I am extremely dissatisfied with both the quality of couches purchased from Rochester and their refusal to take responsibility for clear defects. The first instalment for the couches was paid on 30 September 2024, and the furniture is still within what I understand to be the 2-year manufacturer’s warranty. I am also currently paying insurance on the items. After purchase, multiple defects began appearing across the couches. I reported some of the items, and Rochester collected one couch and the headrest of another for assessment. I have now been informed that the damage is being classified as “personal damage” and that they will not be held responsible. This is completely unacceptable. There are no visible signs of misuse such as tears, cuts, or external damage. The issue is internal. The seating structure or inner cushioning has deteriorated, causing the couches to sink and lose support. This is not something that can reasonably be attributed to normal use or accidental damage. In addition, the defects are not isolated. Multiple couches within the same set are affected, including items that were not part of the initial claim. This clearly points to a product quality issue rather than customer damage. I have requested a full replacement of the couches, as I have no confidence in the durability or quality of the product. Instead, my concerns have been dismissed without a fair or transparent explanation. I am now escalating this matter further, as I believe this reflects poor product quality and inadequate after-sales support. I would strongly caution potential customers to consider this experience before purchasing from Rochester.
I made a layby with rochester a year back, when I try to cancel it, they are giving me the run around with my refund request. This has been going on for weeks. Stating that I need to provide an affidavit for my own money.
I bought 5 products only one was delivered. According to the info on their website my order was fullfilled. I've been sending countless emails no response. Their telephone line is unavailable. How do I get hold of these people.
I have been trying to contact Telkom regarding my contract (landline) that has been cancelled. I have been sent from pillar to post. My account has apparently been handed over. Yet no-one can provide me with the debt collectors details. This is affecting my credit score. Please someone assist. So that I can get this thing sorted.
My Nedbank personal loan account was handed over to T J Moadi Inc. I have however paid it in full the 25 October 2019. To-date Nedbank has not updated their systems, even though it is pass the 20 working days. I have sent numerous emails to TJ Moadi for assistance - they are not responding. My ITC has not been updates. Nedbank is unable to assist. WHO must I contact for them to update my profile. This is affecting my credit record. I had to sacrifice alot to be able to settle my Nedbank loans. The least they can do is update my their systems. Every day I do follow-up's with no response. can someone urgently assist!!!
I am actually disgusted with the food I received from Mr D, I bought a pizza from Del Forno...it is ice cold. and its not the first time my orders are cold, I could have rather stayed hungry
I am in desperate need of HELP!! I have been in contact with wesbank for months now and every time I get a different story. I had to finish at work - 31 August 2018, I am currently 6 months pregnant and will not be able to find another job at this stage. I am unable to go ahead with my installments. I have however managed to find a private buyer for my vehicle - who is giving me the best deal (Since I have been to most dealers). But no one can seem to assist me in getting this sorted. The approval letter is only valid for 7days. Please can someone get back to me!!
I bought HOOVER WET & DRY vacuum cleaner about 3 months back. I have only used it twice. This past weekend I tried to use it again and just smelled smoke. I took it back to Game Cresta today. The service i received was horrible. I do not want the vacuum cleaner to be sent for repairs, I want a new one. I paid for a product that is suppose to work not something that has to go in for repairs after every second use. I would advise no-one to buy appliances from Game. It is not your moneys worth. Game you suck and so does your customer service. Utterly disgusted.
I ONLY FIND OUT TODAY THAT MY CAR INSURANCE HAS BEEN CANCELLED BY AIG SINCE MAY. BUT THEY HAVE DEDUCTED THE INSTALLMENT. ARE YOU NOT SUPPOSE TO INFORM YOUR CLIENT THAT YOU WILL BE CANCELLING THE CONTRACT ??? AND WHAT IS THE REASON FOR IT BEING CANCELLED?? WHY ARE YOU DEDUCTING MONEY?? I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH YOU GUYS...WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?? CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GET BACK TO ME ASAP!!!YOU HAVE NOT EVEN INFORMED MY BROKER ABOUT THIS!***??
