I have been trying to port a number from vodacom to MTN for the past week now, after following the instructions given by MTN without any luck. My application for a contract was declined saying that I do not meet the minimum requirements. What a joke, I am in senior management and earn a good salary, have a good credit rating and pay my few accounts I have every month. I have no problem with vodacom getting contracts, with std bank on my car and home loans but MTN just say don't meet the min requirements. My reference number for this declined order is 1-38573849465. Please get back to me , otherwise we will go to social media showing your incompetence and bias.
They claim to have a fantastic service, net work and customer service. My wife works from home and is dependent on the wifi network. We keep going off witb no WiFi for up to seven days at a time. I have written to the CEO who has never responded to my e mail i sent 3 to 4 weeks ago, but got someone else to respond and blameed MTN . I sent them another three emails since saturday morning as we again do not have connectivity, but only got one responce telling me its working from thier side. I have confirmed and assured them that we are connected but without internet. This means that nothing comes in or goes out, no emails and or whats app etc. This is exstreemly frustrating not having any communication with you clients etc. Please sort this out and stop blaming MTN as my neighbours all use MTN and do not have a problem
Delivery was supposed to be done today by 17h00. I waited the entire day for the driver only to be told that the driver attempted the delivery and i was not home. Both my employee and I were home the entire day and no one came. I did not pop out to go to the shop but rather stayed at home to receive the package. They lied to me 😕

I called Vodacom on the 7th June 2017 regarding no network in my area. I was promised that someone would contact me to come and install a booster of some sort. I was given a ref number 1- ********** ********** . Its now been almost 60 days since I called and I have still to get a call or a visit to install the booster as promised. I called Yesterday and spent 24 minutes going from department to department until I spoke to a helpful lady in the Corporate department. She contacted the network department, who apparently don’t deal directly with the customers. She said that they promised to call me today to sort this out. Its now 13h20 and still no call. MTN and Cell C have great network coverage in my area.

I entered the Coca-Cola Rugby World Cup competition on a 500ml buddy on Saturday morning. I unfortunately did not win anything said the returned SMS. Later that same day I received an SMS from Coca-Cola Rugby World Cup competition to say that I had won a prize and that they needed my e mail address, to send me confirmation. I later received an e mail from a Coca-Cola branded e mail to say that I had once a substantial amount of money, and that I would need to complete the attached form. I could see from the warning at the bottom of the e mail not to discuss this with anyone otherwise I would be disqualified, that this was a scam. Especially when I called and spoke to the e mail author, a Mr Lawrence Gray. I called the Coca-Cola customer service to report this and to find out how my cell number landed up with a scam artist only an hour or two after I sms a code to a Coca-Cola rugby competition. The CSD agent said that she didn't know anything and promised that this would be escalated. I'm still waiting for someone from Coca-Cola to contact me and explain as no coincident that I received the scam sms just after sending a competition one to Coca-cola
After having problems with my Mazda and it going to Ford Furry for repairs, I was given a courtesy vehicle to use. A few days later at 07h00 in the morning, the dealer principle (at the time) Craig Absalom called and asked for the car back. I agreed and cleaned out the car. At around 11h00 I got a missed call from a private number. The message was from a WO Wilson of the Brixton Car theft division. He called back later (from a private number) and told me that he had the Fury workshop manager in his office and that \Abie Coetzee"has opened a case of car theft against me. I told the officer that I was recording the conversation"
A friend wanted to by my father in laws quad. He collected it from me and took it to Shimwells Yamaha, who after +- 3 weeks came back with a quote of R27 000 for repairs. My friend and I agreed not to go ahead with the repairs and he brought the quad back. On arriving with the quad, I noticed that the air box was missing. My friend contacted Shimwell Yamaha, Braam said he will look around for it. After a day or two nothing was found. Feeling responsible, my friend bought a new air box from Braam for R2500. On checking the quad further, I found that the electrical for the display had been removed and not replaced. On calling Braam, he admitted that they do not put things back together if the quote is not accepted. He also then said that the quad arrived with no air box, as it blew off while on the back of the trailer. He then said he checked the security cameras and can confirm that there was no air box. I know that there was an air box as I washed the quad two hours before my friend collected the quad. Braam was not prepared to refund the R2500 for the item lost at Shimwells or fix the state of the electrical. He was rude and used bully tactics to avoid taking responsibility.
