Stay away from this company or you will lose everything. Once you make the initial payment you can forget about any response.
I called 3 stores to get help and only Randburg had stock. Josephine promised to confirm and get back to me which never happened. Tebogo then answered my call and said she will call back. Called back and apparently there is no mattress and I can take the base..lol. Then she says the Sumberland is difficult to get and not sure when the orders will be placed thanks, bye and puts the phone down. I was in shock and called back, Katlego answered and turned my experience around by confirming the stock and my bed was delivered the next day.
Clicks has ruined my 20 year wedding anniversary. Nobody in the store seem to know what’s going on with prices on the shelves and how they work. Mr Khumalo the store manager said it’s fine I can resolve the issue with head office as he can not assist me. I kid you not, every single visit to the Norkem Park Clicks has had me waiting at the tills where the incorrect price was charged. Staff just chat in their own native language and we the customers do not know what is going on and just stand there waiting for ever. The long and short of it was that I selected perfumes for my wife as a gift for our 20 year anniversary. This was with the help of staff as the perfumes are all locked behind glass. At the tills the price is incorrect and management refused to fix their incompetence. The other chocolates was also if you take 4 you get 50% off. An employee with braids took the advert off the shelf and said he will be back after chatting to management. He was no where to be found and management says it’s 3 for 2 and not 50% off. What a mess of a shop to go to. A miserable shopping experience.
Guys please be careful when taking a Telkom contract. READ the small print. My wife’s contract was a lie what they told her when signing up. Airtime on the 24 month contract was only for the first 3 months. I then wanted to upgrade my dads contract and apparently those contracts are no longer available. The similar contract now with less benefits is more than double the price. They just do the cheaper contracts to get one hooked. The call centre does not exist anymore and you get sent a SMS to send a watsapp to a menu to chat with. I still have watsapp data but my all networks data is finished and can not receive watsapps. Just ridiculous.
Bought a Defy fridge and had some questions. Followed the online process to log a call/query with no response for almost a week. Then sent an email to all branches in SA and there was a response. I was told that I will be contacted to arrange a visit by a technician and I asked if my query can not be answered on mail or telephone. Apparently their process is that a they have to log a call and a technician comes out, doesn’t matter the query. Technician came out unannounced when I was not home and looked at the fridge, said it’s working and left. So I complained and said that my query was not answered and was told that it’s been escalated to the regional manager. Not sure where in the world he is but no contact from defy as yet and don’t know who to speak to. If I had it my way I would throw that fridge out due to pathetic customer service. Defy needs to get with the times and update their online processes and company policies if not they will be left behind in this fast moving world we in!
Bought cakes from Al Saudi Bakery in Actonville, Benoni only to find a packet inside the cake while cutting it in front of an audience since it was a birthday cake. Al Saudi used to make the best cakes but the quality has since dropped. Contacted them and they said they would replace and the owner said sorry but he was too busy to meet when I went to the store. Very bad service and did not respond to messages.
Worst and most risky experience with an Estate agent ever. Contacted by Donalda from Rowcor in February to view my property. She made arrangements for me to get access for the client and she left. Called me and said don't go behind my back and deal with the client. Promised a lot that she can offer but never delivered. I asked for a check list to be completed and an electricity deposit but never materialized. After sending a complaint to management I was contacted by Eleanor and then Thuens who promised to resolve all the issues but to date nothing resolved. There were no checks done and my property was let out fully furnished. There were a number of times where I made contact to verify the tenants checks etc. Once she got the money they do not deliver. This is my worst experience with an agent and will never recommend Rowcor Properties to anyone!
It was a long weekend and the hotel was fully booked. There was a queue on arrival at the reception as it was peak times for check in. My son and I were greeted and welcomed with a beautiful smile by a lady named Ashnee at check in. While at the counter were greeted by a gentleman by the name of Nelson Naidoo. He welcomed us and asked how many kids are there. He then returned with welcome gifts for the kids and my son was very impressed with what he received. The view from the room was amazing and we could see most of the beach front from the 22nd floor. The safe did not work and we called reception. Nelson arrived and immediately had a look and got his team to sort this out with out delay. Nelson is one of the kindest sweetest gentle and kind person I met in a long time. Just chatting to him makes you comfortable. His motto is to make sure the guests are comfortable no matter what it takes. Later he called the room to check if all is in order and we are settled. The following day on arrival back at the hotel the kids were excited to see sweets in the room and this thanks to the great staff at Garden Court South Beach. This hotel is well positioned with ba*****t parking. Breakfast was great and there is no need to have another meal after the satisfying breakfast provided which was included in the room rates. Thanks to the great hospitality from Nelson and his team we will definitely be back sooner than we planned.
We booked flights on Expedia (Ebookers) on 28 Aug, and the policy states that changes can be made within 24 hours, which is 11:30 pm the next day. It is impossible to get through to the call centre, after numerous attempts by email and telephone we finally got through to the call centre and the agent gave us a ridiculous price to change the ticket for a shorter duration on the stopover. When i mentioned the 24 hours change policy he says it is 5 minutes too late, and we have to pay. After several more emails Priya Raina called form Ebookers India office and promised to get back to me as she is the escalations manager. I called back the next day and was told that I cannot get assistance as only Priya would be able to help me. This has costed me a lot in international calls as there are no local numbers. To date we have no response from anyone. Please do not use Ebookers or any subsidiary company of Expedia to book your travel, it seems like a scam.
<p>The first time I went to this store I was told that they do not have the R129 for 2 pizzas on a Friday and I left. Complained with no response on the dominos website. Today I ordered and I called the store. I received the SMS from the bank and it also reflected in the store as per Khanyi. She asked me to SMS my order and she can do the delivery. This was 18:10. Then she called to ask if thick base, then another call to say that manager said I need to pay again even thou they can see my payment and will refund me soon. I could not understand this and accepted as the kids were hungry. It was delivered more than an hour later and the pizza was cold. This is the second episode at this store and doubt that I will ever support them again.</p> <p>Unhappy Dominos customer</p>
