I host a number of domains on my Afrihost server which I have done for many years. The issue is that I am absolutely unable to escalate a support call or to talk to any manager whatsoever. This is beyond disgusting and is very much unlike the Afrihost of old where customer service was the focus. After trying to get hold of anyone in management for weeks, I am now in the process of transferring my domains and services to Xneelo.
Good day, I have been trying for weeks to get some help yet have been unsuccessful. I have a client who is using a VoIP phone and only gets one way audio. I have called your support office a few times for assistance but have yet to get any decent support. My first call was to a friendly support agent who did not do anything. My second call was to an opiniated useless support agent who would not escalate my call. I need to asks if this is the normal support offered by WebAfrica? Why has my issue not been resolved? At my last attempt at a Whatsapp support session, I was kept waiting for over a day.
Terrible Service. MWEB have changed their systems and are now uncontactable in terms of installations ordered. A company that is not contactable does not deserve to be in business.
My Wish account has been hacked and Wish has failed to contact me meaningfully in this regard, despite me sending at least 60 emails to them in this regard. They really don't care. Wish sent me a 'canned' response, but nothing further. Alibaba/Ali Express is a far more professional company and their prices are usually better than Wish.com, so here's a much better alternative. My recommendations is not to use Wish.com as they do not respond to fraud on their customer accounts. I really do not expect Wish to respond to this report and my aim here is to warn other people of the perils of dealing with this company.
rain with their consistently poor service record is now offering 5G when they cannot even get their 4G network working properly. The call desk personnel are rude and there is NO escalation process. Unbelievable but true. You as a customer have absolutely no recourse. The rain performance is consistently poor with occasional good periods, but the poor periods far outweigh any roi. A tower from which I receive mys service goes down at least 2-3 times per month, and normally after a power failure. rain have about a month ago installed 5G in this unstable tower. Ludicrous, I know. Surely rain should not be allowed to sell a service which they cannot properly provide? I have called numerous times about the same problem, and I get the same message every time : The tower is down and our engineers are attending to it. In December this tower was down at least 2 weeks of the month. Its down right now and power failure ended this morning. Don't use rain at all, but if you have to, use rain in non critical situations. Anything else would be ludicrous.
Very poor service. I purchase a relay from the Plumstead branch and specifically asked the salesperson if I could return it if I did not use it. He said that could. I purchased the relay and did not use it. About 10 days after purchase I went to the store to return the relay. I got a rude surprise when the salesperson told me that I had taken to long tor return it and showed me a sign stating that. At no time during the purchase was my attention brought to that sign. I called the head office who were not very helpful either.
How using rain messed up my business. I used it. Rain is as incompetent as Telkom. They have absolutely no regard for customer satisfaction and really don't care at all about service. Calling rain will only get you -if possible-more frustrated. Their incompetent and poorly trained front end staff have absolutely no idea how to handle a customer complaints and in reality, they don't really care at all. How does this company manage to stay in business while misrepresenting their services? This is nothing less than fraud. In the end I really hope that the South African consumer wakes up to this nightmare and rather pays just a tittle more for a far better service, even from Telkom. Using rain is a very poor idea. The cost savings appear attractive in the beginning while fade into nothing when you have to endure the absolutely poor service offerings.
Just Letting Blouberg is the absolute worst! My daughters flat has been suffering water damage caused by leaking sewerage that Just letting has not yet repaired for over six months. this is hard to grasp but the manager, or should I rather say, damager, of the branch has even refused to meet with me, the father, in order to discuss this. They have sent contractors on site who have to date failed to repair the fault. Really? My daughter is ill because o mold growth and her health is suffering. What is more, the Just Letting employee, Lawrie, just barges itno the flat un announced, with no appointment, and is rude and belligerent to my daughter, and refuses to leave when clearly instructed to do so. I instructed Just Letting that I insist on being present when Lawrie is there as my daughter does not feel safe. Just Letting then told me that Lawrie will no longer visit the flat at all. What a terrible, terrible, uncaring bunch of thieves. Its amazing how a big company can bully the small person with such lack of conscience. I have been now forced to instruct my attorney to take action in this matter.
Please everyone be very careful when dealing with Discovery Medical Aid. What their consultants tell you may not always be the truth. We were assured telephonically that there would be no waiting period if we enrolled on a certain date. We waited for that date and then we were told that there was a waiting period. Discovery lies. There are better options out there and perhaps more honest ones. I think that dealing with a health company OTHER than Discovery is probably a great idea.
MTN is really bereft of any ability to really sort out in depth problems. I wonder what the cause could be? Are they losing qualified personnel to Vodacom or are they just ..well.. MTN as usual? I first report an error in about June 2017. This error occurs when some callers get an error message after calling my umber. The error message is something like 'the number you are calling is not registered' or 'the number you are calling does not exist'. This problem was once again reported to me this morning. This is causing me trading losses and no end of headaches. If MTN cared they would have fixed this error. Waait a sec.. I know who cares...Vodacom. I tried calling MTN support. No way. Their telephone options on 173 do not list any support no. I called the 'stolen phones' option and asked them for the support no. I was told to call 155. Oopps wrong no. So I called back the stolen phones option and spoke to Sherlone Mashila and I asked for a supervisor. After holding on for about 9 minutes, I got told that the supervisor, Nkmosinathi Mshwane would not take my call. All I wanted was for a competent person to give me the correct no. Perhaps Telkom is even superior to MTN, and Telkom is really poor in both sales and support. I wonder what my legal options around this could be?
