I've been with Discovery for over 15yrs and never had a bad thing to say. But after reaching out to them WITH a motivation for a dental procedure in hospital, and receiving such apathy towards my mental health. All their advertising to promote healthy lives is actually just a **** money making scheme. I am immediately going to look for another medical aid after this cruel experience.
I purchased a vacuum and robot vacuum for Black Friday. The item was advertised as also having a mopping facility. When I received the item, it did not actually have the mop option AND the robot vacuum didnt charge at all. I was then told they would have to take both items back and refund. The collection for the items was only done mid-Jan and I am yet to receive my refund. To add insult to injury, the consultant I dealed with Tasneem L was incredibly rude and showed absolutely no concern for my frustration or the dreadful service. Never again!!!!
Asked to change my plan to a lower plan due to affordability. I completely understand that less money equals less minutes and data BUT why am I then being charged an exorbitant penalty!!! The only reason i am given by Nomakhwezi Dlozi is that it is their protocol. Their protocol which does not protect the consumer. I have 2 contracts with Vodacom and this makes me want to cancel both of them!!!
Got a data contract with Vodacom. Went to Vodacom Northgate to get the sim and was told in 24hrs it would be active. It wasnt! I called Vodacom and they advised that the store didnt submit it so that sim card had expired and I now need to go back to the store to do the entire process again. No compensation for my time and fuel, especially considering this is due to their incompetence. They promised to call back with a solution. It's a whole 4days later and I'm still waiting for that call. I have 3 contracts with Vodacom and i will be cancelling all 3.
Watched 3D King Fu Panda over the weekend at Monte casino. The quality was dreadful, even with the glasses purchased there. Very unclear and we all had headaches after watching the movie.
Awful and delayed service. Eventually I decided to cancel. Sent an email on 8th January. Only got a call back 15days later, where they are now insisting I need to pay a full premium for Feb. Please DO NOT even think of using this company. The service is non-existent.
Purchased a hyperli voucher for this spa which clearly says on it that is available on weekends. I advised i cannot come in the week but they refused (even tho it shows on the voucher). Voucher has now expired. Both hyperli and the spa have not refunded me. Be very careful of both!!
I purchased a spa voucher which clearly said it is available on weekends. When i called the spa to book, they tell me it is only Mon - Thurs. I contact Hyperli as I have 2 small kids and cannot make it during the week. Hyperli refuses to refund. I paid for nothing. Be very careful before you purchase anything from them.
Ordered something for my baby from King Online for an item indicated in stock. 2days later I queried it and was then advised that it isnt infact in stock and they are now waiting for stock from a supplier. I have been sending follow up emails since, but no response. YOU CANNOT CALL THEM AT ALL. ALL NUMBERS ARE ****. Do not order from this store!!!
I called central reservations and cancelled a 2night stay at Cascades. They confirmed cancellation telephonically. I have been trying to get hold of them for 3days straight and when I finally get through today to move those bookings to next month, they say my booking was a no show and will be forfeited. We pay premium price to stay at Cascades and the service is absolutely shocking. Never again!!!
