On 2/10/2023, I placed an online order for books and received confirmation that they would be delivered by 30/10/2023. However, on 02/11/2023, I received another email indicating a new delivery date of 30/11/23. Since 2/12/23, I've been making inquiries by calling their customer service, enduring approximately 15-minute waits on each call. Despite being told during these calls that my query was escalated and that I would receive progress updates via email, I have yet to receive any correspondence. Subsequent calls continue to assure me that the matter is being escalated. This ongoing lack of resolution has left me frustrated. I am seeking guidance on how to proceed, as it has been almost 3 months since I placed the order, and the issue remains unresolved.
I have sent from pillar to post by Defy for the past 3 weeks. I bought a stove from Makro in February. Stove was fittend and was working fine till beginning of June. I began giving error messages and jamming. I called Makro and they logged a call with Defy. The technician came through and said there computer unit is faulty and had to be replaced and was going to order it. Its now been close to 3 weeks and no word from Defy. I have on many occasions tried to call the service centre but the phones just ring and no answer. I am now thinking of returning hte stove to makro and demand my money back. So frustrated.
Towards the end of October I cancelled my rain 5g Wi-Fi using the app. To date no cancellation has been effected. All I get is a message saying our consultant will call you shortly. Is there anyway that I can cancel besides the app. This is so frustrating cause I now have fibre Wi-Fi and can’t go on paying for their services that I don’t need anymore. Does anyone know about a number that I can call to cancel as there are no contact numbers on their site.
Since Wednesday 17 Nov 2021 I have been trying to get a quote from PSG insure. A consultant named Kabo sent me mail and some details to provide. I did that the same day. Have been phoning them and the consultant is forever busy on the line and will get back to me of which he never did. If is so hard to get a simple quote and how hard it’s going to be to claim in unforeseen circumstances. I am discussed by the service I got.
Before the end of October, I have been trying to cancel Rain wi-fi but getting no joy. I have logged on to the internet and cancelled and got a message "the consultant will call you" and for over 7 days the call never came through. I have canceled online close to 5 times. I took on to Facebook and was given a reference and was told a consultant will call me. To my knowledge its was supposed to be easy to cancel on the web by just clicking cancel but yho I'm now frusterated. I have recently installed fibre and this means I will be paying double for data end of the month. If there is someone who know how to do a cancelation please advise.
Bad bad experience. After getting car hire from Insurance I was told to collect the car from Avis Pretoria branch. Waited for 1 hour 30 min for the car and the car they brought was not up to standard. Not up to standard no wheel caps wet from just being washed. My insurance discovery insure was also not helpful also. I think it’s about time to chance insurance.

On the 15th my son cracked a TV screen whilst playing. On the 17th I lodged a claim with discovery using the app. Claim was allocated to Muziwakhe Nxele a Claim administrator. Within 2 hours he called to get details and asked for photos of the TV which I emailed. Around 4 hours later Muziwakhe called me to inform me claim was approved and I would receive a voucher to purchase a new TV. Within 30 the voucher was SMSed to my phone. I just want to thank discovery for the excellent and prompt response even in this time on the pandemic.
In the 2nd of July I was depositing money at an ATM and all was retracted and got a receipt saying I money retracted and I must contact a branch. When to Sunnyside branch to report and got a reference number on my phone saying the query will be due on the 9th. Today is the 10th and no word from standard bank even after being promised they would call me. Today, the 10th I phoned standard bank and am told that they haven’t resolved the issue because their ATMs have to be balanced first in order for my money to be refunded. My question is, does it take this bank a week to balance their ATMs? If this is the case I think I’m at the wrong bank. Firstly it was their ATM that malfunctioned but I am the one who is taking the knock. That is unfair
I took a contract with Telkom Mobile and ported my old number over to them. Phone was working fine at first but for the past 6 weeks I have been having a problem with incoming calls that are being rejected. I have phoned telkom call centre six times and firstly they said I had barring on my phone and was given USSD to cancel. That did not work and called again and was given a different USSD of which was not working on my phone. For the third call I was told the number was not properly ported and they will relay their porting department to fix and I must wait 48 hour for that to take effect. After 3 days without any change I called again and this time was told the matter would be escalated and must wait 72 hours for a resolution. This was 7 days ago and still some of my incoming call are not coming through. I can't be paying for service I am not receiving so I am pleading with Telkom to cancel my contract if they can't provide the service or fix this issue.
