I reported a *****ulent EFT of R5,500 to Standard Bank on 10 December 2025 (Case: 2025-957094348). The payment was made on 2 December 2025 for goods that were never delivered. A SAPS case was also opened (52/12/2025). Ten weeks later, I have received no response. Specifically, I have not been informed: When the recall request was sent to the receiving bank Whether the receiving bank responded Whether funds were still available at the time of recall What the final position of Standard Bank is regarding this matter It has now been over 10 weeks, and there has been a lack of transparency and communication throughout. As a long-standing client, I expected a clear process, at least 1 update, and a formal written outcome — especially in a ***** matter where time is critical. Despite multiple follow-ups, there has been a lack of transparency and meaningful communication.
This is a **** site: marlicapetown.com. The site is imitating the Marli New York site with exactly the same jewelry etc. There is no way to contact them and their tracking page is a ****, it doesn't do anything.
Don’t touch this company! You will pay for goods and never receive them. They are *****sters.
I'm sorry I don't have an option to give 0 stars. The move, from the very beginning, was a nightmare. They loaded me up at 9pm at night despite promising to be there by 7pm. The furniture was stuffed into two vehicles with mattresses on top and movers on top of mattresses! My fragile boxes, marked clearly on all 4 sides, arrived squashed and torn open. Needless to say the fragile goods were smashed. I am still missing boxes, which they claim they don't have. Strange that none of my pots and pans arrived, nor my silver dinnerware service. Note: there is no comeback in terms of insurance. They have limited liability and will only pay out for hijacking and loss due to theft as a result thereof, fire and or collision. So don't get excited by "Insurance Included" in the quote.
DASH: do not use this app. It is a complete waste of time. Twice now my order has arrived with items missing. Today, after 3 phone calls to them I am still waiting for my lunch order to arrive. I had used Dash because I was in meetings all morning and needed lunch delivered. Never again.
I am a client & would recommend you stay away from this company. I have contacted them twice on their website over the last month. I have never heard back from them. This involves an important issue and they obviously just don’t care. I am now looking for alternatives.
An agent phoned me today, for the 3rd time, and stated I was preselected for a special deal from Vodacom. I told her that was not true and hung up the phone. She then sent me an SMS stating my quote had been approved and my parcel was on its way. This was clearly intended to cause me concern. It is bullying and intimidation. Disgusting behaviour. The number they called was 031-4932723
I renewed my licence through ChatBack. I received a really poor quality of the disc via PDF. I asked for a better quality and received another sub-standard one. I let it go because I thought "What's the harm?" Well the harm is that nobody can scan the disc. Including the traffic department. Now when I contact ChatBack they are still "Looking for my original" 5 days later. I have paid for it to be couriered, but they "can't find it". Needless to say there is no phone number listed for this company. Just a contact form or a whatsapp number that sends automated replies.
They call me once a day asking for a person I have never heard of. I have asked to be removed from their list of defaulters. My number clearly belonged to someone else. They continue unabated and waste my time AND their time and money. Start working smart and updating your databases please!!
