Placed my order on Friday the 14th, received notification on the Monday that my order would be delivered by Friday the 21st. Actually got my order Wednesday the 19th! Good experience with LiveStainable, worth the try!
I had a Tax-Free fixed deposit with ABSA which matured on the 17th October. My wife and daughter had the same accounts. We decided to move these investments away from ABSA to Coronation. On the 20th October emails were sent through to ABSA and to Coronation with all of the relevant forms. Coronation have opened the investments and are now waiting for ABSA to transfer the funds for these 3 investments. I have asked Erika Crous what is happening with these transfers on the 22nd October, only to be told that they have 10 days to do this. I do not understand the reason for this delay. Is it intentional?
I received a call from a Vodacom telemarketer selling me. A new sim only package for my Vodacom package which was nearing renewal. The package offered had voice minutes as well as data. The package offered sounded like what I was after, so I confirmed with the lady that I would be getting both voice and data more than once. She assured me of this and we confirmed the deal. Then once the new package went into effect, I found that I only had data. I called Vodacom to cancel and was told that the matter would be escalated. Then last week I called again and was again told that the matter would be escalated. Until now I have heard nothing but have still had the debit order go off.
I purchased a Hisense-13 Place Dishwasher-Stainless Steel Dishwasher from TakeALot in November 2022. And now 5 months after the warranty expired it is rusting!! I noticed rust spots on my dishes, both racks are rusting. Called Hisense, "I am sorry sir, the warranty is 2 years"!! Poor quality, no wonder it was on promotion at the time!! Ridiculous. I was warned against purchasing Hisense products, now I know why!! A dishwasher should never rust, even after 5 years.
On 27 March, I tried to redeem an ABSA voucher at BurgerKing Northmead. I was helped by Thivhazuni. When placing my order, Thivhazuni told me of a 2 burger special. He wasn't sure of the price but the 2 burger deal sounded good and I changed my order. When the order arrived and I had paid and had the ABSA voucher redeemed, I found the "special" cost R230! I told him that I wanted to change my order to my original request. He said he could that but that I would lose my voucher value. I asked for something else to the value of the voucher but he said that I would be *****ing then? Eventually his 'manager' arrived to try and sort the issue out. He was even more confused and even had one the other ladies trying to explain the situation to him. But he was too arrogant to even acknowledge his ignorance. He didn't even know what a wiCode was for the voucher redemption. He then said I was lying, I was told what the cost would be! My daughter, who was standing next to me and I both heard the wrong thing? Not sure if ABSA want to be associated with this Burger king. I was eventually forced to reluctantly take the "special" or lose my meal. I could not even get a refund or else I would have lost my voucher.
Hello On the 4th Jan, I purchased King Size Combo from the Burger King Ravenswood. There were other items also purchased. The combo consists of 2x junior burgers. One of the burgers did not have a patty. I logged a complaint with Burger King, only to get a response from Jason Michaels saying thanks for telling them. No compensation for not getting the burger which I had paid for.
In August I had purchased a case of Windhoek Draught (bottles). I logged a complaint for a flat beer. Landi did reply with a case No. - 201847604 after I had sent all relevant information requested regarding batch No. etc. However since then I have heard nothing from Heineken. I have tried calling to find out what was going on, but with no joy.
I have a data contract with MTN which i have been trying to cancel for 4 months now. The contract is 'out of contract' so this should not be too difficult! I cannot cancel at a MTN store because this is apparently not allowed. I called in November 2023, Ref 1-4272 461 732, then again on the 16th January 2024, Ref 1-3945 701 4241. This month again the money gets deducted. Can somebody who actually knows how to cancel a contract please call me from MTN?
I had a MTN data sim which I no longer need. The SIM has gone out of contract last year and I tried to cancel it. The Ref No. given to me is 1-4272461732. However despite cancelling, the money is still going off my account. The MTN shops do not want to help me either, telling me to call 135. Now I cannot get through to 135!
Stay away from Skyworth Android steaming players. I purchased one and after trying to log in the pop up keyboard didn't. So the player stayed on the same screen. I returned it and then purchased another one from another store. Same issue. This will also be returned for a full refund. I tried calling their support, thinking they could help me. However, after eventually getting through to Vincent, he just dropped the call after a few minutes of trying to understand him. Then I tried again after while, this took 3 tries after the call rings and gets dropped. Then after I got through to 'Technical Support', the call was dropped after saying Hello. Absolutely **** devise and even worse after sales support.
