I should have actually read these reviews before making my purchase from Sleepmasters Ballito. Their service is just beyond pathetic. Firstly, their floor staff are insanely rude. Whilst speaking with the sales consultant, Awande, another lady screamed across the store as if they were being help up. We were terribly alarmed by that. Then we get told that our delivery would take place on Monday and we even get an SMS to prove it. No delivery so i call the store the next day, apparently this is a system generated message. So eventually on Wednesday we get a call from the delivery guy, with whom we made the necessary arrangements. He failed to deliver on time therefore we could not receive the delivery due to complex rules. Upon calling the store, I spoke to the manager Ellen who promised to copy me in an email which never came through and today when i call the store (Friday, 12.11.25), I am told that she is on leave. This is by far the worst service ever. And don't get me started on the Head Office, they just dont ever answer calls. So this platform is my best bet in an attempt to have my request resolved.
An absolute dream... Everything about Hotel Sky was beyond breath-taking, from the beautiful views at the breakfast table to the warm welcome at the reception desk. It was an absolutely seamless process to secure my booking and I was completely taken by the finer details. It was our wedding anniversary and we were greeted with a beautiful card and a box of sweet treats waiting for us in our room. A 10/10 for cleanliness all round, the breakfast spread was just delightful and the staff were some of the most nicest people I have met. And the location was just perfect since the waterfront is mere minutes away.
The team at Cape Town International really exceeded my expectations. Their welcome and eagerness to assist was overwhelming. The vehicle was a few classes higher than the one I opted for but it was such a pleasure driving. Such a seamless process. Well done guys!
Firstly if there was a “no star” rating option, I would have definitely opted for that. I am beyond disgusted with the agents at Telkom. Even after a 26 minutes call, and being advised that my contract would be cancelled and no further billing would take place, I still get billed and get spoken to like I am a 5 year old. Today I had followed up with Telkom on the cancellation as I had gotten billed for January (despite being told that won’t be the case as my contract was on a month to month) and whilst speaking to the agent I was told that “I should know” this and that the agent has to be reminded that he is speaking to a client and not his friend. I had asked him numerous time to listen to the call recording because we are all threatened that all calls are recorded but this agent kept on insisting that I must pay the bill. Without even paying heed to what I am saying. Telkom, you can ask the agent with whom I spoke to on 09.12.24 to pay the bill as you will definitely not be getting a cent from me!!!
I have an amount which I need to dispute on my credit card (virtual card) and it has taken endless calls & speaking to numerous consultants who keep transferring me to the incorrect departments. Clearly the staff don't know who or where to transfer calls to. They don't know how to apologise, I just get a heavy breathing on the other line which is most frustrating. The problem is yet to be resolved and I am terribly disappointed with the customer support.
OutSurance has always come through for us. We had requested to add on another vehicle to the policy and was totally in awe when we were given the new premium. It was almost R300 saving from other quotes. And the consultant was the most pleasant and beyond helpful. Well done team OutSurance, from your loyal client.
This review is actually for Mr D & PnP. I had placed an order with the hopes of being able to redeem the voucher but i only received 1 part of my order and was billed R140 for a 6 pack of PnP milk, 1 chocolate & the delivery fee. The lack of communication is pathetic considering that this order was placed and paid for by a pensioner who was under the assumption that he was getting a bargain but in fact got betrayed. The agent who answered suggested, he now takes this to a store to request a refund, clearly she knows how to make a joke. He is upset about having to pay all that money and now to add to his troubles he must drive his car almost 20 minutes to get a refund and she also offered a R50 voucher. This type of customer services really is very disappointing.
So today I received the notification on premium increase from Outsurance and wasn't too happy with the new premium. I called Outsurance and was transferred to one of the most amazing humans ever!!! Kirwin from Outsurance (Review department) managed to reduce the premium to an affordable rate and he was an absolute breath of fresh air. Well done Kirwin!!! Awesome customer service :-)
On Saturday evening (10.06.2023) we visited Nando's Pavilion in celebration of my brothers birthday. Meals were ordered and well presented, however, what **** beneath the surface was very disappointing. At the bottom of the plate was a strand of hair which was curly and did not belong to either one of us sitting at the table. Upon discovering this hair (which was at the bottom of the plate... underneath the food) we called the manager. We explained to him that this was found underneath the food and how was it possible for hair to end up there. All we wanted to do was inform him to take stricter health & safety precautions but he got really defensive insinuating that the hair could have come from anywhere. How is it that the food comes straight from the kitchen onto our table and then the hair end up under all the food. We did not want freebies or to cause a scene but he was getting all worked up but I did mention to him that I will be taking his behaviour to social media. (Picture is available) The food was good but you get 1 star for your pathetic customer service.
Talk about Speedy Gonzales!!! Geewiz is something else. Such prompt delivery. Neatly packaged and well communicated. I received my order in under 5 days when I was truly expecting it in a month. Now to just plug this baby up and say Eskom se P@#$
