Helped get rid of debt busters flagging me for years after I had paid my debt.
My internet has been off the whole week. They have a great whatapp support team which answers quickly but is unable to do anything besides the usual switch everything off and reset and start up again. First query I made was it has been escalated and to wait 72 hours and then contact them again, which i did. Then they told me to wait another 48 hours and contact them again. I have a 1 gig upload / down load line which has never been higher than 300 & 400 mbs.
Just upgraded my package to 1000/500 every test i have done has a maximum of 300/300. I am paying a much higher premium and have not seen much benefit.
I paid all my bills about 7 years ago and when someone does a credit check on me they pick up that I was on debt review. The only people I was with were debt busters.
Have been on DSTV Stream for 3 weeks and all they give you is audio and no video. Dont worry about phoning the helpline or going on the whatsapp chat as you will get nowhere.
Tried to use their hosting but the support was terrible, could not even get Wordpress working with their IT support. Cancelled it within 7 days and they charged me for the year. Tried contacting through email and they just don't respond. Glad my internet contract ends in July so i can switch networks too.
Was contacted by phone that I had won a holiday voucher and asked if i had kids which i replied, yes 2 still in school. She said great the voucher is for 4 people 2 adults and 2 kids under 18 and that we could choose between a midweek or a weekend. Once we got to Hampton office park in Bryanston, we were shown around on the website and informed that it was timeshare, which was fine but then came the shocker. The system chooses the holiday for you and obviously we got the midweek break, Would love to see how you use the voucher with 2 kids in school and my spouse is a teacher, which excludes school holidays and public holidays. Thanks LPA for nothing besides wasted time and petrol.
I have the 30gig double data wifi package, and once again the wifi is running at such a low speed I might as well be running GPRS. It has been like this for a week now (Current upload speed 1.9mbps / download speed 1.56mbps. Don't bother trying to phone them as you will be kept on the phone till your phone call bill overtakes your wifi bill. You can also try their "non functioning" chat on their website to log a complaint, but wait there is more ,they are running a promotion again for wifi on the already over exhausted signal. Viva Telkom.
I purchased a LTE package for 60gig day and 60 gig night surf. I asked the consultant at the Glen branch if there is poor signal can I bring it back as I would rather put in an ADSL line. He informed me that this would be ok if done in 7 days. The download speed I achieved all around the house averaged about 0.48mb/sec and the upload speed was about 9mb/sec. I took it back before the 7 days was up and logged the return with the consultant. I was informed that someone would get back to me in 3 business days......... well I'm still waiting and it looks like the cancellation will never happen. Viva ANC.
<p>I am a part time forex trader and I funded my forex account with my Capitec debit card of $500 to practice with. After a month I found myself in profit of $151. I made a withdrawal to check if there were no problems withdrawing from the broker. They tranferred my $500 back to my debit card without a problem, but when they tried to send my profits via bank wire to my bank account this is where all the problems started. It took about 2 weeks to get to my bank and then it was "sent back" by Capitec for some bull reason as at Standard bank I never had a problem and made several withdrawals. The problem now is that the broker said they have not received these funds (R2,100) so by Capitec doing that stupid move I have lost my money and refuse to help me anymore.</p>
