Alexander Forbes submitted wrong tax number — Two-Pot withdrawal blocked (Case 10826775)
I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my Two-Pot retirement withdrawal by Alexander Forbes. I submitted a full savings withdrawal on 12 March 2026 (Case Number: 10826775). However, Alexander Forbes used the wrong tax number on my claim — they entered 3591074145 instead of my correct personal tax number: 0578114266 (ID: 7908285008089). As a result: SARS cannot issue a tax directive due to the incorrect tax number; My payment is blocked indefinitely; This is causing stress and financial inconvenience; The error is entirely on Alexander Forbes’ side. I have already contacted Alexander Forbes but have not yet received a confirmation that the tax number will be corrected and resubmitted to SARS. I expect Alexander Forbes to: Correct the tax number on my Two-Pot withdrawal claim immediately, Resubmit the claim to SARS without further delay, Provide written confirmation of the correction and expected timeline.

However, Alexander Forbes used the wrong tax number on my claim — they entered 3591074145 instead of my correct personal tax number: Whas sent to you via email As a result: SARS cannot issue a tax directive due to the incorrect tax number; My payment is blocked indefinitely; This is causing stress and financial inconvenience; I should not be waiting because the error was completely on Alexander Forbes’ side. I have already contacted Alexander Forbes but have not yet received a satisfactory resolution or confirmation that the tax number will be corrected and resubmitted to SARS. This is a serious administrative error that has prevented me from accessing my own lawful funds. I expect Alexander Forbes to: Correct the tax number on my Two‑Pot withdrawal claim immediately, Resubmit the claim to SARS without further delay, Provide written confirmation of the correction and expected timeline.
