Absolute Terrible. We went onto DSTV website and they showed their DSTV Explora 3b on special for R999.00. We purchased one on the 20nd. Received emails saying thanks as well as being processed. Yesterday received email showing shipped. But when you click on link back to their site it shows in Progress. When you do sub track shows in progress. I phoned to ask when will it then actually ship and who delivers it. They cant help or track merely says go back onto site. This makes no sense. How can no one look into an order. Then today I go onto the Chat service on the site. Sisiwe chats to us. Very friendly. Says takes 7 work days. I mention surely they must list this in the site during ordering. Because they dont. Shw says we can take proof of order go to any DSTV Walking Center and with ID just collect the Decoder instead of having it shipped. So we do this. We print all the documentation and even the transcript of chat and go the Center. Center says no way can they give us the Explora it is shipped from Randburg. Why the heck did Sisiwe give us this info and instruction merely wasting our time. We ask here can we call about the order. Answer Dont know.... How the heck. So DSTV chat staff is disshonest sending us to Center and wasting our fuel and time. DSTV staff has no clue or contact number to check up on Online sales. No wonder everyone moving to ******* streaming services And DSTV financially strugling.
Terrible Service and False promises. My vehicle lisence disc came up for renewal. Colleagues in my office previously made use of Capitec app to renew, The one actually did his a day before me on Monday and received the Wednesday delivered, I did mine on Tuesday 4 November 25. Friday after lunch I phoned Capitec to ask what is happening as I have heard nothing from them. The Customer Care staff told me there is no waybill to track it yet as they could not deliver to a PO box address. I said that not right its a Business address where they have delivered in the dame week. The Customer Care person then said he will retype in same address and I should email VASPILOT to request help. He also pormised me several times he will contact me Monday to give an update. He has not. To me this is dishonest and blatant lying to a customer. Which actually is the worst part of this. I phone in Monday morning to check and get told no waybill yet but they will escalate and phone me back later in the day. I now phone in just beifre 15h00 as banks usually close earlier. And still no waybill on system. Also up to now still waiting for the promissed call from Friday. I also got told but I can go to traffic department and just ask for reprint so long. So after paying Capitec for the service. They wan me to take of 1 to 2 hours from work go stand in line at traffic department and pay for reprints after I already paid them. Absolutley terrible service. And why do their team make false promises to call me back. I have now on my third call asked for a supervisor to urgently call me. But sure this wont happen.
Absolutely great and efficient service. Highly recommend. Was helped very quickly and professionally.
Terrible and *****ulent. I was looking for a gift for a friend and found a Stanley Cup on Makro website at a very good price. I placed order for the cup and received Order #OD434892100797441100. When the Cup arrived it was clearly a *****ulent **** Stanley Cup sold by Makro. I immediately contacted them about this. I was told that it was sold by a 3rd party. However i did not buy it from a 3rd party i bought it from Makro. I was then told to log a return but I cant as Makro is not showing the Order on my profile. I informed them about this telephonically and via email several times and each time getting told their order team will get in touch. Well 2 weeks later and no one has made contact. I am still sitting with the **** item. Makro took my money selling a **** item and do not want to take responsibility for their action. A person would expect more honesty from large retailer. As well as better service to sort it out especially since they several times promising to phone me back
Terrible Service. I ordered item on 4 July 2025 from Amazon with delivery 7 July 2025. On 7 July i track item. Amazon shows delivery on 7th. DPD laser website shows not out for delivery yet at 11h00. I track item with the DPD Milo chat and it shows delivery 7 July 2025. I phone DPD and first get told delivery will be 9th. Then that someone will phone me back in 30minutes. No one does. Now just after 13h00 I phone DPD again get told I requested delivery on 8th. I never did I requested today 7th. And no one phoned me. I am told to please hang on they will check on delivery. I get put back to reception. I ask again and now told delivery tomorrow. I said no its today. and why does no one phone me. Now told again OK someone will phone later today but usually takes 1 hour. Although 1 hour is long gone from initial promise to phone me. And in hour they will just say it end of the day. Absolute terrible service. Dishonest about when item will be delivered. And dishonest that someone will phone back. Ridiculous why amazon would make use of thus comapny.
Terrible and dishonest. Package being shipped with Aramex was out for delivery on 11 June 25 but was not delivered. When tracked now shows could not reach customer, customer to contact Aramex. However we were at the address the whole day and no one from Aramex even phoned if they wanted to know something. We literally look straight towards the front of the address so would not have missed anyone coming. Then when trying to contact them you can not find a contact number for them but have to submit online request which who knows when they will read. So terrible service for saying out for delivery and not coming to address. And then dishonest by saying tried to contact customer which also did not happen as no calls on phone. All other couriers at least phone if unable or stuck to deliver. TERRIBLE!!!
We have recently moved over to Rain 5g. Did the mobile Port on cell number and withing 24 hours the phone went dead as the old provider released the line to Rain. We inserted the Rain Sim. 2 weeks later and several emails and even phoning customer care the phone number is still not working and ported. Absolutely ridiculous. Also the Download speed on Router is showing 33mb when testing but the Upload speed is 0.7mb while our neighbours gets 5mb upload with Rain. We get zero response back from Rain. Its terrible service.
Absolute Terrible Service. It is truly sad to have to complain about a South African company. But really the service is terrible to not existent. I have a parcel due to be delivered. I paid Skynet for the service. Received Out for delivery SMS on the day but did not arrive. Zero communication from them. Try to track online and it just spins. Start the online chat and it shows Mabore Seabi in online and live chatting. Chat starts at 9h32 at 9h54 not a word back to me yet. I phone in and get told driver was yesterday called back to depot so could not deliver. So any reasonable person would believe would be more priority to complete early the next day. Actually no. As they say will be late afternoon. So I paid for a service. Get told a date. And they miss it. And when you use their online chat your left hanging so far for +25minutes. Terrible Service. Asking a Fee in advance for a service then not honouring it is actually *****.
Absolutely ********** experience at branch and call in service. On Sunday 30 March 25 I went to N1 City Mall Capitec branch. They have 4 ATM machines which all can accept deposits. Only 1 was a accepting other 3 only able to withdraw. There was a long line of people standing waiting to use the ATM. At one point a lady was stuck on the ATM f jut short of 10minutes. She tried to call for assistance through window. A person in the line had to just about go beg the entrance assistant at the bank to go assist. She assisted for about 5 minutes and left. The lady struggled for another 10 minutes until the people in line had to beg the assistance person at entrance to go help again. Me and the other people then asked to see the manager. She walked in to a lady that has the whole +30minutes we were there been standing next to a pillar and kept going on her phone. She talked to her. She turned looked at us and just stayed there. The assistance lady eventually came past us again. IA sked where is the manager we called. She said oh its the lady their by the pillar on her phone. Incredible. The manager is just standing in branch on her private phone. Ignoring customers having to stand in line for now close to 45minutes. Even after being told we were calling her. Thats absolutely terrible from a manager. She eventually came to us. There was also another Capitec lady with long pony tail hair just laughing at us standing in the line and even came to fetch the assistance lady. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE BRANCH!!!! They are more worried about being on their personal phones and ignoring issues of Capitec customers. I logged a complaint 131572354. Was told will be contacted by complaints department within 24 hours. Even says this on Website. Well 48 hours later I phone to enquire about progress. Told they will escalate complaint and I cant be put through to complaints department. Well now 80 hours later and another 2 calls of which I was told they will phone before end of day at 16h00. Again did not happen. I am pretty sure the Branch and Branch managers gets their bad service they give to customers from head office. As it seems to be how Capitec operates. Also how do you lodge a complaint against the complaints department who you can not even phone.
Logged a Sales agent to phone me as we would like to sign up. Receivef email htlp on the way. Now 90min later not a call from no one. Phoned Sales dept. Spoke to Donovan. He said oh can help me on phone. Said no please phone me back as I requested as not going to loose airtime because have not been called back. Still waiting another 30min later. Terrible
