I bought sunglasses from Watch republic on 27 November, I then wrote an email to amend my address on the very same day, the email was aknowledged, stating that they will deliver it to the correct address. Since then they keep calling me to collect my item in Durban Amad I keep on telling them I’m in Rustenburg!! When I call watch republic they keep on transferring me to the next person until they hang up my calls. Very poor customer service
Today a debit a life insurance debit that I have no knowledge about went through from absa. I want that money returned to my account. I have a better life insurance elsewhere. I want my money now!!
I have been trying to call to cancel my car insurance since 17 January until today, 22 January 2025. The phone rings for 2 hours, without any available agents. I sent an email, only received a reference number, I’m still waiting. I am at an ABSA branch now, the phone has been on hold approximately 2 hours
I have a very good lending rate with Absa home loans, it is -0,25%. I have never missed a single payment of my bond or any other absa products because of my loyalty. However ABSA vehicle finance want to give me prime +4%, which puts me at 15.25% return rate. This is significantly high for someone with a good credit, with a bond at Absa to support the credit score/ record. Can ABSA kindly review this rate for me. It is way too high. My aim is to stick with one bank for all my products.
I made an order at 14:46pm only for them to cancel my order at 17:50 pm and that is after I lodged a complaint, reference: 5160035. My order number:134239063 The worst service ever, they cancelled the order so that I could not be credited for the late delivery. This is a bad service.
I want to cancel my debit order. I want now pay via EFT and money transfer. The agent who was assisting me told me it’s impossible to cancel a debit order. Very shocking, what kind of business is Normal Bissett is running. Daylight ******ion!! The lady was even shouting at me.
The worst home content insurance I have experienced. My home speaker fell and stopped working, malfunctioning. They came and collected my speaker and today told me it stopped working because it’s old, it’s battery issues. It’s just scratches they see. Was it supposed to open until we see the inside? This was not in my policy!! I’m telling all my friends and family about this bad experience/insurance!

I have been Banking with ABSA since 2008. I app**** for a Home loan. They gave me a prime rate +2.75% which would be 14.25% interest. Thanks to Nedbank, they gave me the Prime rate +0%. FNB also gave me a good deal prime rate -0.25%. Imagine banks that you don’t bank with come to your rescue with the most important loan of your life? I am leaving ABSA, together with my family and friends. A useless Bank. Paying off my loan and Credit card and I’m Gone. They will never see my penny ever Again!! Very disappointed!
