If I could give negative stars, I would. So I cancelled my service in October 2024. Ticket shows as COMPLETED (ticket SST486373). And got a threatening SMS today saying they confirm the account is cancelled (sms about 9 MONTHS after the fact) but a balance is owing. That after they forced through more debit orders, eventually forcing me to close my bank account to stop them *****ing my money. Now they threaten with final notice for payment, etc. Pathetic service, and I would steer everyone I know well clear of Super-Pathetic-Sonic.
A couple of years ago I was drowning in debt, with nowhere to go. Tried to raise money to try and cut some of the debt, with no success. Debt Busters was there to help. With their help and assistance, I managed to clear all my debt, while not having to try and borrow money to live every month. Signed up for 250/250Mbps. When they activated, max speed is 5/5Mbps. Been struggling with them for a week, and each day same excuse and request: "It's currently with tech team, we're looking at it. Please send screenshot of speed tests". I have sent NUMEROUS screenshots, with laptop even connected directly to the ONT. I am at wit's end with their support service (or rather lack thereof). So either they have to get their act together, or lose me as a customer.
Due to a prolonged power outage, my Lalela Inverter Trolley ran fully flat. When the power came back, there was a surge, which blew someting in the inverter. I use this machine to power my CPAP when we have extended power failures, so it is basically a life-saving device. I made contact with Lalela Retail (Lali Moodley) who told me to bring it in, and they will look at it. I took it in and within the same day they came back to me to tell me it has been repaired at no charge. This is above and beyond customer service, as the trolley is 2 years old and out of warranty. Thank you to the team at Lalela Retail for this!
Trying to change debit orderr, they messed up and ran debit order against old account. Costing me money. Trying to talk to an agent via Whatsapp. After 6 hours, get a message that they are now offline and I should try again tomorrow. Pathetic! I want to cancel, and they are trying to force me to stay on an additional month. Not acceptable!
Logged a request for contract upgrade. They promise 2 day turnaround time. More than a week has passed, nothing. Tickets logged: 71793973, 71874570, 71874321, 71874443.
I was under debt review. My account has been paid up, and ABSA now actually owes me money. I've been sending emails to close my account, and since 16 March 2023 when the first email was sent, I only received one response dated the same day, telling me my mail was forwarded to private bank dept. And since then I have sent follow-up emails, with ZERO response. Reference: ref:_00D1r1GluM._5005qNDLAd:ref Banking at it's best. ABSA, I want responses and I want my money.
I have downloaded the app, signed up with the OTP, all good. Then I got myself a nice little Android box for the TV. Since then, the whole login process is a total mess. I have tried now for 3 days to get an OTP, either via message or via call. Spent hours typing away in the helpline chat, to no avail. Uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted, everything. Re-requested via message. Requested via call. But no OTP forthcoming. No message, no call. There are easier ways to get a user to authenticate, if they paid attention to their customers. Feeling frustrated with the lack of service.
Wrong order delivered tonight, and driver left before I could confirm. Now to try and get my order back. Pathetic service from ASAP. I will delete the app and rather use their competitor, Sixty60. I did a comparison on tickets logged the past 2 years. 36 for ASAP and 1 for Sixty60. Pathetic service.
