I needed to transfer money to my husband only to get a letter requiring me to do a letter for FICA purposes. I am then advised that the turn around time is 24 to 48 hours. I then received an email more than 48 hours later (just before the weekend) to advise me that I now need an affidavit so now I wait until Monday to wait for another 24 to 48 hours turn around time. This is ridiculous. If they needed an Affidavit why didn't they ask for one in the first place instead of asking for it more than 48 hours later. As usual you can only speak to a call centre agent whose standard phrase is "there's a turn around of 24 to 48 hours". Those funds needed to be transferred urgently and alternative arrangements have been made due to their incompetence. I am losing daily interest whilst they mess me around. I will be closing my personal and business accounts with FNB due to incompetence and lack of accountability.
Pudo sent me a locker number on Tuesday, 27 February 2024 on my Pudo phone app which I opened the same day and upon opening I realized my parcel was too big so I had to rearrange it so instead of closing it again I left it slightly open whilst I sorted out my parcel which took about 15 minutes. Once it was the correct size I put it back in the locker and closed the locker. I then checked on Thursday, 29 February 2024 only to see that it had been pending and was now cancelled which means it wasn't reflecting as having been received. The issue started when I couldn't get hold of anyone. I sent an email only to be told to check with the person who deposited (ME) and sent me a reference number. I then phoned the Courier Guy who own Pudo and they gave me a phone number which doesn't get answered. I then found a WhatsApp number which doesn't get rep**** to. Eventually after going around in circles and many emails later and letting them know I will be putting them on Hellopeter I have received another password without advising me what I am supposed to do and whether my parcel is still there or what the next procedure is. I am at my wits end with their total lack of customer service. I just hope someone else hasn't been allocated my locker and helped themselves to my parcel.
DPD Laser have been with my Mango Clothing returned parcel for over a month and haven't forwarded it to Mango for my refund. This is totally unacceptable. If I was Mango Clothing I'd find another courier service.
I bought a trench coat online from Mango, completed the necessary online forwarding documentation and received the trench coat. It didn't fit so I did an online return and on 11 April DPD Laser came back and fetched my parcel. Two weeks later I phoned DPD Laser only to be told that they still hadn't dispatched the parcel to Mango. I find this totally unacceptable that it is now over a month and I cannot speak to anyone at the courier service who can help and I sit waiting for my refund. If I was Mango I would change my courier service to someone more reliable and contactable.
A car was rented from Lanseria Airport last week, upon returning the car it was noted that a numberplate had fallen off. The person doing the inspection asked my husband to complete a form and said he could see that the sticky doublesided tape had come loose and there was no damage. Upon receiving the invoice it was noted that an amount of R2 478,10 had been deducted for a new numberplate. My husband has been Presidents Club for many years, rents cars often and this is how they treat their valued customers. It is impossible to get hold of anyone at the Lanseria branch as they do not answer their phone and held on for over an hour.
Supaquik needs to distance themselves from Disky as not only do they not deliver but when questioned lie. Six weeks later, R800 fine for driving an unlicensed car & they have rhe cheek to be rude, tell me they will reimburse me and I must do it myself. How they are still in business is anyone's guess. Supaquik is aware and said they have had nothing but complaints. Incompetence, lies and arrogance is all you will get from them. Stay away!
Uber put through an incorrect amount of R760,00 a couple of minutes after putting through another amount of R99,00. When the uber driver was contacted he said he had another address which is a lie and he never went to that address anyway. The address on the uber app should have cost no more than R30,00. He was so rude and put the phone down!!! Uber needs to check their fraudulent drivers activities.
Telephoned Game Watercrest and was told no-one was in the vacuum cleaner department. I kept being put through and put on hold so eventually phoned back only to be told no one could assist me. I asked if she could perhaps either look on the system or get someone to look to see if they had a vacuum cleaner I was told that someone would call me back. I told her it was quite urgent as I was going out and needed to know whether I must head towards Watercrest or Pavillion. She sounded totally disinterested and took down my details. I am still waiting. Game's service is non-existent. No wonder they are often empty.
I purchased an assembled chest of drawers and when enquired was told that the top corner was not flush. Thinking that was the only issue I purchased the chest of drawers, only to find out that due to the top corner not sitting flush it compromised the entire chest of drawers and once the drawers are filled the entire chest of drawers collapsed. Mr P has a "no shop soiled items will be accepted or returned policy". However the CPA provides that every transaction falling within its scope will have an "implied warranty of quality". So all goods are sold with the expectation that they are of good quality (will last at least 6 months), are in good working order. This product is not useable and collapsed when used. In fact it shouldn't even have been sold but returned to the supplier. Had I known that it was not just the top corner but the entire drawers were compromised and faulty I would never have purchased this. If I do not receive a refund or credit I will be taking this matter further.
