On Monday last week the bank blocked my account for FICA. (I have had the account for over two decades, they have processed my home loan and I worked for the bank for a decade). I had to go into a branch (where i waited for 2 hours) to show them my ID. This morning when I logged into my mobile banking app, the bank had changed my email address to the work email address of a relative. I have never provided them with this information and I am shocked that someone at the bank did this, and I want to know what information was shared with this third party.
I returned a product to a Le Creuset branch. I was told by a staff member that LC did not process credit card refunds. She asked for my bank details and then "called" head office in my presence and told me that the payment had been made and would reflect in my bank account in a day or two. No refund came. I contacted "head office" and I have been repeatedly referred back to the same branch. Now I have been told that they do not process cash refunds. I am still out of pocked after a month.
I have a fibre service that I have been trying to cancel since March due to the unreliability of the service. Despite numerous emails and phone calls I am still being billed.
Please beware when using this service. There are offers on the site that you pay for and which are not honoured by the merchant. Hyperli does not cancel a voucher unless you request this within seven days, and leave it to you to "negotiate" with the merchant. I purchased a hair treatment on the site from Krisnique Hair Salon on the site and they refuse to make a booking. At this point they are still offering the same "service" on Hyperli, despite a complaint I sent to Hyperli. I am now R500 out of pocket. Beware when using this website.
On Sunday I reported a fraudulent transaction on my credit card, it took six calls to have the card stopped and to confirm that no other transactions had been processed. Each of these calls had a wait time of twenty minutes, with security questions being reprocessed every time I got cut off. They blocked access to all of my other accounts rendering me unable to make payments (including home levies and utilities) , draw cash to do relatively "minor" purchases like purchasing food, buying fuel In addition there was a delay in requesting a new card, so this situation may persist for two weeks!
I ordered a microwave to be delivered to me. The item was delivered damaged and unusable. I have spent two weeks emailing and calling them to arrange a replacement or refund to. no avail. I receive no feedback and their staff are extremely patronising. They do not seem to have any awareness of the Consumer Protection Act. Unfortunately I am now in the position where I have to both lodge a complaint with the ombud and get legal assistance to get my money back.
I ordered a blue tooth phone extension for my iPhone, instead a non-blue tooth, cheaper phone was sent. You cannot contact this company by email or on telephone. I am now out of pocket with an item I cannot use.
I ordered flowers and chocolates for my father who lives in Knysna. The flowers were delivered, but not the chocolates. I have sent numerous emails requesting a refund, with no success.
Every year I fly to George with my dogs from ORT. On 11 June this year I spent R5,200 on a return ticket departing on the 24th on the understanding that I will be travelling with my pets in the same fashion as always. Today as per Kulula's policy I called to notify the airline that my dogs would be accompanying me and I was notified that the pet policy had changed. <br> I was now notified that I had to hand my dogs into the Bidair service Cargo area, TWO hours ahead of time, and the Cargo area is not even at the airport. In the past we have had exceptionally poor and cruel service from BidAir Services and I have complained about it before on several occasions. As the pet policy was changed without any notification I demand a full refund of my ticket as I will now have to drive to George and back!
I have during the course of the day been receiving sms messages from [URL Removed] trying to send me photos at R7.00 per day. At the end of the sms I am prompted to send an SMS to \opt out". Why should I"
