Please note - this is for the PAARDENEILAND branch! I have only had GREAT SERVICE from TRAC-MAC Belville I purchased a jacket in January 2019, and by February 2019 some of the press studs had started to rust. This was after 1 ride in the rain. Apart from being an indication of the bad quality of the product, it will also eventually put my safety at risk, as rusting press studs will create a weakness in the gear. When I brought this to the manager's attention, he was totally rude and kept asking me what I expected from him. He kept blaming the manufacturer. After a lot of backwards and forwards, he eventually said he would send the jacket in to the manufacturer to be repaired. This does not work for me for the following reasons: I needed my/a jacket to ride my bike back home I live 50km away and it is an inconvenience to have to come back through, in a car or on a bike with a second jacket to ride home with Repairing/replacing rusted press studs in a mesh jacket compromises that quality and safety. Not once did he suggest he was prepared to refund or replace the jacket, although I presented him with the payment slip. Instead, I was told it was an Entry Level jacket, and that it was therefore acceptable. Paying R2000 for a jacket is far from entry level in my opinion! Quite frankly, I am disgusted at how I was brushed off, no apologies were made, and no workable solutions were offered. I will NOT be supporting you further, and will ensure non of my fellow riders and friends do either. There are many other biking stores in Cape Town that are more deserving of our business!
I think it is totally pathetic that I place an order for 2 items, and a week down the line get told that one item is not in stock and I will need to be refunded. I asked them to swap the item, as it was otherwise false advertising if the item was not actually available, and they have nothing to swap. I then get told a few days later that the other item is ALSO NOT AVAILABLE; so I am refunded for that item too. I have now not been refunded the delivery charge I paid, only the price of the 2 items. It is not acceptable that 2 out of 2 items on my order are not available. Quiote frankly, I may as well unsubscribe from the daily mailer, if the items they advertise are not actually available. As many others have stated, rather go to the more reliable online retailers - don't waste your time here. I've been burnt in the past with regards to packaging as well as delivery time too, and I also feel OneDayOnly delivery charge is quite high.
<p>So, I was rather disappointed to realise that Discovery was only prepared to authorise USED car parts on repairing my vehicle, although it is under an extended mechanical warranty.</p> <p>It has taken at least 2 weeks to try obtain the relevant parts, which has left me with a car in a Discovery Authorised Repair Center for over a month.</p> <p> </p> <p>My 30 day car hire has also now expired, and I am expected to pay for my own vehicle hire going forwards.</p> <p> </p> <p>This "service" is unacceptable, and I will be cancelling my policy upon completion of this claim.</p> <p> </p> <p>Do NOT use Discovery Insure unless you are prepared for surprises and below par service!!</p>

<p>I am disgusted and very glad my cell phone contract is not with Vodacom, and I am limited to a data contract only!</p> <p> </p> <p>I topped up my data contract using the app, and did not receive the free data as is advertised.</p> <p> </p> <p>I then tried to contact Vodacom, who do not have an e-mail address easily available. I had to leave a call back, and to date am still waiting. It has been over 2 months. I just want my free data as advertised!</p>
