To sign up for their reward program you need to do it in store. They still do not understand that this is 2025 where things are digital. But since none of their website functionality works it is to be expected. They probably manage their suppliers on an xls spreadsheet.
I read the reviews but ignored them, and here we are. Once you buy this product, you are on your own. They have a QR code on the box that allows you to download an ebook. This does not work. They do not respond to email. Their after-sales service is very very bad. Rather just buy an EMS massager at Dischem. Same thing, but you've got somewhere to go.
Very expensive and very bad service. They will take your money, but don't expect much for it.
They treat your packages with the utmost respect, and there is zero accountability. Properly packaged and with fragile stickers on, they don't give a F*****. These people should not be in the courier business.
Horrible is the only safe for work word that comes to mind. No updates on orders, extremely long delivery times (yes they say 10 working days which is a lie) and no support.
It started with an online order. Their 'click and collect' function did not work as expected (order and collect at a branch of your choosing). Instead, you could only collect at a branch that has stock. In my case, the order was divided into 3 orders, each to be collected in a different city. When I questioned this with the branch I got no response. I then contacted HQ and they confirmed that this is the way it works because moving stock has a financial impact. After an exchange lasting 2 days, they offered to do me a favour and send everything to one branch. After I placed the order and sent the order number they did not respond so I requested a refund. Been longer than a week and I still do not have my money. When I raised these issues on their social media and advised people to be careful when using their online service they deleted my posts and blocked me. I would never recommend them due to highly ********* business practices and abysmal customer service.
Bought a pepper spray from their Elarduspark store and 2 weeks later found out that it did not work, a complete dud when you push the trigger. So I went back to the store only to find that they had closed down with no notice on the shop front. If I had to use this device in a life-or-death situation then clearly I'd be dead today. Won't buy anything from them ever again.
Their website does not provide the most basic of functions - to pay without adding a beneficiary. You have to use the mobile app on a device that is not optimized for typing, to do it. And the support agent is 100% useless and clueless. It took her 5 minutes to figure out that their website does not have this function. I also had to explain my problem multiple time after she kept on trying to explain to me how to add a beneficiary. With no other option I started doing this on the mobile app and after the tedious task of filling in all the details on a stupid little screen I clicked next and the app closed on me. They decided that I was typing for too long and timeout the connection. HOW DO YOU TIME OUT WHILE THE USER IS TYPING!!!!!!! Will never recommend discovery bank.
While the initial idea sounds really cool we all know that the proof is in the pudding, or in this case, as soon as you need the insurance you pay for each month. When I dared to use my insurance they responded by increasing not only my premium but also my Excess by 10%. So much for any lower premiums. Now I want to cross the border and getting information from them took5 hours, or as they say, shake of some animals tail. I then phones and asked how I go about getting a cross-border letter and was told to send an email request, the response is within a day. Yip, no response, NADA, nothing. Insurance companies all have their issues because they are in the business of trying to ***** you but naked takes it to the next level by combining bad service with the *****ing. I am off to look for new insurance as soon as the new year is here.
One of those 'service' providers who work strictly from an idiot cheat. They do not bother to spend 30 seconds reading your request, they stop at the first works that correspond to a touch point on their chart and then respond with ******* that makes no sense. And beware, due to their flawed process I found out that returns would be an absolute nightmare. They make it as difficult and inconvenient to return. To get the process started you have to download and complete a manual form, scan it back and then email it to them. Wondering what their fax number is :). Lesson learned, I won't be using them again.
