I wrote a review recently pleading for anyone thinking of buying from Lifestyle Home not to do so. Well, here I am definitely thinking this is a ****. I paid for my two chairs on 19 Oct 2025 and they promised to have it ready by 7 Jan. Well, they keep coming up with excuses. On 23 Jan I was given the good news when I phoned that the chairs will finally be ready on 26 Jan. On that date, I called and was told they are waiting for a truck to deliver a small component needed for chairs and Tuesday definitely it'll be ready for pickup. Haven't heard from them. On 30 Jan they told me the chairs were apparently delivered to thei Cape Town warehouse despite thrm confirming a centurion pickup the previous week. But they are waiting for the truck to arrive Saturday morning and they'll have it ready for pickup on the day. In fact, they'll not only call me ehen truck arrives but also incl a free firepit! What a joke. Its Monday. They aren't answering phones. My 14 yr old daugter said I must just accept its a ****. Well, I wont leave them alone. This is now my little.project to ruin these *******. Please DONT EVER USE THIS **** COMPANY. the positive reviews are all done by themselves so dont be fooled by those! STAY AWAY PLEASE! STAY AWAY! YOU WILL BE ****MED OUT OF YOUR MONEY AND YOU WONT HEAR FROM THEM AGAIN!
I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered from this utterly useless company. People, I beg you...stay away! If that wasnt clear enough then you cant blame anyone for being frustrated to hell and back. I paid 19 October for 2 chairs. Just two chairs. Nothing major. Nothing special. Jist two chairs. Here were...3 months later amd counting and their updates are useless. Phone several times. If u take option 2 to check up on existing order they dont answer. Take option 1 which is for new business. They make sure to answer that line. But dont expect them to be honest. They will tell you they'll call you back and then they dont. And when they do call, if the line is bad and you get cut, they wont make the effort of trying again. It wouldve been easier if I had ordered a hi-tech super car from Germany. Would've been here already. These guys cant even deliver 2 little chairs in good time. Please stay away...in case you missed my initial plea.
Normally reliable but when they drop the ball they really do it spectacularly. Im suppose the ha e left at q6.20 and I've been getting regulat whatsaps about the flight. Except for when it got delayed! Nothing!!! No whatsaps. No emails. No announcements. We are standing here like a bunch of ******s waiting for news about when it'll depart. Nothing. Pathetic. Becoming thr norm in SA. When service goes wrong...silence. after a tough day last thing I wanted to do was wait forever in a line to board without any updates!
Most pathetic bunch! Stay away! Ive been with this company for 20 years and they have just become worse and worse. My email isnt working and there is no way in hell you can call them. They refer you to their online chat which sets a record for a new low and being rhe most unless. Its a struggle to define the problem soth the limited options the chat provide and once u are connected to a so-called person on the other end there is simply no response. In the meantime while u wait u can't disconnect and move to another page or do something else on your phone as youll lose the chat. What a bunch of useless clowns. If you consider mweb stay away. Please. U won't get hold of them to resolve an issue and you will have! Trust me!
Stay away! I used them three years ago to extend the wifi signal in and around my house. At the time, their initial pricing was a bit steep and I pushed back and we finally agreed on a price and they did a good job. Fast forward three years, I have a new house, contacted them again to do the same, and they made an appointment to do initial assessment. However, a day before their promised arrival, I suddenly get an email stating that three years ago I rejected their price and hence they would like to make sure I understand their pricing. Basically, they didnt like that i previously pushed back on their pricing (as I obtained a second quote to make sure that the price they offered were within reason). While I didnt respond to their email about pricing concerns, they ended up not pitching up as they were clearly concerned that I may not be happy with whatever quote the were gonna give me. In other words, they've decided that since I questioned their price previously, I wasnt worth helping out this time. They clearly dont like it when customers question their excessive pricing - they want a world where they can give you any pricing and you must not question it - you must accept it and pay up! What a joke! Please avoid this company as they are clearly only in the business of making lots of money and cant even see the opportunity of doing work for someone who certainly has the ability to pay, but, within my rights, does question when a quote seems excessive. There is much nicer service providers out there. Avoid this one if you can.
A big shout out for a company that takes customer service extremely serious. I ordered a couch at the beginning of the year, waited 2 months and when it arrived, i had a problem with it. I contacted Coricraft Kramerville, the complaint was escalated and before I knew it, I was contacted by senior staff to address the issue. No excuses were made though there was an acknowledgement of the initial miscommunication. However, it was made clear that the company takes customer service very serious - and they literally walked the talk. My concerns were addressed almost immediately and it worked out better than expected. Having been a customer of Coricraft for over 20 years, it was the first time I had an issue and the professionalism with which my concerns were address were testimony to their promise of excellent service. I would highly recommend Coricraft and they have certainly convinced me that, while miscommunication often takes place, there is no excuse for it and they have won me over with their ability to address my initial concerns, but more importantly, ensure that action is taken to ensure that customers and their concerns/feedback is taken serious. I wish more businesses can follow their example. Thanks again to all involved at Coricraft head office and Kramerville branch.
Stay away. This airline is an insult to low cost airlines. I had a ticket to fly from Cape Tiwn to Joburg on Monday, 9 Sep, but on 6 Sep I got a message that my 2pm flight was canceled and I can book another time. I picked 16.40. We'll the flight was delayed further to 16.40 but as I arrived at airport they moved flight to 17.40 and it eventually left at 18.00. We were boarded even though tue fuel truck didn't arrive and we had to sit and wait for fuel truck. The wait wasn't overly long but considering the journey to this point I wouldn't want to ever fly this airline again! Stay away!
The restaurant manager should be fired. A bunch of us with kids visited the Mozambik restaurant at Centurion Mall for dinner on 20 March. The manager came around a few times asking if things were all right and was quite friendly. However, one member of our group found a hair in her prawn dish, so we called the manager and showed him the hair. To our surprise (and shock), instead of apologizing, he immediately stated that the hair must be belonging to one of us, clearly suggesting we are trying to deliberately sabotage our own meal for whatever gain. Showing him the hair, which was clearly different from our hair in the group, he insisted that it belongs to her or one of us and couldnt care less for any other alternative. Not sure whether he was suggesting we are deliberately trying to score a free meal (which we weren't as money was clearly not an issue and it was rather that we wanted a replacement meal) or whether there were other prejudices at play. In the end, he refused to even acknowledge that it could've come from his kitchen and though he offered to deduct the meal (he never offered a replacement meal) from the bill, it left a bad taste in our mouths anyway. This guy is clearly not fit for managing such a major restaurant or need to get training on customer service. While we always liked Mozambik's food, we wont be visiting Mozambik any time soon...if ever again.
On 1 Sept I went to Sandton City Fishaways and ordered hake and chips. While waiting for my food I noticed the one lady that puts the food packs together doesn't use any gloves or tongs. She uses her bare hands to put the fish into the paper and wrapped it while touching other areas such as counter etc with her hands. I immediately called on the cashier to call the manager. Well, the so-called manager was too scared to come out to apologise and instead sent the cashier to simply give my money back. No apologies. Not alternative offerings. Nothing. They clearly doesn care about hygiene or customer service. Pathetic! Dont eat there people. Hygiene is non-existent! You dont want to get sick. Who knows what else is touched with those hands. You are taking a huge risk by ordering food from this particular branch. Stay away!
CCD Couriers are liars. Keep sending me sms's to tell me they 'are trying to contact me' to deliver my fnb cards. what a bunch of liars! they never called and yet keep sending me messages. three weeks ago I phoned them and asked them to tell me exactly when they tried to call me - the lady lied more by giving me dates and I told her I'm looking at my phone and there were no calls. today again...three sms's that they are trying to get hold of me but it is clear they refuse to call and instead wait for you to call them so they can save on phone bill. pathetic. I'll probably never get my fnb cards but I refuse to call them as they are clearly lying and not willing to call me to arrange delivery. not sure why fnb keep using these clowns.
