I had the fish burger here and it was delicious!! The place was busy with moms and dads watching the regatta but we managed to find a table to eat from. Service was great and the toilets nice and clean. It’s always a pleasure coming to eat here. One point to notice is the parking needs to be upgraded as after the rain it was one slushy mess!!
Had a cappuccino and sandwich, super greasy and unhealthy. Made me sick like always. Also, the staff were helpful at least. The lady by the counter (didn't get her name, white lady if that helps in East London. Shocker, right?) actually got me get out of a bind by connecting me to her WiFi so I can book an Uber for the airport. I was getting rather despondent with my Telkom signal until she helped me. I give 3 stars to Wimpy but 5 to her. I wish that that I could better commend her!
I will list my points. 1.Definitely enclosure improvements 2.Animals are in good condition 3. Unfortunately not many animals to see but the main ones are there. 4. Children's play area is well maintained 5. Unfortunately the train was not active nor were the boat rides Although there were some let downs, it's a great place to spend the day. Take a picnic basket and a blanket and enjoy lunch while the kids play.
I wish that I found them sooner. I would recommend this to everyone. I got this and got rid of my Vodacum hot spot for way too much per month for barely 5G of data. Now I can use a Telkom mobile sim 15gb for calling, texting and web as well as a hot spot with more data for a lot less when considering what I get. Its just absolutely loving awesome and I get to roam on Vodacom which is what is best in my area still. Thank you openweb.
It's always a delight to shop in this butchery. The place is neat and the staff are mostly friendly. The gentlemen working in the butchery section are very proactive and always ask customers if they have been served. At least they do every time that I stop buy which is twice a month. Anyway, you can see they enjoy their jobs!
Their coffee is one of the best in the country as are their pies! The deli is just delicious. There is no wifi, but a beautiful meeting area outside makes this place an ideal spot too stop when going on road trips from Durban to Joburg.
This sector of the government is the most revolting company possibly in the country which says a lot, and I pray every day that it will hurry up and go bankrupt. They sent me a final notice 1 month after they received a registered letter. I drove an hour there and back to be told they had returned it. I am expecting a small parcel from China which has been at the Pinetown post office since the 16th Jan 2023. I found it was there by tracing it on a global tracing site as their does not work now. I now have to drive the hour again just to pay them for the pleasure of collecting an item that has my HOME address on it. Please lord help us from this rubbish. I know that there is no god, but I am desperate for their failure.
The cost of living has risen significantly. It’s become a very dangerous place to work because they tend to cut corners due to staffing issues. It’s not just about money at this point. It’s how managers treat staff. Coke doesn’t listen to complaints & sweep it under the rug. It’s physically & mentally draining and very Irritating. That is a problem because there are some really enjoyable aspects of working for them in the branch that I did... it was my dream job coming out of uni as a systems engineer, but I have to draw a line.
I had several issues with my service over the past month. I know that it wasnt their fault, but I had a technical issue and another (odd) issue that stemmed from what I was told by a different service representative. A technical issue I was able to take care, that was my own hardware that caused the issue. The other issue came to be after two representatives told me two different things because of a misunderstanding. One of the representatives I think misdiganosed the problem. They couldn't fix the issue and told me wrong information made everything worse. They might have been new, I do not know. I was then lucky enough to speak with a rep. She was an absolute delight to email. Yes, that's easy to say because she was able to fix my issue, but she was genuinely excited to help me out it felt like. She seemed to actully enjoy the work she does. I've worked in customer service for around 8 years at several different places and I can tell you for certain she is in the top 1% at what she does. Having someone who is knowledgeable at what they do, empathetic to people's issues, and genuinely happy to do it all is the rarest thing I've seen.
Non-existent service is putting it nicely. I tried all and any means of trying to get my issue resolved but they simply do not care as long as they are taking your money every month. The service is decent, but I cannot deal with their incompetent staff hired based only on their race who are completely incapable of handling the simplest of queries. I have already switched and will cancel my contract and just pay the godd*mn fees that I have to as soon as I get the chance because this is truly getting to be too much to handle.
