The service received from this store was very poor. They promissed to deliver books four weeks ago and could not be bothered to send communication that the books are not ready yet. We have now been over five weeks since schools reopenned without text books. I have followed up weekly and they keep saying next week, and today finally they admit they have no idea when they will get the book. Just unprofessional and no communication. There are better options with delivery that costs less as I have now discovered.
I made an order on Monday the 13th, paying through PayFast after struggling to pay with eBucks. For some reason the payment didn't not reflect on Takealot.com. I contacted them within Ann hour and was told to wait for two hours, end of the day I called and was told they will look into it. Next day I emailed and was told to contact PayFast (the payment platform) my self. At this point I was frustrated but I did. Thursday, still nothing and I was supposed to have received goods on Wednesday, I called and the lady managed to call payfast and said they confirm receipt of funds and what should they do with it. I said credit my account so I can reorder. On the 17th I received confirmation from Payfast that they have allocated to the funds to Takealot.com. its now Monday and the funds have not reflected on my takealot account. I tried to call in the morning and there was no answer for 5 minutes, just reached at 1pm and the lady said she does not know what to do, even after I gave her the case history asked her to check emails for proof of payment and confirmation from Takealot.com. she couldn't tell me what steps I need to take next. I am at a loss ... was I scammed?
TravelSstart is a scam I was scammed by travel start. I booked a car with them and the payment was processed where they took their fee and the rental agency fee. This booking was done with a debit card, and the card has an overdraft facility. The funds on the card was sufficient to cover the retainer / deposit, however, getting to the car rental agency, I was told that they have different policy and my car would not work. On the day, I tried to call travelstart numerous times, and could not get hold of them as they only had whatsapp line in December. I sent messages asking them to cancel as they could not assit me and I booked another car directly with the car rental company using the same card without a problem. I have been trying to get my refund, not for travelstart fees, but for the fee that should have been passed down to the rental company without luck. Its not March, been more than three months, and they refuse to give me my money back. So basically, they took not only their fees, but also the rental fees. If you can, book directly with car rental agency, they will commnunicate their policies before hand and you will have no hussles as at least they are physically there to assist in time. Travelstart is a SCAM. They SCAMMED me.
As valentines slowly approaches, don't even think of getting anything from Netflorist, besides their exorbitant prices, their client service and business model borders on unethical. I bought a basket where the product picture made me believe that is big and can cater for a small family picnic. The picture has plates and cups which made me think its normal dinner planets and cups, but when delivered I was shocked to say the least. I could carry the basket in one hand and lift it up. I could not believe I paid almost R1000 for that. Then I try to return it, am told they will charge me more delivery fees for the collection of the product, and get this 15% handling fee. This is after my company have been buying corporate gifts from them for years and I have been a standing good client of theirs. I have returned so many products to companies like takealot who come collect without issues and don't investigate you prior to coming to take the product back. Even in the worst of situations where i had bought the wrong brands of cartridge takealot never gave me hustles and they gave me a full refund no issues. Yes, I had to send pictures to Netflorist for them to investigate that am returning the same basket, and that i did not eat none of their rotten biltong. Take my word for it, if not, think back to why it was trending for getting people's orders wrong in 2019. Bad Idea, rather buy roses at your nearest retailer.
if its time to leave the Samsung Brand is now. Their product quality has ridiculous gone down, when you return your goods for repairs they use defective products. Then more running around and incredibly bad service, especially at Mall of Africa.
I bought a gear-fit pro Large watch at Samsung store over a year ago, 10 months into it, the watch just stopped working. I took it back to the shop (Samsung store at Mall of Africa), and assessment was made, and it turned out the was something wrong with the batter, which I then paid for, a week before level 5 lock-down. The watch also had a small scratch on the face and was told that Samsung wont honor the warranty because of it. I picked up the watch in centurion after about two months due to lock-down, and only wore it for about two to three week there after and it went blank again. I am lost, disappointed as this was a big investment for me and it is disappointing that Samsung did nothing to assist me.
Until September 2015 my journey with MTN had been seamless because i want trying to contact them. September I called to terminate my contract as it was expiring, and what i got 3 days later was a fraudulent upgrade to MTN Sky (the most expensive package). I followed and the matter was finally resolved after endless calls and reference numbers in November. The contract is now terminated, however, MTN still billed me for the fraudulent upgrade, and they are now sending me smses threatening legal action even though i have called and been told over and over again that the billing will be corrected. They have even disabled my number, and for the life of me i dont know what else to do, I even tried to get their attention on twitter. Please can MTN get its act together.
I bought a laptop on special from Makro, which was suppose to come with free office. I get home and I need a product key from them to access MS Office and when i try to follow-up with them, they give me the run around and tell me i should load a free trial for 60 days.
