably dead by now and our sinuses are acting up due to the smell of the Bitumen. They arrived on the 24th of February 2026. They replaced one of the poles. They planted the second pole and then told us that they have an urgent job they have to attend to and that they will come back to finish the job. They left everything as is. They haven't returned as yet. When we asked them who is responsible for fixing the boundary wall we were told that we have to claim the damage from our insurer. It is totally ridiculous. We would not recommend them to our worst enemy.
We had the unfortunate experience of purchasing 25 square meters of instant lawn from this business. The quality was really, really bad. The soil was so dry under the lawn, as you picked up a strip the soil crumbled so you were left with a piece of loose lawn. So, we actually bough more soil than instant lawn. Most of the rolls weren't rolls, just small pieces of grass & sand. We were also informed that the lawn was supposed to be "Buffalo" however when we uploaded a photo to ChatGPT which is a AI app, we were informed that this was definitely not "Buffalo strain" but that it was "Kikuyu strain", which we didn't want. This whole episode left us very disappointed. Our recommendation to potential buyers from this company is to make 100% sure that you get what you buy, even if it means driving to the farm and look at the instant lawn before collecting.
Purchased a Beyer Multimeter dt8300 from cash crusaders in Shelly Beach .First of all they claim that the item was checked before leaving their premises, this is blatantly false as the pack is sealed and they did not open it for inspection. This product did not work and basically fell apart when I opened the sealed package . The readings were incorrect and the negative prong fell apart. I returned the item on the 11 July 2025 and the Manager of the store informed me that they have to send the item back to their supplier and it would take a one week to have it fixed and returned to me. After 1 week I approached the Shelly Beach store and they told me that it will take up to 3 weeks, this is contrary to what the Manager told me . To date I have heard nothing from them. The service as extremely bad and the product they sell is absolute *******!!!!!!!
I have been using their " Raid Mosquito Mats" for 2 years and out of all the anti-mosquito mats I had found theirs to be the best. However the last 2 batches are completely useless. It seems to me that they have changed their formula or have thinned down the contents . This is very disappointing as I tried the Peaceful Sleep Mats as an alternative but they are even worse.
Their "Peaceful Sleep" Mosquito Mats are absolutely a waste of money! This is the third time I have tried these Mosquito mats and I find them completely ineffective. In fact when one inserts one of their Mosquito mats into the heater panel the Mosquitoes think it's time for them to come out and play! Maybe they were good at some stage but not anymore. We purchased a ET300 gate motor 3 years ago and since installation we have had nothing but problem after problem. If its not the control card that has to be reset its the battery that has to be replaced. Since these gate motors run off a 24 volt battery they are expensive to replace and not easily available. Now they tell me that with the last episode I would have to replace the control card and the transformer plug and of course another new battery!!!!!!!! The cost of R2500!!!! I would not recommend this absolute ******* of a gate motor to anyone!!
We ordered the Solar Alarm Lamp and we received the unit within 24 hours which is exceptional service. We were unable to get the remote paired with the unit and a replacement unit was also send to us within 24 hours already paired. Service like this is really excellent and we are very grateful for the replacement unit. We highly recommend My Kleine Winkel.
They used to be one of the best service providers in S.A. However since the pandemic their customer service has become virtually NIL.You cannot send them a e-mail or phone them because that is so yesteryear according to them!!!!!! The only way you are able to contact them is via whats app and that can take the whole day and if you are lucky enough to get one of their bots/person you will probably be told they will get back to you because they do not have the knowledge to give you a answer!!! Pathetic Service!!!!!!
On the 11th of July I reported a problem with the Standard Bank ATM machine outside Spar in Uvongo KZN. I am very happy to say that the problem was sorted out and my faith has been restored with Standard Bank. My Big thanks to all the Resolution Consultants that assisted me at this time, I really appreciate it. We tend to complain but we do not say thank you enough when they go out of their way to solve our problems.
