I wish I could give them a lower rating: terrible company, poor staff who are not interested in their jobs. I am an existing tenant and app**** for a larger unit. Three months later, no response (they have a 10-day turnaround!). When querying this delay, they made up some excuse about the application being cancelled because it was incomplete. No reason was given, and I know for a fact it wasn't. I am a business owner, I wish I could get hold of this business owner they would be horrified if they knew how bad their staff are.
Purchased a R40k Dell Latitude on the 25th of April, I was told 2-3 days to get to Cape Town. It is now 10 days later and nothing has arrived. I think they are advertising stock they don't have. Many calls and emails to Gareth Purchase (Sales Account Manager) go unanswered. Buyer beware
I am a long standing Axxess client with multiple services from them. Since they lost their independence, the service from them is shocking. For example today 31 March I want to cancel a Telkom Fixed LTE service and move to MTN LTE. They tell me I can't because its the last day of the month. So given the 30 day notice it is now 2 months until I can move the service.. They do this to lock their clients in making it impossible to move.
I have been a premier customer of Cell C for 10 years. I have had 4 to 5 accounts with them in my personal capacity, payment is made automatically on the 30th of each month off my Credit Card. In February they sent me an SMS saying my international roaming has been cancelled and I should call the call center to activate if needed. I travel frequently but given restrictions now have not. I am about to go on an international trip and called in to active the roaming. They gave me a proper running around telling me there are arrears (there are not) and then placed me on hold for 25 minutes. Still not resolved. Moving to another service provider when I get back.
I have a number of accounts with Axxess and have been happy the last few years, something has happened though and their service is terrible. Impossible to get hold of people and turnaround on email support is 5 days and still they don't resolve the issues. Going to move to another provider.
Always the most incredible service, very knowledgeable staff who do everything to make sure your experience is awesome... Compared to the horror of Auric Auto in Claremont. Thanks to all the staff at the Salt River branch
My wife has an X3 which she was keen on trading in on a New Mini at Auric Auto. The most bizarre experience, we knew exactly what we wanted (top of the range Countryman), they gave us an embarrassing trade in value 50% off the retail and when I told them they need to re-look at it they said they would come back to me. This was a month ago. Clearly don't want to sell cars.
Contracted QC Compliance to do the necessary compliance checks for property transfer. Really terrible experience, total money making scam. There were so many suggestions of things that needed rectifying and they were not necessary. Interestingly they did the compliance on the property we purchased and told the seller she needs to move the geyser to a different location which was also nonsense. We are in the new house and they gave the beetle certificate, less than a year later one of our doors is completely infested with boring worms and needs to be replaced. Their certificate is so vague, no beetles but there might be! Please don't waste your money here. Get your existing plumbers, electricians etc to do the compliance, a bit more expensive but legit.
I always like to use small companies in the hope that this filters down to creating entrepreneurial employment. Unfortunately this often leaves me dissapointed. I moved home and asked Cape TV Insallers (http://capetvinstallers.co.za/) to setup my DSTV decoder in my new property. They arrived, replaced the LNB and turned on the decoder. For this 5 minute job R1600! The LNB is R450, they charged me R950, then on top of that they charged R350 call out fee and R375 labour. Unfortunately there is nothing one can do but pay. I just feel sorry for the two guys who came to do the work, they are under instruction of their boss. Do not use this company!

I purchase a Nikon AW110 in August 2013. I have probably used it 10 times since then. It packed up on holiday and I took it to Nikon in Cape Town. The camera cost me R3500, they quoted me R3000 for the repair (which is clearly as a result of a design fault). It of course makes no sense to repair the unit but then they still want R120 for the diagnostic fee.. Forget it! Never again will I purchase a Nikon product.
