My son had a round-trip flight from Cape Town to China. On his return to Cape Town, he got off the plane and went through customs and then realized he'd left his phone on the plane. The airline made no effort to quickly check for his phone even though the plane was still standing on the apron and they had just got off. Many excuses and shunting him from pillar to post and to this day still no feedback. Yes, it is his fault but they made zero effort to retrieve the phone when it would have cost very little effort and he would likely have got it back straight away. Flight ET845 arriving in Cape Town on 13 January 2025.
Needed a small load in a pinch - 700km North west to KZN. The follow-up after requesting a quote online was efficient - was initially a little apprehensive due to other people's past reviews. Pricing was in line with expectation (if you have a previous rate chat to them). They arrived for loading on time and were friendly and professional. Arrived at destination on time and schedule and were well received by our crew. Will definitely use again in the future for such requirements.
Ordered a nearly new Lenovo Thinkpad from them which they helped to source. Great service. PC was promptly dispatched not withstanding the time of the year (Christmas/New Year) and they arranged the delivery to suit my timeframe. PC arrived exactly as advertised and almost like new. Wouldn't hesitate buying from them again!
Don't usually gamble or play lottery etc. Joined on a whim (I suspect on the back of an advert). Deposited funds, not much, a few hundred. Played a few times on and off and left for a year or three. Now if I log on everything is blank, no history, no transactions, no funds. Agent first says I can make a Paia application for a fee. Then says if dormant funds are forfeited. I suspect that is theft and they cannot possibly be entitled just to bank your funds (however insignificant). Not a fan of gambling, should have known better.
Signed up for the Telkom Freeme Unlimited package, at the time I was told after three months I could change the package up or down (in this case only down as I was on the top package). All lies!! It is impossible to downgrade a package! Since February of this year we've trying to downgrade our Telkom Freeme Family Unlimited package to the 30Gb package. So far we've been sent from pillar to post. The call centre system chases you round and round in circles and eventually sends you off to the nearest store. For us the nearest store is 75km away, so a 150km round trip! We've now made this round trip twice (ie 300km) and still no-one is able to help us with the downgrade. It is suggested we just wait for our contract to expire in a few months (I asked the shop assistant if they were willing to keep paying the higher rate on our behalf, strangely they weren't), this means added expense we're trying to avoid. How do we get this seemingly impossible situation resolved (please don't say go to the store again as that does not work and is costing me and arm and a leg). Don't believe the nonsense they tell you on sign-up. There are no people you can speak to that have any capacity to make any changes to your account/contract.
Was sent an introductory offer where I received the so-called "free" gift where you only have to pay for shipping. I shop a fair amount online so thought I'd give them a try on the "free" $1 gift. Needless to say months down the line after much waiting and messages that I should wait some more I cancelled and was told I could not receive a cash refund because it was more than a certain amount of time past the delivery date. So they issued me Wish credit so that if I'm stupid enough I can throw more real money at them. Do not use Wish, it is a an unethical business at best and a scam at worst.

Bought a Tork Craft twisted wire brush from Makro Online. Turned out it was defective. Pick an email for Makro, any one. Either they don't work or you get zero response - not impressed.

We cancelled a vehicle in October 2014. We're still being billed for it in September 2015.

We asked that the debit order be cancelled as we have made the particular bank account dormant. In spite of an email saying it had been affected we are still being debited on that account.

You can phone any number you like at the company but the chance of being put through to someone useful or an actual number that is correct and not an answering machine is extremely close to zero (zero at the moment).

If someone promises to follow-up and get back to you, don't hold your breath. The final straw was getting a number for a different company and when I called the number I could enter my employee code?

I can't help but think one should avoid signing up with this tracking company. The price may be OK in theory but you'll be overbilled and you can never speak to anyone about it nor get any feedback.
