I'd give them zero stars if possible. They will look for any reason to reject claims, regardless of how ridiculous they are. You're wasting your money paying their premium. They won't pay out when you claim anyway. Busy with the Ombud. Hopefully they shut this place down.
Currently have a motor claim that they cannot approve as the assessors that appointed (Net Assess) don't have the equipment necessary to accurately assess the vehicle (after going through to the assessment centre twice). The call centre agent (Calvin Nkosinkulu) then suggests I take the vehicle somewhere else and assess it at my cost. How is it ethical to appoint an assessor who cannot complete the assessment on a vehicle and then base a claim on that??? I will be moving my business, and that of anyone I'm connected to, to an insurer who is capable of meeting their obligations!
FNB Connect cannot even get a simple delivery right. And they expect you to remain with them over 2 years? Today is the 11th of December and my order that was placed on the 29th of November still hasn't arrived! All the call center agent (Melusi Khumalo) could tell me was he can send an email to their courier company (RAM Couriers) to reschedule delivery. Reschedule a delivery that is already 2 days late? Am I supposed to wait indefinitely???
Makro Online is an absolute joke! Despite waiting way passed the promised delivery date, orders are eventually cancelled. Then they short refund! I would suggest never supporting an organization that operates like this!
Excellent service received from the claims team, Demi Loddo in particular. Even after the claim has been closed, very helpful with getting the panel beater to rectify their shortfalls.
I've had a Red Rhino water pump that had to go to them twice under warranty. 1st the 750w pump kept tripping my 5KVA inverter. 2nd time the pump malfunctioned completely. Switched on and refused to switch back off and fault light on at the controller. The internals also rusted through. Both times they sent it back with a test report stating there's nothing wrong with it. I doubt they even actually tested it as the internals of the pump had rusted. You don't have to be a technician to notice that. Do yourself a favour and not purchase anything from them. Their warranty isn't worth the print on the box!
I've purchased a Red Rhino 750w water pump from the Strubensvalley branch in October last year. It was for an emergency water back up system so it didn't have to run as frequently as it should. During July this year, the pump started tripping my 5KVA inverter. I removed the pump from my system and took it through to the Northriding store as it was closer to home. The returns department booked the pump in and sent it through to the supplier (KLB Engineering). The pump was returned a week later with a report stating there was nothing wrong with it. I disputed this but, being unsuccessful in this, accepted the pump and reconnected it to my system. On the 11th of September the pump malfunctioned again. This time it switched on and refused to switch itself off. I had to cut power to it. Before switching it off, I noticed the fault light illuminated on the controller. After disconnecting it (2nd time incurring a cost from my plumber) I noticed the water that came out of the pump was a dark brown, showing the internals of the pump were either corroded or was leaking oil. I took the pump back to the Northriding store. The returns department (Beauty) understood my frustration and stated on the return slip that I'd like a refund as this was the 2nd time I had to bring the pump back and incurred almost half the price of the pump in plumbers fees. The supplier called me on Thursday (14th September) to ask what was wrong with the pump. I explained the issue to her. The next week Thursday (21st September) I received notification that my pump was ready for collection and the suppliers report said there was no fault on the pump. I called the store asking how that could be as the desired outcome was to be a refund due to the repetition of the issue with the pump and it was impossible for the report to show no fault. Beauty then advised I should call the supplier. I explained that I didn't purchase the pump from the supplier. I purchased it from Builders. I went through to the Northriding store and Beauty referred me to Khotso (her manager). He could not resolve my issue so referred me to Keith (branch manager). He showed no sympathy towards the situation and totally lacked any competence. I tried simplifying the issue in my explanation but he just wasn't understanding. How is someone like that trusted to manage a branch? Khotso then proceeded to email the supplier as I refused to accept the pump and incur further costs to reinstall and then remove to bring back to the store as the issue with the pump definitely still exists. I await a favourable response.
Dear CCD \Couriers\"<br> <br> On Monday (04/04/2016), you sent me a message promising to deliver my FNB Cheque card to my work address on Tuesday (05/04/2016) between 10-11am. At 09:58am on Tuesday you send me another message stating the courier is in route to me and will arrive in 24min. After numerous calls to your call centre, the hours roll by and Tuesday ends without me receiving my card.<br> <br> Wednesday (06/04/2016) arrives and I'm greeted by a message stating you were unable to contact me to deliver my card. I call you back and you tell me the card was given to the incorrect courier and you will escalate the issue to FNB for an urgent delivery and deliver the same day. Wednesday rolls by. No card is delivered!<br> <br> It is now Thursday (07/04/2016) and you still have not delivered my card! I've called your call centre and the agent (Refilwe) informed me that her supervisor (Grace) will contact me. I won't hold my breathe.<br> <br> PS: on a number of calls, your call centre agents had told me that the delivery address is incorrect. How can it be incorrect if just last week you delivered 2 cards to me at the same address? (Which was also late!)<br> <br> I await your response as to how you rectify this situation"
There is a MTN tower located next to the complex I live in. During loadshedding, the back up generator is switched on. However, it is not switched off again after power has been restored. Also the generator is run past 6pm (sometimes throughout the night) and produces an exorbitant amount of noise. It is definitely more than 6 decibels over ambient noise, which is illegal after 6.<br> <br> Please have an engineer out to turn off this generator or I will be forced to go to the police and open a charge of a public disturbance against you. The site I refer to is: T2145 in Sundowner, Johannesburg.<br> <br> I await your urgent response.
