My previous employer did not register me for UIF due to that I can not get my other previous UIF employment funds even when I try to give them proof of employment from the employer who did not register me for UIF though 12 months is not yet up and I am afraid of what I told that after 4 years in will expire and I am being told the is nothing they can assistant me with aih ngeke UIF must fall/bring back the money.

I have app**** for UIF on the 15th of January 2025 and received a date to go back to the UIF office on the 17th of February 2025 which I did and they have given me another date to come back on the 18th of March 2025. I am still waiting for my first payment which is taking over 7 days and still no payment has been received yet I have a friend that collected her first payment within 5 days. I haven't received any email or sms to let me know how my process of the UIF is going. I need this to be sorted out ASAP.

I became unemployed in August. In October I app**** online. I app**** for continuation of benefits. In December I phoned them. They said I needed to submit documents by e-mail. On 3 February I phoned again and they said my application was invalid. I needed to apply after 1 November. I had to then reapply and send documents. Now I am waiting again for them to process my claim.i hope that they back-pay me until October.

Still waiting for jubilee mall Department of Labour uif-claims to respond but they haven’t responded yet,Their service is very poor and we not receiving help on time due to their poor service.

When individuals submit their Unemployment Benefit Claims at Labour Centres, they are referred back to their previous employer to provide information that has already been submitted via Electronic Declarations, in paper format. WHY??? This is absolutely pathetic!!

I would not wish to give a star, but there is no option not to leave one. My son has been unemployed for several months. He has been standing in ques daily, while he is suppose to look for work, to claim UIF. Their system has been off for the last 4 weeks or so for Scheduled Maintenance, but nobody can say, when the sites will be back online. Other provinces have extended times in which they are trying to assist people, but Gauteng is way to special to work on Saturdays to assist people. Further to this, none of their phones are manned, nobody bothers to answer emails that have been send to them. Why do we pay this fee monthly for lazy people that do not assist? I have also send an email to the presidential hotline email, which, just pass the bucket back to that department, not bothering to assist at all. They also have not bothered to answer any of my emails in the last two weeks. How can we get joy?

Been contacting this contact center multiple times. all agents have been lying to me and giving me contradictory information. If I could give zero stars I would as it has been the worst experience ever going on months already.spoken to multiple agents and team leads and everyone is giving giving different information.
