A few years ago I signed up to FNBConnect and ported my number to their line.After a few unresolved issues with my bank account,I decided it would be best to move from FNB to Telkom to mitigate future disasters.I have been trying to port to Telkom for the past 3 months and sent from pillar to post because FNB REFUSES TO RELEASE my number so I can port out.I have dealt with more agents than I care to and have had to drive to the branch numerous times with no luck.After a bit of research I now realise that I am not the first or only person to ever experience this.My last call with an agent revealed that they cannot port out numbers.This was after 45 minutes of the agent going through the process of cancelling my contract and reassuring me that it would be done .I have not been able to buy airtime or data on my sim and this has endangered myself and my kids on more than one occassion.FNBConnect is a disgusting service provider and i regret having signed up
The service was appalling from the onset. The hostess Janet was uncourteous and aggressive towards us and made us feel unwelcomed.She was visibly annoyed when wr informed her that the bread would not be enough for us and was quite rude when our leader(Principal) informed her that the potato bake was not fully cooked and ALL of had by then returned it. The establishment seemed I'll-prepared to received us and one wonders if the treatment would have been different if we were not people of color
I was appalled by the quality of service we experienced here on the 7th July. We were a table of 4 adults and a child. I ordered a burger for my 5 year old and it was presented cold, the bun was coming apart, there were no condiments and utensils and I had to ask the assigned waiter for these. Moments later my pork ribs arrived and they were tough and bitter. My partner had ordered a pasta dish and this was very bland. My sister's partner ordered a T-bone steak with vegetables and he got an unidentifiable piece or red meat and chips. When he pointed out that the order was incorrect he was told that the store DID Not have any T-bone steaks. He ended up sharing my sister's seafood platter. Her seafood platter arrived with no rice. We soon realized that out waitress (Thoko) had dumped the table and was nowhere to be seen. When I took my daughter to the toilet I was shocked to find floating faeces in the one cubicle as well as general toilet dirt in the first and second cubicle. I decided that I would not take a chance since I am pregnant and cannot afford an infection. What seemed like a managed later came to my table and went straight for my sister's partner to ask if he had a problem and offer him dessert. He had no immediate solution to the tone steak issue. I can honestly say that we will never return to that branch. The service is appalling. After all these issues we had a waiter standing by our table and telling us that he needed to catch his transport home and this was 21h40.
I ordered one of their burger promotions online and made the payment. I went and collected the order at KFC Kraaifontein only to be told that they couldn't find my order nor could they confirm payment proof. The collection cost me both time and money since I was in an Uber and the staff /manager didn't even have the decency of apologising or even showing face. The service there is appalling and as is turns out so is the food.
I am completely disgusted with the quality of service I received from this company. I lodged a request for a card on the 2nd April and was told it would take 4 to 7 days to reach me and that did not happen. I made a follow up call and the consultant could not figure out what happened to the delivery. I am particularly upset because there is money in that account and i cant access it unless my card has been delivered. Now i have to sit here and worry about my electricity and prepaid water that i cant pay while Discovery drags their feet.
This drive thru is the worst I've been to thus far. systems are apparently shut down every day after midnight and we were forced to wait 55 minutes. The cashiers were equally flabbergasted, definitely not how I want to spend my night at a DRIVE-THRU
This place is trash! We went there for the first time having accidentally spotted it whilst driving around. The manager was rude from the onset, he refused to give us the range of beverages and was put off when we realised that there's more to offer. We also noticed that he was high. The bar help told us on two occasions that we should rather run a tab to avoid running bank charges. The manager flexed and told us that we couldn't and wouldn't explain why even when we told him what we had been told. He eventually got annoyed and instructed another staff member to attend to our FIRST round. Given that we were the only people of color, the only patrons who were ignored and mistreated, it's hard to ignore the fact that this WAS an issue of race. As soon as you recognize the possibility of other races wanting to patronize you the better.
My boyfriend and I had decided to go to the restaurant for a meal and a beer on the 2 May 2016.We sat at a table for 15 mins with waiters ignoring us until I went looking for one.He had been sitting in the kitchen.On ordering our drinks it took another 15 mins ,until I went to the bar and found that there was nobody there.I eventually managed to buy two draughts and took them to my table by myself.Our waiter Brian completely ignored us and took extra care to detour around our table while attending to people who had arrived after we did.We waited for him to at least bring a food menu and that never happened either.I have been to this restaurant before with colleagues and the service was great,now suddenly all white patrons were attended to promptly and I found myself having to be a waiter as well as patron.This is disgusting.
A staff was issued with a gift voucher in order for her to buy Christmas clothing for her children.When she went to the Claremont branch she was told that they were offline .When she went to the Golden Acre branch she was told that they don't accept gift cards and was summarily dismissed.This is absolutely appalling and should in fact be considered as false advertising.Your website clearly highlights the option as available to customers.Do not lie to customers.Also,train your staff at the different branches so that they know what to do instead of customers being turned away.
