We signed up for a new line on and it was installed 31 July 2025 and searched online and thought that mweb has customer service, so we selected them. It says a new setup worth R1745 as per the screenshot attached.1 week later our line is cut. When we contacted the customer service it states that we are charged for installation and the month in advance. If we were advised that there is no free installation I would have gone with a reputable isp that offers the exact service with the free installation. Iv had multiple isp's previously and never have I been told to pay for a service the exact same day it's installed and also to be charged a new installation. Why is such a huge isp having false advertising? Also seeing that it's been 7 days I feel we can cancel and rather go to a reputable isp that is honest and not deceiving.
Pathetic customer service from the salesman and the VP / salesman. These people seem to judge people by appearance. We walked in there on Saturday 22 February 2025 and asked for a specific car as we my girlfriend wanted to purchase it. The salesman first says his closed. We asked to see the inside the vehicle and started the vehicle and we're bothe checking out the features. When we requested to go for a test drive then the salesman "said that the insurance only covers until 12pm and it's 12h40pm".we requested that the application papers bee sent via email and all morning there has been issues. My girlfriend requested to purchase it in her business name and then was advised it's not possible as she needed some document from the traffic department The thing is that she purchased a abkkie for the business and was not advised that is a requirement. 2nd red flag..then when I called in today I asked why can't she test drive the vehicle? I was told that she first needs finance approval first,so Saturday the salesman **** to us. So if they can lie about that what else are they lying about?
Been contacting this contact center multiple times. all agents have been lying to me and giving me contradictory information. If I could give zero stars I would as it has been the worst experience ever going on months already.spoken to multiple agents and team leads and everyone is giving giving different information.
I have submitted a review previously about the poor customer experience I encountered at this particular branch. (Pinelands,Cape Town). I have now experienced 7 times poor customer service and multiple managers that just say they will sort it out and yet again today the same issues. They don't have a scan machine for you to earn points, the cashier inputs it manually and most of the tym they don't even do it. Ontop of that they give attitude when you question it. I can accept 1 time or 2 times but 7 times is ridiculous and nobody seems to care about resolving these issues. Iv visited multiple other branches and had zero issues but Pinelands its a daily thing. How do you have such poor customer service at the same establishment and nobody seems to care ??
Pinelands branch does not give you points when you give your M-colde as they don't have a scan machine which will alleviate this issue...
I placed a pick 3 bet online and the payout was R17484. I was supposed to be paid out R1100 as I had 0.625% but then Marshall's World of sports only paid me out R585. Well they saybthat is according to their terms and conditions. Do not fall for their false advertising of any large amounts won.
I have been trying to contact them with regards to results of my ********/fingerprints that was done by the Operations team on Cape Town. Iv contacted via Twitter email and calling and nobody is willing to help. NOT WORTH ALL THE ENERGY AND TIME
STAY AWAY FROM PLANET 42!PATHETIC AND ARROGANT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WANTED TO CANCEL MY RENTAL AS I HAD MY CAR FOR MORE THAN THE STIPULATED 6 MONTHS AS ADVERTIZED ON THEIR WEBSITE. I CALLED IN NUMEROUS OF TIMES TO INQUIRE AND WAS ADVISED BY CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM ALL DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS THAT IS WHAT IS CORRECT AND THAT MY UPCOMING DEBIT ORDER IS THE LAST ONE. ANYWAYS THAT IS NOT WHERE IT ENDED,IT WAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCE AS THE CALL GETS TRANSFERED AND THEN IT DROPS, I CALL BACK AND THEN THE SAME THING HAPPENS AND WHEN I POINTED THIS OUT THEN I GOT ATTITUDE FROM THE STAFF!!!I CALLED IN ALSO DAYS BEFORE MY DEBIT ORDER WAS DUE AND FOR SOME REASON IT WAS SET EARLIER ,I CALLED IN ADVISED OF THIS ALSO MULTIPLE TIMES DURING THE RENTAL PERIOD AND NOTHIBG WAS DONE,INSTEAD I GOT CALLS ,EMAILS AND SMS ABOUT FAILED PAYMENT FOR 3 DAYS CONSTANTLY WHICH OBVIOUSLY ANNOYED ME.THAT AS WELL NOT EVEN ANY EMPATHY AND A PROMOSE TO REMEDY IT!!!THEN I WAS GIVEN WRONG INFORMATION ABOUT THE CANCELLATION PROCESS AS TO WHAT IS REQUIRED ETC. APPARENTLY AN EMAIL WAS SENT AND IT ENDED UP IN MY JUNK EMAIL.CLEARLY EVEN YAHOO KNOWS ABOUT THEM AS WELL LOL. ANYWAYS I CALLED IN 5 MORE TIMES AND CONVENIENTLY THE DAY THAT THEY TOOK THE DEBIT ORDER I GET A PROPER ANSWER AND EVEN A CALL BACK WHEN THECALL DROPPED, I GET GIVEN THE DROP OFF LOCATION AND ADVISED THAT THE DROP OFF LOCATION IS 24 HOURS SO I WENT AFTER WORK ON THAT DAY , ALSO HAD TO GET SOMEONE TO DRIVE ANOTHER CAR SO THAT I WAS ABLE TO GET BACK HOME AS IT IS IN A REMOTE LOCATION. I WAS ADVISED THAT I SHOULD RETURN LATER BY THE SECURITY AS HIS BOSS NEEDS TO BE THERE, I RETURN AND THEN GET ADVISED TO COME BACK THE SATURDAY, SO I GO BACK AT THE SIPULATED TIME AND THEN GET TOLD AGAIN TO COME BACK WHEN HIS BISS IS THERE , ALL OF THIS I HAVE TO PAY SOMEONE TO FOLLOW ME AND TAKE ME HOME.ANYWAYS I WAS ADVISED TO DROP OFF THE CAR ON MONDAY MORNING WHICH I EVENTUALLY DID AND THEN I GET AN EMAIL ABOUT OWING 7 MONTHS EVEN THOUGH ON THEOR WEBSITE IT STATES CLEARLY THAT YOU CAN CANCEL ANYTIME AS LONG AS ITS BEYOND THE 6 MONTHS,I HAD MY RENTAL FOR 21 MONTHS. ANYWAYS AGAIN ANOTHER LIE FROM THEM, I GET AN EMAIL STATING THAT I NOW OWE THEM 7 MONTHS BUT I CAN DO A SETTLEMENT OF 1 MONTH RENTAL WHICH CAN BE PAID OFF OVER A LONGER PERIOD.ANYWAYS I GET NUMEROUS OF CALLS ALL OF A SUDDEN AS THEY ARE NOW WANTING THEIR MONEY. I EVENTUALLY AGREED AND NOW IM GETTING ALL SORTS OF MESSAGES ABOUT SETTLING THE 1 MONTH SOONER AND I WILL GET CASHBACK. I WAS READING ANOTHER REVIEW AMD THEY ARE TRYING TO DO THE SAME THING TO ME WITH THAT DEBI CHECK BUT I WAS WISE AS I AM MOVING ALL MY DEBIT ORDERS AND MY SALARY TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT, AS THEY STILL HAVE IT APPROVED ON MY BANK ACCOUNT AND ALSO INFORMED ME THAT THEY WILL MONITOR MY ACCOUNT.BOTTOM LINE AFTER THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE IS STAY AWAY FROM PLANET42, LOOK AT ALTERNATIVES RATHER
I went in Game Zevenwacht to inquire about the Samsung 32 inch TV adverti*****t in the pamphlet. The first guy just ignored me ,then I approached a guy behind the desk he just said that there is no stock. So I mentioned that it's advertised til 24th and I was in the store 19th. He just said that there is nothing he can do, I even requeated that he check other stores and just brushed me off. This is not the first time that I have received poor customer service from this store, but I gave them benefit of a doubt to improve my experience but I was so wrong. How can customer service agents address customers like that?
I have been calling the call center almost 100 times. Everytime I get conflicting information. HOW DO YOU EMPLOY PEOPLE THAT HANDLE CUSTOMER QUERIES AND THERE IS UNIFORMITY? DOES EVERY CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT GUESS WHAT INFORMATION TO PROVIDE THE CUSTOMER JUST TO GET RID OF THEM ON THE PHONE? ITS LIKE YOU ARE BOTHERING THEM AND THAT THEY ARE NOT EILLING TO PROVIDE ANY EMPATHY AT ALL. SERIOUSLY PLEASE GO BACK AND REVIEW THE CALLS. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER AND I HAVE HAD VERY BAD EXPERIENCES BEFORE. ITS SUCH A JOKE THAT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE CALL THEY SAY"MOMENTUM IS HERE TO HELP YOU" BUT THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO HELP WHATSOVER. IS THERE NOTHING IN PLACE TO CONTACT A CUSTOMER THAT YOU CAN SEE THAT HAS CONTACTED MULTIPLE TIMES? DOES MOMENT WORK EVEN VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS?I WAS PROMISED MULTIPLE CALLBACKS THAT THE LADY THAT IS HANDLING MY CLAIM WILL CALL ME BACK AND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
