Pathetic bank, please contact me to cancel my credit card. I want nothing more to do with you. Tonight I wanted to use a voucher that I converted from my discovery miles, and it would not work at the till in Checkers, said it had already been used. Was not me! Made me look like a chancer. Very embarassing!
Shoddy work done. Not even a year later and it is looking terrible.
It all started well with an online purchase of 2 venetian blinds which showed in stock at the Little Falls branch to "click and collect". When I got there (driving all the way from Pretoria) they did not have stock. I then complained and the call centre lady said they will deliver it to me because it was their mistake. Then I started getting DAILY cancellation messages promising me a refund on one of the items. Next thing the people at my previous address phones and tells me there is a package there for me. They did not even bother to look at the address on the order, just took one they had on "file". With effort arranged the package to be brought from Krugersdorp to Pretoria, and would you believe, the wrong products are in the package! Fortunately it was not a big amount (R558, could have been worse), but that one company can mess up an order so much and still survive is beyond me. I will never buy anything online from them again. If I cannot hold it in my hand and pay for it there and then, then there will be no sale. It is really pathetic. From other reviews, it seems I am not the only one.
I would like to specially thank Nonhlanhla from the Game Cradlestone branch for her exceptional service and going out of her way to find stock hidden away in their stock room for me. There were other employees who were not interested in helping (only interested in watching soccer in the electronics section), but she did all she could to help me. Thank you!

I was considering buying from Mr Shopper, but reading the reviews, I noticed something. All the 5 star reviews (except 1 which is obviously a friend of theirs) had their accounts active only from the month of the review. The conclusion? They "fake" positive reviews, because they cannot get them on their own. I would not buy from them until I see legit positive reviews. Sorry Mr Shopper, you need to do better than this if you want to survive.
What a disaster! Ever since the move away from FNB, nothing works. I am trying to reconcile my accounts and expenses, but can find no-where where I can download my statements to Excel. It is only in PDF. For a "digital" bank, this is really not a good sign. I use this card for business expenses, but if I cannot reconcile, I will have to use something else that can be digitally downloaded and reconcile. I am at the point of cancelling this card.
I really do not know what else to do. I have phoned 3 times over the last 2 months to cancel a contract, having been assured that it will happen and I am again billed for November. Please tell me how to cancel a contract?
Please explain how I transfer R2000 from my cheque account to my credit card (on the same profile) on 4 July and on 6 July the money has been out of my current account and not yet showing in my credit card? I think Nedbank should stop trying to be fancy with this new AVO system and rather get the basics right. Are you going to refund me the interest you earned on 2 days of keeping my money? And what if I urgently needed it? Previous time this happened, the consultant said that I transferred it late the previous evening. This time I took a proof of transfer that I can prove that I am not lying. Pretty disgusted.
