I reported a device fault on the 09th of December and followed up for many days afterwards. I haven't been able to get help. This is just 7 months after installation. The device drains my car battery. I receive power event sms's daily and still, it doesn't give them an urge to attend to my reports. Every consultant promises me that they've definitely done the right thing, but I'm still waiting. I've received emails and text messages that my repair has been flagged and validated. Still, no technicians are attending to me. My car spent a few days with the dealership waiting for CarFKNtrack to come fix their device. No technicians attending to me. I can just imagine myself in an emergency situation with such a useless tracking company.
I app**** on the GDE website for my daughter to do grade 1 in 2024. The GDE did not consider our application at our preferred school of choice, which is where she attends her grade r. Instead of considering to place my daughter at the 2nd or 3rd option schools, they placed her at a school that we did not apply for, a school I had never heard of before, Laerskool Jozua Naude in Roodepoort. The reviews about that school are bad - why would I consider taking my child there? Even the former students don't have good reviews. I rejected the referral there, and they placed her there AGAIN, which I rejected too. But now the GDE has not responded to my appeal, I suppose to force my hand in taking my child to that school. Their system is very flawed and very inconsiderate. The school I was applying to, is only 3km from my house, and 2.6km from my workplace. I do not understand why they are punishing my child like this. I am very disgruntled as a parent. My child keeps asking where will she go for grade 1, but we do not know. The department of basic education, of Angie Motshekga and the Lesufi's of SA is letting our children down.
Darren at iKhokha gave me a super excellent service. I submitted a "call me back" on their website at night, and 1st thing in the morning he called and explained everything that I needed to know about iKhokha. He has been very patient with me, as soon as I sent the required information and documents he processed my order. I am a happy customer. He's very friendly, and knows his job. High5 Darren!
Discovery health seems to be a scam of lately. I took a medical aid cover in March, 2018 and there was a certain condition they said they're not covering, I agreed. In April I went to consult a GP, and my illness had nothing to do with that "condition" they're not covering. The GP claimed, and Discovery refused to settle the claim. I called Discovery to query that, and explained to the consultant that my reason to consult was not to do with that clause of theirs ("condition-specific waiting period for this dependent"), he told me to hold the line for him while he speaks to someone, I held for a while, he came back to the line and apologized and said they will resubmit that claim and someone will call me back. Till today, no one has called, and the claim still not paid, it still has a rejected status. I have paid that bill myself because I cannot owe the GP for a long time, especially since I stand to be blacklisted. Again, I went to consult yesterday, 16 Jul 2018. I just received an sms from the GP asking me to settle the account. That means I must pay another R490 to the GP. That's almost a thousand. I pay discovery almost R5000 every month, without failure. I took that medical aid because my family and I need it, but whenever I NEED it, they DO NOT HELP. Where the hell must I get R1000 to pay the practitioner when I have paid R5000 to discovery? Am I some sort of a money making machine? I am not pregnant, I gave birth in March. When I consulted in April, it had nothing to do with pregnancy. When I consulted yesterday, it had nothing to do with pregnancy. I have been referred to a specialist for some investigation, but how must I go if I know they will not be paid? I did not know that the "condition specific waiting period" would mean that I MUST NEVER FALL ILL for a period of a year. I would NEVER HAVE TAKEN THE COVER could they have explained that to me. This is, in anyway, a 3rd medical claim. I want to be reimbursed all this money, and I am canceling the medical aid. I will look for a medical aid company that will not reject all my claims while they enjoy my premiums.
I bought "Victorian style" sofas from Lifestyle furniture, a few months later they became uncomfortable to sit on. I took them to an upholstery, only to find out that they have actually been filled with junk. There is no proper sponge or at least springs. They are very hard, your back will ache 30 minutes after seating on them. They are not worth the money paid for them. They sell us junk. The product is nice on the outside but baddest quality ever.

I placesd an order online on the 01st Feb and paid for delivery for the next day because I did not want to wait for the standard 7 days delivery terms. I still have not received my order and the customer care consultants keep on saying that the store manager will contact m. I haven't been contacted by anyone, and I do not even know which store manager to be exact because they just keep saying the store manager.

I just tried to call the customer care again and now they are telling me that my order has been delivered. I have not received anything. Can they then show my the delivery documents as proof??

I need a refund now because I am not having any joy with your service. I knew that I urgently needed my product hence I Paid for delivery. I am not stupid. It is now Friday and it means I will go home without anybody telling me what is happening. Really!
My name is Masego Motang. I am writing this review on behalf of my mother Mrs. Monica Motang. She is an old woman who lives in a rural area, in Gopane near Zeerust. She recieved a call last week from a company that she doesn't know the name. The lady who called her told her that she works hand to hand with Standard bank and the road accident fund, they can see that she is a Standard bank client and has been for a long time. She then "sold" a policy to my mother, requesting her banking details, and other personal details, of which my mother doesn't understand what it is exactly.

The only thing that she understands is that when she dies her beneficiaries will recieve money. She then went to Sandard Bank branch in Zeerust, the consultants in Zeerust did not understand what she is talking about and said they cannot see anything on their side. They then warned her that it could be a scam as it was a telephone call that she recieved from people who want to sell her something and then request her banking details.

We all undertand that there are many many scams out there, targeting old women and people who aren't educated much abou these thing. My innocent mother, was made to give her consent to buy this product that she doesn't know about. She called me this morning explaining about it, she is scared money will start disappering from her bank account. She is unemployed, she only recieves money from me every month.

With her request and frustrations, she would like to cancel this policy. I tried to call standard bank brokers but now they are refusing to cancel with my instructions because I am not the policy holder. My mother CANNOT call through, she will not be able to follow the voice prompts. She will not understand anything on that phone.

May I request someone to call her, and assist her to cancel this policy. She doesn't need it. We do not to recieve any money on her name when she is DEAD. Please!!!

Kindly also call me back for any clarity.

Good Day

I would like to put forward my dissatisfaction with the ABSA credit card division. I have an ABSA credit card which I had for years and have been unable to pay the monthly installment for the past three months. I have been receiving my statements and calls. The last call that was made to me was last week Thursday and Friday. On the phone I was told that the total amount that I owe to ABSA is R5434.52, which is also and I promised that I will pay all of it this week as I intend to close the account.

Yesterday, the 20th April 2016 I made a payment at Centurion Mall of R5450.00 of which it is more that what I was supposed to pay. This morning I made a call to the Credit card division asking the consultant who was helping me to kindly assist me to close the account. The gentleman who was assisting me tells me that I still OWE money.

What is it for? What money if I just settled the account??? Can I get clarity here?? I really refuse to be robbed by the bank. It is a strategy of keeping people indebted? Even when we are trying so hard to honor our accounts and stay out of debts???

Thanks,
Miss EM Motang.
I bought a Hisense TV set in may (Hisense D33 32\ HD Ready LED TV S) from an online store
